Elrood, Late Afternoon

Ever since Tatoonie, where she'd felt and followed an instinct to drain the life out of mercenaries, her hunger never went away. It was always there now, whispering at the back of her mind.

That was partly why a man was on his knees, clutching his head in front of Demolly. He'd tried to attack her, and she was finding out why. When she ripped the information out of his mind, she let go but swiftly reached out with the Force again to draw his life to her.

The man cried out in one short, high pitched scream as his body curved back in an unnatural way. Demolly felt a brief moment of satisfaction as she consumed his life, then the man's corpse hit the ground.

Two of her cultists walked out from the dark after. Demolly allowed her arm to fall back to her side as she turned to face them. "Report," she ordered.

"We found..." one of them started, but his eyes caught a figure walking towards them. Demolly's eyes flicked to the man as well. From the feeling of him, he was the Sith that agreed to help her.

After his escaping his own seclusion, it was time for him to get caught up with what was happening within and out of the Sith Order. It wasn't long until he heard of a budding cult that had slowly been expanding since he left. The leader was a fellow Sith and when asked for help, he happily agreed to learn more about them and who the Sith was that was leading those lost people.

When he finally arrived and walked through the outpost, he was able to sense the other and was able to spot at last minute when the man's torso was bent unnaturally with a crunch. The two cultists were about to speak but spotted him and when Demolly would turn around, Ender would be close enough and in the light for her to fully see him and vice versa. He wore the typical Sith garb, his double-bladed lightsaber clipped to his hip as his only weapon. Unbeknownst to Demolly, he certainly appeared more rejuvenated to his past self and would be a visible difference to those who knew him. The air of tiredness had left him.

"Demolly, I presume. It's very much a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Ender." The cultists just stared at him for a few moments and he finally directed his gaze to them. "By all means, don't let my presence stop you from speaking." Ender glanced down at the mangled body, his silver eyes being flicked over the corpse as he examined it quickly before looking back to the pair. Both of them still didn't speak and turned to wait for what Demolly had to say but continually glanced over at him. Ender just stood there and waited patiently.

Demolly stared at the man for a second, eyeing him in the light before smiling."A pleasure as well," she answered. She'd heard of the man, whispers of him while she spent time in the temple.

Though she did wonder why he'd agreed to help her. While she understood expanding operations onto other worlds helped the Order, she doubted most Sith did anything squarely for that reason, if at all.

But, for the moment, she looked at her men. "You may speak freely," she said, reassuring them that they could talk in front of the man.

"Yes, Mother," one said. He paused, handing over a datapad with information on a specific man. "We found the pirates leader. He recently ordered his men to keep outsiders away from their base at all costs."

"Why?" she asked. They looked at one another. "We... could not find out, Mother," they answered. Demolly frowned, irritation gnawing at the back of her mind, but she looked down at the datapad instead of lashing out.

It was a young man, the newly christened leader of a small pirate group. The group robbed vessels then came back to this planet to find ways to sell the goods. Did they steal something extremely valuable? Was that why the leader didn't want anyone near?

Though it was interesting... all Demolly wanted was their base. It was larger than her cults underground one on malastare, and equipped with several defenses."Focus on securing the base," she ordered. They bowed and walked off without question. Demolly tossed the datapad to Ender in case he was interested and started walking towards the base. As she did however, she bluntly asked, "Why did you agree to help?"

There was a moment of silence but Demolly eventually smiled back and then told her subordinates to continue their report. Ender silently stood there as he put his hands behind his back and listened intently. The man informed the two of a typical pirate operation but not the specifics and he felt Demollys frustration boil for a few seconds but held her tongue. When she finally waved them off and tossed the datapad to him, he caught it with one hand before inspecting it. It was the general layout of the pirate base and what would be useful for a small siege or for a small stealth mission.

Ender followed behind her when she moved, his eyes glancing from left to right until the Sith asked why he wanted to help her. "Curiosity." A small group of cultists passed the pair and his eyes followed them until he would have had to completely turn around to keep it up. "No better way to sate it than first-hand experience. Wouldn't you agree?" The cult business was a dirty one and one that Ender tended to ignore because of the chains it was able to wrap around someone. But he was interested in their business and what they intended to do. A cult was a double-edged sword, one that could easily convince people to turn against the Sith or work for them.

"But I won't lie, this is one friendly gesture for another in the future." There were always personal reasons. As much as they could be dangerous, they could be powerful and a nice ally.

"My turn. Are you more interested in the contents of this pirate base or the base itself?" In his mind, he wondered if this was a simple expansion or if there was an underlying current to the mission. There was always one when a cult was involved. As they headed toward the base, the influx of cultists grew more and more around them and he could only smirk as he answered his question himself. "The base. You're preparing for a siege." Some of the cultists were armed, others carried munitions and other supplies.

Curiosity made sense. Demolly wasn't exactly taking the most traveled path. She didn't answer his first question however, it was rhetorical anyway. But, his second reason made the most sense and she did answer with a simple, "I understand." She was no stranger to this type of an arrangement. A favor for a favor was fine in her books, as long as Ender remained worth her time she'd keep to it.

