She helped move him out of the door of the hostel room, pausing to slam it shut behind her. The last thing I need is a Sector Ranger sticking their fat nose where it isn't needed while I busy dealing with him... she thought as she carried Rynn away. She could come back for the stuff once he was secure on the Condor. It wasn't far to the Starport where she'd left it. There... well, Ajan Kloss. It'd have to be. She could try and stabalise him until then. Maybe one of the Masters knew something about his condition. But he'd be somewhere safe where he could get some help.

And near me too... she thought, before shaking her head as she pushed through the busy Coruscant streets. Shut up, shut up, not helpful Nara, not helpful, shut uppppp.

By the time she'd managed to get him on the Condor, she was aching from helping him move. She managed carry him to the cabin, helping him slide down onto the bed. She stood up, looking at him as he lay there, his helmet fogged up. "Can't keep it off for five minutes..." she grumbled, rolling her eyes. It felt weird leaving him there, in the room that was Master Oren's... and kinda had become hers. But she had to.

One quick visit back to the hostel to pick up her stuff, and then back. Then Ajan Kloss. She knew what she was doing. Kind of.

"Can't keep it off for five minutes..."

The words echoes through his helmet as he shifted, one moment he was drifting out the door and now he was on some bed, on a ship, was he in space or had he died? He watched as the girl vanished out the door, his energy basically gone from his feet, as he laid there with his chest slowly rising and falling. He'd move his hands to unlatch his helmet. Was she an angel...am I really dead..

He hadn't had a sickness like this in years, and it seemed that not taking his medications were going to cut it at this point--he estimated he'd be dead within a half year if he kept at it this rate. Should I just give up on it all..what's the point, she's seen my face, and I can't fight..I'm too weak.. He'd peer towards his helmet, the one his tribe had given him, yet if they saw him now. I don't know if I can be what you want me to...and I'm sorry.

It'd been a fraught trip back to the room. Dashing through the streets and walkways of Coruscant, pushing past people in a rush. What would be the worst thing to happen? One dead Mandalorian boy, or the Rangers busting down the door of her room, where she'd left a bunch of plans of the Ranger HQ around, along with electronic parts? That'd be fun to try and explain, she thought darkly as she returned. Luckily, she hadn't been gone all that long. One mad packing session later, she checked out of the hostel and headed back to the ship.

By the time she headed back to the cabin, she'd already set the ship off. Surely he'd have felt the shudder and groan of the old thing as it lifted off and the engines roared to life. She'd had a little bubble of sadness sat at the controls, remembering how she'd slammed the thing into the swamps over a year ago. I'm a much better pilot now, see she thought, imagining what Oren would think.

They were on their way to Ajan Kloss. She didn't know where else to go. Every other planet she'd been to was either scummy as all heck, or a disaster/disease/war-zone (delete as appropriate). They had healers there... they could help him. She sat at the side of the bed, just watching him breathe. Watching him look around.

Well, this ain't creepy at all, is it Nara?

Shivering, she pushed the thought from the back of her mind. What if she just... what could she do? She moved a little closer, fingertips pressing to where she'd injected him earlier. Just focus. Breathe and focus. Let it come naturally. Feel it around you... she thought to herself, breathing slowly. Breathing rhythmically. The world seemed to slow down around her. Even in the metal confines of the Condor she could feel the Force around them. Around her. Around him and his body.

Help him.

Her eyes closed as she concentrated, directing the flow of energy through herself and into him. The skin around her fingers tingled as she felt it flow gently through herself, pushing through into him. What would it do? Nara had no idea, this was more than just a cut or a scrape, she wasn't going to fix anything. But she could help him last a bit longer. At least until someone better than her got a look in.

He had been so lost and dazed that he hadn't realized that Nara was sitting right beside him, and when her ice cold finger pressed against his warm neck, he felt a shiver run down his body, he'd peer up seeing her round face in clear form, his deep blue eyes locking in with her own as his hand moved to rest against her thigh. He felt a tingling sensation begin to surge through his body, and slowly he could feel a soothing sensation run through his body.

She would see flashes of his pain, the sickness manifested in the form of a twisted Chirodactyl. She would see flashes of him fighting and nearly dying on Dathomir, his armor mangled and destroyed, his constant coughing and vomiting, the insecurity and self-doubt he felt about being a Mandalorian, being a man, as well as his own fear of compassion or growing close to another. Lastly, she would feel the emotions he felt towards her bubbling towards the surface as his breathing slowed.

He would pull himself up from the bed, as he felt her body tense and tire from whatever she had just done. "Wizard..." he'd say in a gentle voice, as his gloved hands cupped around her full cheeks. He'd rest his forehead against her own as he closed his eyes, his lips hovering inches away from her own before he pushed himself past his self doubt and towards her own.

Nara experienced the visions, feeling them rush through her mind. Scattered snapshots of his life. The fighting and near-death. The worries and sadness. The apprehension and anxiety. What he felt about her too...

The exertion behind trying to heal him nearly made her collapse. She slumped forwards a little, blinking and struggling to stay conscious. It was only when he spoke that Nara felt actually awake, actually alive. Touching her cheeks, looking into her eyes. Your eyes are stupid bright. They look nice...

