APPEARANCE:
Zerath proudly announces his Mirulakan heritage by wearing a blindfold. His skin is the color of coffee, and his mop of black hair covers the short Zabrak horns from his mother’s side. He is physically fit and lean. Zerath prefers to wear Jedi robes, and often chooses light-colored fabrics to represent the Light side of the Force.
ATTRIBUTES:
Zerath is determined to be a beacon for the Light side of the Force, and takes special delight in standing against the forces of darkness. His trademark smile shines- almost in amusement- at those who wish to sow despair and strife in the galaxy. Zerath possesses excellent stamina in the Force- a byproduct of his Mirulakan side- and has spent years honing his physical strengths to match, although he rarely engages in lightsaber combat if he can help it as his lightsaber skills lag behind his Force prowess. His confidence in his role and his abilities, while not Ill-founded, can cause him to bite off more than he can chew.
PERSONALITY:
Zerath lets his passions shine brightly and isn’t above using unorthodox methods to achieve desired results. He is friendly and sociable, and strives to make himself available and approachable to everyone; his ready smile has brightened the days of Younglings and Councilors alike. His personal motto is to “Do good recklessly”, which he accomplishes by pouring as much of himself into the Jedi Order as he can. He is always willing to lend a listening ear or a helping hand, and delights in the simple joys of life.
BIOGRAPHY:
A secret child from an illicit affair, Zerath’s Force-sensitivity was cause for delight as his parents quietly shipped him off to the Jedi temple instead of facing public scrutiny. Zerath grew up indoctrinated in the Jedi ways, and his affinity for the Force was noted as he grew into a headstrong youth. He focused on lightsaber Form 6 in order to devote more time to his study of the Force, and passed his apprenticeship trials at the age of 21. Since then he has primarily resided at the temple on Yavin IV where he teaches classes, leads retreats, and helps keep morale up.
SKILLS:
The most basic, and most-used, tool in Zerath’s arsenal is Force Sight, which he uses on a near-constant basis given that he is blind. Zerath is an average duelist, being proficient in Form 6 but not devoting much of his time to mastering more complex styles. His strengths lie in his command of the Force, which he utilizes to inspire his allies and shield the innocent. He practices Mental Manipulation and is working on adapting it for large-scale use. He also has begun studying Force Barrier, as well as Electrokinesis. He also is proficient in Pyrokinesis
