Altair was both surprised and pleased when she suggested that they didn’t have to part ways just yet and he certainly didn't miss the wink. He smiled at her for a moment before drawing back, “All right then, let’s keep walking,” He said simply as he began to walk along the bridge. The city was quiet this time of night, and even the touristy parts were thinning out with people scattering or turning in for the night.
“What do you like about Rattatak?” He asked as they kept walking. It didn’t sound like a vacation spot exactly and with the warlord and fighting it sounded like it could be miserable sometimes, “You tryin’ to make it more hospitable than it is right now?” Altair asked with a smile. He personally liked warm and hot planets and Rattatak sounded just like that. Bandomeer would always have a place in his heart, however, even though he only experienced a small sliver of it. He wondered if Rattatak was actually more open to alien species such as himself. Even Bandomeer could be unforgiving in the main city districts.
After a rather scenic walk, Celeste would notice Altair was leading towards a very tall and beautiful building that was right next to the river. Being an officer in one of the most prestigious military academies had its perks. On missions, he was now given much better accommodations and afforded much finer luxuries.
“That’s where I’m staying,” He jutted his chin towards the building, “When I was an acolyte I was lucky to get a shared hostel room,” Altair chuckled to himself at the memories. He also thought of his dorm room back on Dromund Kaas. It all had to be worlds apart from the life Celeste had as a diplomat - he knew his own sister Amira seldom ever had anything less than the best accommodations whenever she went on diplomatic missions.
If Celeste joined him, they would find themselves at the top floor, Altair opening the door to a large penthouse style room. There was a wrap-around balcony that looked over the city skyline and the river. He guided her towards the balcony, letting her take a look at the stunning view ahead.
“There’s a lot to do in this city,” Altair explained as he rested his elbows on the railing and glanced out, “There’s a real famous opera house right there,” He pointed in the distance, “I went there a few years ago and it came under attack,” He rolled his eyes, “So I never actually got to see a show. I got dressed up in a suit and everything,” Altair doubted she could picture him in a suit - it was such a far cry from his usual style of attire.
After a moment, he moved closer to her, but he stepped behind her, his height allowing him to still remain gazing at the skyline over her shoulder. The breeze brushed against them, a slight chill weaving into the river-front air. Altair was unbothered by this and he was rather content as he stood there.
“I gotta admit though..” He said quietly, “You’re pretty damn good at distractin’ me from the city attractions,” Altair said as he leaned in closer to move her hair to one side of her shoulder, leaving the other bare. He closed the distance from behind her, tracing feathery soft kisses along the side of her shoulder and towards her neck. His lips and warm breath were a direct contrast to the cool air against her skin. As much as he wanted to nibble and bite against her neck, he wouldn’t leave any marks where they were visible - not for her line of work.
His fingers teasingly traced up along her spine like his tail had done back at the diplomatic building. Only this time he didn’t stop, his fingers working to very slowly slide down the zipper of her dress. It was purposely excruciatingly slow to give her a chance to stop him if she pleased. Altair’s lips remained against the crook of her neck, his attention no longer on the cityscape anymore, “What else do you want to do while we’re here?” He whispered softly against her skin.
