The brilliant viridian blade arced and weaved through the night air. The smaller abominations were no issue to deal with for Kane, it was the larger ones that were the issue. Especially in the numbers that surged through the streets. He'd been on a reconnaissance mission for the Jedi when he had gotten the distress call from Ossus. The Jedi Knight had come as soon as he could. Now he was on a far flank of the actual front line, helping to protect evacuation and medical personnel. Even on the far flank, hundreds of abominations tore and ripped through buildings and people alike.
The smaller abomination ducked and weaved, snarling at the Knight. It lunged, only for Kane's blade to sizzle among it's flesh and slice through it. The body fell in two pieces, adding to the several that were piled up around him. What little survivors had been on this block were either eaten, hiding, or had run back to the evacuation and medical area. He'd only been on Ossus for a couple of hours now and his crimson tunic was already covered in soot and a mixture of blood from abominations and people.
Kane sighed, keeping his lightsaber ignited as his dark brown eyes searched the darkness around him for movement. What astounded him the most was that when he first appeared, the civilians were almost just as afraid of him as they were the abominations. It made sense, considering the Empire had continued a war against the Jedi. It wasn't until Kane had started fighting the monsters that the people realized he was there to help, and used his distraction accordingly. Now the people were all but gone and the monsters only remained, slain or otherwise.
He did find it amusing. The Jedi Order sent him on a mission behind Imperial lines only for him to have to help them. He'd be doing the same on Coruscant again if he hadn't been in the area. The more abominations he witnessed, the more the nightmares worstened, and yet the only thing he could do to combat the nightmares was to fight the abominations. If the bags of stress under his eyes were the teller of tales, they would tell a tale of broken sleep and screaming wake ups.

(The template mentioned PVE/cPvP but I don't mind regular PvP should it happen. I'll defer to the majority. Still Death Disabled.)
OOC: Death Enabled
Kane was helping some slaves escape, trying to start yet another revolution. Even waved his lightsaber around a few times. Everything he had brought with him in the spoiler'd post above is what he has now.
