DESCRIPTION​

Zeno Droid Technologies (ZDT) is a small droid company whose products appeals mainly to droid aficionados and tinkerers. This is due to ZDT products being widely known for their droids possessing an ease of modification and repair, which makes them desirable for tinkers. Although an older design, the ZDT-410 “Vanisher” Security droid is very similar to the YD-Series Security Droid in functionality and comparable in many ways.

There are a myriad of rumors surrounding these droids. In the batches that have been produced and available for purchase, the ZDT-410 has mixed reviews. Some whisper that the Vanisher has an over-sized torso with plenty of space for modifications—specifically used to smuggle small items. One of the criticisms of the droid is the bulky frame and the over-sized head unit, which makes its profile a bit more of a target than a thin framed droid, such as the IG series. Regardless, they are readily seen as bodyguards in Hutt Space.
