Throw some posts into this and it will supposedly tell you who you write like. I threw in my last profile and I got Charles Dickens. Which is cool I guess.

I got Arthur C. Clarke for a couple short sci-fi pieces, Dan Brown for a longer theological piece, and Ian Fleming for a spy piece.

Apparently I'm just all over the place, though I've got the sneaking suspicion it just looks for keyword topics.

I got Dan Brown for Bahadur's bio, Douglas Adams for Samanya's, and William Gibson for Dalang's bio. I am amused.

SIN inspired me to do this. I typed a sentence composed only of every swear word I could think of, copy-pasted it about a dozen times, and got William Gibson.

I put a decent amount of my good writing in, and got David Wallace. Any of you know of him?

I posted each and every one of my posts from Tales from the ER in sequential order, and got Arthur C. Clarke.

I had to look him up. Apparently he had some fairly good scifi ideas, though I've never read him so I have no clue as to the actual quality of his writing.

I wonder if the interruption inherent in pasting only your part of an RP skewed the result.

okay this is pathetically sad. I wrote;
Open here I flung the shutter, when ,with many a flirt and flutter, in there stepped a stately Raven of the saintly days of yore. Not the least obeisance made her; not a minute stopped or stayed he, But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door-Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door- Perched, and sat, and nothing more.

obviously from Poe's Raven.

this said it was " James Joyce"

you think it would have found something to pick poe...I could have chosen any poem or short story, yet went with the most obvious >.<

Chuck Palahniuk

Wait..who?

He wrote the novel Fight Club, later made into a movie, if that gives you any idea.

When you get a name you have not the slightest clue about...google is your friend.