There was silence between the pair for a bit as they walked, but then Ender spoke again, answering his own question. "Yes, I intend to make the Children of Alkis a harder target by spreading them to multiple locations and worlds." Not to mention, it opened the doors to recruit more men.

Most of her cultists started to make their way towards the front entrance, but others split up into cells and went to windows or other paths into the building. Demolly didn't need to order them, they already had their orders. Instead, she went down an ally beside the building and called on the Force to leap onto a deck above. She assumed Ender would follow.

As she touched down, a man dressed in expensive clothing stopped to look out the doorway leading to the deck. He clearly wasn't a pirate."Who..?" he started. Demolly barely acknowledged how out of place he seemed and swiftly used the Force to grab his throat. As she did though, two guards walking by spotted her.

Her cult was expanding aggressively then. He was used to the business of cults secretly infiltrating themselves throughout society in order to get what they want but this was more of an army. As they made their way to the base, the cultists that surrounded the pair broke off and went to complete their own tasks, obviously shared before the mission began. Demolly continued down her own path and he just followed her, his senses alert as he reached out with the force from time to time.

When they reached the side of the building, Demolly leaped to the deck and Ender followed suit as he landed right beside her. One man questioned who they were as he spotted them but before he could even finish, the force was wrapped around his throat. Two guards immediately broke out onto the deck and to them in response but Ender was quick. He threw his lightsaber with the help of the force, one of the blades igniting as it went through the guard's chest with the blade coming out through his back. The other stumbled back and glanced at his friend but it was too late.

With the force, the lightsaber was pulled out before the second blade was activated and launched through the air like a spear at the other guard. It went through his chest as well and once he collapsed to the ground, Ender opened his palm to summon his lightsaber back to him as he deactivated it. Ender's eyes glanced over each man they came across as he muttered softly, "Interesting pirates." Ender stepped over the bodies and let Demolly do what she wanted with the other man as he went on watch. She was in lead this mission and he wanted to see what she would do.

Ender dealt with the two guards swiftly, leaving Demolly with her choked mystery man. She brought him closer, lowering him to his knees then yanking him closer. "Who are you?" she asked out of curiosity.

"G-g-g-g," he choked, trying to get the words out. "Mm, I guess you need some air," she said idly, letting him go for the moment. The man gasped for air for a few seconds before looking back up at Demolly. "Galan Avark," he said at first. "I'm only here to buy, and I don't care from who. Clearly you're going to take over," he said, though she could sense he wasn't being entirely truthful. He was probably playing it up so she wouldn't kill him. ".. so I'll buy from you."

The small Sith remained quiet for a second while she thought, but then wrapped the Force around his head and made a motion as if she was spinning a ball in her hands. The man's head spun and his neck snapped before he fell to the ground. His death could be blamed on the pirates if someone came knocking, and she wasn't interested in any witnesses or someone who may try to sabotage her efforts here.

Now, she could've asked what he was buying but she was going to find out one way or another. She was about to turn when a man, holding a blaster pistol, came out of a room and aimed the weapon at her. "Shame, I liked him, but I'm willing to make a deal with you two. You're Sith, right? I'm guessing you're after the Sith artifact they're selling. Before you kill me, it isn't here. Keep me alive I'll show you where they're storing it."

Ender brought himself near the door as he watched what unfolded between the two and made sure that no one snuck upon them. The man offered little resistance to Demolly's questioning and tried to find an avenue of escape from the situation. The light at the end of the tunnel he hoped for was snuffed out however when she twisted his head like a bottlecap. There wasn't much to say during this and he was about to turn and head inside but he felt a presence approaching them and fast. Only seconds later, another man strolled forward, a blaster ready in his hand as he aimed it at Demolly.

When he mentioned that the artifact wasn't there and the only way to recover it was through him, Ender nearly rolled his eyes. Both of them were Sith and this was beneath them. The man still had his gun aimed at Demolly and Ender whipped out his hand as the force lashed out with it. The gun was yanked freely from the fingers of the newcomer and he was on him instantly, his hand wrapped around the man's throat as he was slammed into a nearby wall. His weapon was halfway across the floor and impossibly out of reach.

Ender's eyes were completely gold then and he brought the man down so they were eye level somewhat and forced to stare into them. "And how about we rearrange the terms of the deal? You tell us where this artifact is, you get to keep your limbs. I don't care to burden myself with dead weight." The man had courage but it was more on the foolish side as he really thought he could hold up two Sith with one gun.

He brought out his lightsaber and slammed it right into the man's thigh, the initiator burrowed in the man's skin with his thumb on the button. Ender stared at him momentarily, "Shall you start first, or shall I?"

Demolly raised an eyebrow at Ender. The man certainly fit the bill, though she had little interest in Sith trinkets. She was about to continue on when she thought a bit more about it... Maybe she was letting her upbringing get the best of her; she wasn't exactly raised Sith. She wasn't taught to value the Sith Code, or artifacts, or even their history. No, she was only taught to embrace the Dark Side and serve. Obviously she didn't serve anymore, so perhaps she'd find a relic interesting if she came across one?