Before she knew it, his lips were against hers. She didn't know what was going on for a second. Is he kissing me? Is it really... oh wait he totally is oh wow... Slowly, she moved her head into a better position and kissed him back. Her heart beat fast in her chest as her arms slipped over his shoulders. Shivering as she leaned back and looked at him.

"That was pretty good, Helmet Boy,"
she said softly, blinking back the fatigue. She leaned forwards, resting her head on his shoulder as her eyes closed.

"You call me Wizard again and I'll space you..." she whispered quietly.

A deep breath would escape the young man's lips, as his head shifted back to take in the Jedi whose hands had wrapped around his shoulders. Kriff..she's cute. He'd think to himself as he bit down on the bottom of his lip, she had the spirit of a Krayt Dragon, and her words were sharp like fire, but they drew him in even more. For a single moment, he had forgotten that he was a sick, that he was dying a slow death, he felt alive and normal and it gave him a hint towards something he never knew he needed, his life didn't need to be defined by taking shots and scheduled rotations of pills, treatment and the Candooine Chills didn't define him, no matter how much he had tried to let it do.

He felt her rest up against his shoulder her eyes fluttering as she slid into the bed beside him, he would instictively move his arm around her side, holding her tightly as he rested his chin on top of her head. His words were soft, "I'm sorry about your father," he'd say with some concern, "And I'm sorry that I wasn't strong enough to help him..and to help you."

Nara yawned slightly as she felt Rynn put his arms around her. This is the weirdest position I have ever been in and I've been in plenty... she thought, though it wasn't negative. She liked being there. Feeling his chin pressing against her head, through her hair. His voice clear and gentle, not muffled behind a helmet.

"It's okay... probably a stupid plan anyway," she shared, not moving. Just savouring the closeness between the both of them. Too tired to do much of anything but enjoy the comfort. "And you are plenty strong, stop putting yourself down. You've got to... make sure you take your shots." The last thing she wanted to hear was some macho bull about it not making him a real man or something. You can be macho all you want until you end up dead.

"He's not my dad he's just my.... y'know," she stumbled, wondering how to articulate her relationship to Oren that wasn't just 'father,' but it came up short.

"We'll get you some help and then... we'll see."

The young mandalorian felt his cheeks run red, as a soft chill ran over his body, his stomach felt light and a swell of emotions bubbled within him. His fingers would trail down her shoulder as he shifted himself along the bed, "I'm a Mandalorian, stupid plans are part of our religion," he'd say with a rare chuckle.

"You're right, though.." His voice would trail away as he thought about his shots and his condition, "..I have this condition, it leaves me sick and isn't curable..I have to take those shots to stay alive basically..and well, I wanted to prove myself to the galaxy that I deserve the title and to walk among my people." His voice was shaky, "But, it was foolish of me to think that I could out will the need for them."

I want to get better, to see you more.. He thought to himself as he listened to her speak. It seemed that maybe they were more alike than they really knew, "Family isn't defined by blood..it's those who raise you, and bring you up in this society..He sounds like a good man, and the fact that you considered breaking him out, means he had to be worth something." His fingers would squeeze gently against her shoulder.

Nara was more tired than she'd ever been, but even then she managed to lift her head and stare up at him impetuously, giving a glare that'd strip the lining off a ship's hull.

"Yeah, you're right, it was foolish. Stupid, even. Of course you deserve to walk among your people. You've got an illness, that's all. You shouldn't be asking if you deserve them, they should be asking if they deserve you." The characteristic sharpness of her voice was honed down to a razor-flash, digging really deep into that simmering pot of anger inside her.

"Promise me you'll take it. You have to take it. I will strap you down and jab you myself if I have to," she vowed, poking him in the neck gently as she said with with a smirk. "And don't think I won't. I guess this is my way of saying I want to see you again," she admitted.

"He is a good man," Nara said quietly, the smile fading slightly. "And I will see him again. I don't believe that. I know it."

Another post from Rynn and then maybe end?

The mandalorian hesitated for a moment as he contemplated her words, he wanted to say she was right, but things weren't so simple. He had to prove himself worthy of the armor, he needed to be a warrior, but it seemed each day that such a dream would not be a reality, but who knew where the galaxy could go. "It's complicated.." Yeah you could say that, but it didn't matter right now.

He felt her hand poke against his neck, with a gentle voice as she begged him to take his shots, and he felt his heart slightly swell, and a pit fill in his stomach. Is this really happening, does she really like me? "I will Nara, I will...and I want to see you again, I uh.." His face flushed red, "I wanted to see you for a long time, after Yeshu, you saved my life and well...you had the prettiest eyes," his voice was soft as he spoke, "I'm glad you took my helmet off, because I doubt I would have had the courage to see those brown eyes with my own.."He'd rest against the pillow, as he curled her into his arms, he did not expect this to end up like it had, but he was grateful for it, and he welcomed it. A Mandalorian and a Jedi Wizard together, the galaxy would have to watch out.
