Cyzyn had been hiking for over an hour. He had his ship land at a distance from the cave where he knew the Arkanian Dragons were most likely nesting. The eggs would have been lain fairly recently and not been exposed to fire for some time. There was not enough food this time of year in this area of the planet for the dragon mother to feel comfortable raising young with a limited food supply. As such, this was his time to take what he was after.

Clad in his armor his steps were easily muffled by the snow. While he did not need to take such great care with his stride he did reach out to sense the Dragon's presence and temperament. They were known to be extremely territorial and ferocious. Because of this he knew that the moment he felt any feeling of violence or anger from them then he would be at a disadvantage. The Dread lord did not want to have to interact with the parent arkanian dragons if at all. They would certainly be the most formidable enemy he had faced yet and that would be saying something considering the other creatures and enemies had had fought in his three decades of life.

He kept his lightsaber out and ready to be activated at the earliest moment if necessary. The armor would help if he was found out but only slightly. That was why stealth was his best option. Even his thundslug pulse wave pistol would not be enough to do significant damage. His ability to use the force would only help him in the tangible sense. He could have dozens of Imperial Troops fight the dragon on his behalf but that would be unjust. This was his endeavor and his prize to claim. As such it should be a risk he takes with consequences pertaining to him.

the frigid temperatures of Arkania weren't strangers to the Deucalian, in fact, he had been here before with some of his clan's hunting parties, attempting to illegally hunt the same species the Sith that hired him would tame from birth.
A crazy effort, or at least that's what Ake would think as he followed his "comrade" in the snow, moving ever closer to the cave were they would find them.
its bone-like armour reflected the light of the sun on it, the large greaves on the legs sinking into the white snow that covered the planet, it's Elduroxi thermal axe always hanging on the side as he held it's ts 2 shot blaster firmly on his hands, knowing clearly that using it against a mature dragon would probably only piss it off.

"This is crazy, illegal, dangerous, but may I burn in Hel this is worth it"

The words were ushered as he wouldn't want to compromise the group's advance toward the nest, it was slow and steady, but no risk could be taken against such a dangerous species

He heard the voice of Ake behind him. He turned his head to give him a look that told him to be quiet. There was no room for error, not if everyone wanted to survive this. But before the man could illicit a response the Tiss'shar would turn back to the path head into the dragon's den. He inhaled slowly and exhaled in kind. Using this he focused his energy and attention toward not startling the Dragons deeper in the cave. He used the force to dampen the sounds of the steps Ake and he made.

Arkanian Dragons were strong willed in terms of fauna. For this reason he could not dominate or use the force to control them. This made getting one as a hatchling imperitive. In addition it meant the adults would not be slowed by his mind altering abilities if provoked into open combat. But that did not stop him from creating illusions or hiding the Sith's presnce or his acquaintence. Still it seemed that the two were able to make it into the nesting area without alerting the dragon inside.

A single dragon sat curled up at the back of the cave. Blackened stone and bones littered the ground around it indicating the firy and tenacious nature of the creature. Hopefully if Cyzyn's plan went well they would not need to witness it first hand.

The Deucalian would instantly recognize such a gaze as it fell upon him, and even though he knew they were still distant enough for him to talk, he knew the best option would be staying silent until said so... after all, the den was already in sight, and a short distance walk would bring them both into the cave, a large dragon stood in a silent watch in the back of it's nest, Ake could do nothing but remain stuck in sheer awe and contemplation of such a majestic creature for a few seconds before catching up to his Dread Lord companion.

"I can't seem to see eggs around here... maybe we just have to go deeper" The Deucalian would think as the group went forward, and the sheer amount of blackened stone and bones didn't help but settle an eerie feeling about what was soon going to happen with that dragon if anything didn't go as smooth as planned.

The two would head deeper into the cave. He could tell as they went further in that the air was changing. All it took was a slightly controled environment and the temperature and feel of the air was completely different. It was almost warm. This made it easier for Cyzyn to move. Normally he would have been hindered by the cold weather but the force and the warming cave helped.

When Ake spoke he clenched his teeth. The man was actually talking while they were trying to be quiet. Dragons had excellent hearing and he may as well have just tossed his light saber down the cave. But he did not berate the man, not so much as a grunt came from the Tiss'shar.

The two eventually came within eyesight of the dragon. It was much larger than he had realized. But Cyzyn did not stop his approach. He motioned for Ake to stay near the entrance though. Cyzyn would be the only one to attempt to grab the eggs. Using the force he focused his mind on the nest before him. Both of his taloned hands clenched and felt out for the eggs, the life within them. It was very dark but he could still detect it. Slowly, carefully and with no small amount of luck he was able to raise three of the eggs from the nest without alerting the sleeping dragon not two meters away. Each egg was practically two feet in length and it would be difficult for one man to carry all of them. Now they just had to exit the cave without tripping over anything or waking the dragons in any way.

A Dragon is not forgiving, and a Dragon has a long memory. There was a reason why so few dared enter their lair, there was a reason none who entered returned, and that reason let out a toothy and pensive groan through it's closed maw as something scraped through it's ears. Something was here, and whatever it was, it was to join the same rank of fools whose bones now littered it's floors. The Dragon let it's eyes creak open, not overly grand or aggressive in it's movements. In addition to the simple fact that it was too powerful for common bandits and thieves looking for treasure, there was the fatigue it had grown in response to repeated incursions. It just wanted to care for it's young and raise them into proud and strong kin, not waste time on ants.

It's attitude changed as soon as it laid eyes on it's babies in the hands of the thieves.

The thief was here for her eggs.

The Dragon's eyes snapped open and it let out a deafening roar, it's wings flapping wide and throwing a gust of wind toward the intruders. The hope was that she could knock the eggs from their arms, for they were certainly strong enough to survive the impact of falling on the floor.

These interlopers must die.

The dragon had been alerted. Already out of range of any possible fire breath or melee range Cyzyn knew that he still had to make a quick escape or risk being killed by such a terrifying creature. No manner of effort towards changing the dragon's mind would change its anger. It wafted from it like the fire of a volcano. Cyzyn turned and ran in the opposite direction. Thankfully his tail offered him higher balance than the average individual and yet the claws in his feet still needed to be dug into the rocky floor for him to feel sure footing.

With the assistance of the force he made an effort to escape the would be parent. There was only one entrance and exit to the dragon den and that both limited his options but gave him an idea. Reaching into his cloak he produced the two fragmentation grenades that lay within. As he ran he threw them up, raising them with the force so they would press flush against the ceiling of the cave until he was out of blast distance. They would explode and cause a cave in soon. With any luck it would trap the parent dragons on the inside while he was on the outside of the cave. All the while he never stopped running.

The cave would explode and the dragon would be trapped on the other side. It could have gotten out eventually but not before the Tiss'shar got away with the egg. Now he had the means to start spawning dragons and cultivating them on D'qar.