"I-I...," the man choked at first, catching Demolly's attention now. He knew he had no choice at this point. The reality of how powerful Sith truly were had finally sunk in. "It's in the leaders ship. It-it's docked nearby here. Pl-please spare me...I-I'll serve you!" he tried to yell, though the lack of air didn't help.

Even after hearing him, Demolly was still having a hard time caring; if Ender decided he wanted to go after it after this, she may join him but she wasn't going to go on her own. Perhaps it'd be something he could get out of this deal, outside a favor for a favor.

She continued past Ender, allowing him to choose what he wanted to do with the man. Blaster fire and screams could be heard throughout the building, letting her know the battle was in full swing. Demolly was mainly interested in getting to the leader, since she assumed many of the pirates would retreat or surrender if she got a hold of the man. His office was down a few halls, and camera's seemed to turn towards her as she passed Ender. She spotted turrets ahead too, which prompted her to finally ignite her saber as she continued on.

The man stared into his eyes and realized that Ender wasn't the type to toy with. He waited there as the man choked out a response to him in the best he could make it. The artifacts were on a ship and he took a mental note of it in order to retrieve it later. That was really all he needed and with that, he was given a nod for his service before the lightsaber was placed under his chin and activated. It was quite painless and his promise kept with the man's limbs intact.

Ender followed after Demolly and immediately spotted the cameras that followed their movements. There were two turrets at the end of the hall and suspended from the ceiling. They were pointed at the ground but when the two closed the distance, they instantly perked up and extended their barrels out aimed at the pair. A red laser protruded from each and at the heart of both of them. Demolly continued forward as she turned on her lightsaber but Ender went past her this time as he activated both blades of his weapon.

The turrets fired upon him and he twirled his weapon clockwise to deflect the bolts around him. The length of the blades covered the entire hallway and acted as a shield for her behind him. A few more steps forward opened his palm to the side of him and one of the turrets groaned painfully before being forced to turn and shoot into the other and destroy it. With one still remaining, he closed his palm and the force responded in kind, the metal squealing as the gun emplacement was crushed in on itself. It dropped from the ceiling and made a clang as it hit the floor.

Ender shut off his lightsaber and turned to Demolly, "I insist, ladies first." All that was left was the entrance to the office and he was giving her the honors. It was her operation.

She watched as Ender took down the turrets, not trying to get in the way or help. She simply walked behind him slowly, tipping her head somewhat when he offered to let her go ahead. "A gentlemen," Demolly said with a small inward laugh, amused by the man.

She thought the door would be locked, but as they got to the front of it it hissed open right away. As soon as she did she saw bolts coming her way. Demolly batted away the first onslaught with her lightsaber, then when she had a good look at the two men in the room she more carefully deflected them. The first carefully deflected bolt went into a man's chest, killing him, the other went into another man's arm. The one who's arm was shot spun back in shock.

Despite accurately deflecting the bolts, the small Sith had a frown on her face. Neither of these men were the leader which caused her to go from eerily calm to intensely angry. She didn't like wasting her time. She wrapped the Force around the injured man and picked him up, violently slamming him into the office desk a second later. The small Sith moved forward in a flash, leaning over the man before he could recover from the shock of the impact.

"Where is he!?" she growled, irritation clearly in her voice. But she didn't wait for an answer, she'd only spoken to allow herself to vent. She let go of him and dug into his mind instead, his screams filling the room at the sudden invasion. She made sure it was painful.

After a few seconds she turned to the side, her yellow eyes locked on an open window. Outside it was an emergency exist. She wasn't sure because neither was the guard, but the leader might be heading to his ship, or to get back up or both.

Ender waited patiently as Demolly walked past him and to the door. It was just her turn and when she opened the doors, she immediately was fired upon. As she pushed into the room to deal with the security, he simply shut off his lightsaber and walked in behind her freely. His eyes scanned each man but none held an aurora of authority or shouted commands. Invictus went to the window instead after Demolly started to interrogate one of the pirates, his eyes scanning from left to right as he checked the dock.

One ship stood out, it massive compared to the rest of the ships and in much more pristine condition. When he reached out with the force, he could sense the pulse of the artifact that the gunslinger mentioned before. But there was a chance the leader was there as well and when Demolly looked toward the window, Ender would be gone and after the ship.

He walked through the shipyard and straight toward the pulse that he felt emanating from it. The back hatch was already planted into the ground and Ender tightened his grip around his lightsaber. The ship wasn't activated so there was a possibility the target had taken an alternative route but when he planted one foot on the hatch, that's when the leader shot out. He was donned in Mandalorian beskar and he rocketed right above his head with a jetpack, the Sith having to duck to not get knocked out.

The pirate leader immediately landed on the ground behind him and pulled out two blaster pistols and fired relentlessly at him. Ender twirled his blades once more in response, deflecting the bolts in random directions as he continued to step back and onto the ship. When he was fully inside it, he waited for a break in the fire, and once he found one, he shot his hand forward and sent the pirate leader flying backward and into the broadside of a ship. The jetpack was crushed and he fell down to the hard cement roughly as he was staggered for a moment. He was out and in the open for Demolly.

Ender turned and went deeper into the ship to find the pulse and see if the gunslinger's words ring true.
