- Personality -

Operative 66 is the living manifestation of destiny. Operating from the shadows he seeks to keep the balance of power within the senate by assassinating those who he deems to toxic a democratic Republic. While technically a political terrorist to some and a hero to others he is known ONLY to those in the upper echelon. This is due to him taking extremely well paid side contracts. His job has made him very to the point and he accepts no faffing about. Once a deal is made the parameters of the deal do not change, if a customer attempts to change the deal Operative 66 (O66) kills both parties evolved. Fearless, remorseless, precise and unbelievably effective he is a deadly weapon operating in the deepest of secrecy.

This is my idea for a political terrorist. The idea is that he could maybe be hired in order to swing the balances of power in the senate or something like that. I just couldn't seem to word it correctly in the personality bit so any help would be appreciated!

Got one of my Jedi all laid out. The bio doesn't feel quite right to me yet, and some other tweeks could me made as well, but the general concept is all there.

Any comments or criticisms are greatly appreciated.

As for @Tsunami, I feel that O66 is a little too over the top, and that's coming from a guy who just posted a magic crusades era knight with a laser sword and a dragon painted on his space armor. I'd maybe try to stay away from words or phrases like "unbelieveably" or "living manifestation of *blank*". Also, I feel like this would be one of those characters best described by two profiles, one like some form of official record, like this style: http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/generic-template-2.61258/

And then one from his own view or an OOC approach like you have already.

The equipment and stats seem actually well balanced, although the grammar could be improved and a bit more detail added.

For example, in equipment, instead of just posting "Sniper", try something more along the lines of:

Blastech SR-31 Heavy Marksman Blaster: Among the heaviest members in the SR line of rifles, the SR-31 comes stock with a high resolution camera in place of a traditional scope. This feature allows the sight picture to be controlled via computer as well as manual inputs, and also allows for the picture to be linked directly to a user's compatible heads up display. Although the rifle's blaster pack only contains enough charge for three shots on maximum power, the SR-31 more than makes up for this in raw damage, with a kill range against heavily armored humanoids of roughly 250 meters, extending to well beyond a kilometer for softer targets.

William Drake is noted for his stubborn adherence, if not zealotry, to the ideal that the duty of warriors of the Light is to combat the minions of the Dark, that a true Jedi should strive to protect the weak by first-and-foremost eliminating the Sith that seek to enslave the galaxy. This must surely be the will of the Light and the purpose behind each Jedi's call to power.[/fancybox4]

William's inherited suit of armor has been passed down the Drake line for generations, each previous owner gifting it to his son when he was deemed worth of wearing it. The Drake family warriors have taken up the symbol of a dragon to be something of a family crest, and have worn its image on their armor long before this suit.

Like most modern suits of combat armor, the Drake family suit is comprised of several layers. The first layer is a simple rubberized body glove, which is mildly electrically and thermally resistive, but its primary role is simply as a foundation for the outer layers. Next, a layer of ballistic mesh is layered over the body glove to increase protection against shrapnel, knives, and small projectiles. A second layer of this material is then added over all areas not to be protected by plates. Lastly, numerous different durasteel armor plates are layered as shown, protecting the chest, arms, lower legs, outer thighs and hands. An optional helmet provides resistance against moderate head trauma and can filter out hazardous airborne material for a short time. A small personal shield generator is housed within the back plate of the armor, providing mild protection against energy weapons before needing several seconds to recharge.

William's lightsaber is built with a solid, two-handed grip in mind, with a hilt that is is slightly longer than standard for Jedi Knights. The saber also incorporates a crossguard of phrik, extending roughly six inches from the hilt in either direction. The blade of the saber burns a fierce gold. A multi-phase emitter allows William to adjust between blade lengths of approximately three to six feet.

Description

[fancybox2]William Drake is a notably physically imposing man, standing well over six feet tall and weighing in at about 225 pounds of muscle. This great stature and strength are the core elements of his Djem So combat style. Natural bulk, heavy armor and sheer willpower also allow William to take massive amounts of punishment before succumbing to his injuries. His size and strength aren't without their drawbacks however, as the sheer bulk of both his armor and own body limit William's speed.

As a self described man of the sword, not the book, William's mental attributes are average at best, with only the most basic of a formal education. Still, he possesses a sort of cunning on the battlefield, the type common among those warriors who live longer than luck alone could allow. In a conversation, he is rather short and direct in a sort of cold manner. What words he does speak are clearly said, backed by a voice that drips with unshakable conviction, regardless of the situation.

William knows how to utilize relatively few Force abilities, but his sheer willpower makes the effect of these few abilities surprisingly powerful, although they lack focus. He has displayed the ability to create pockets of compressed air that rapidly expand to violently push anything in their path, as well as increase his strength and speed for a short time. Biography

[fancybox2]Born the son of Jedi Crusader Joshua Drake, William was raised from birth to be a loyal warrior against the Sith. Since the boy was old enough to hold a sword, his life had been devoted to training and mental conditioning at the behest of his father. His early years were filled with intense physical exercises and sparring matches, and whenever his young body just couldn't take any more abuse, heavy doses of stimulants and rejuvenating drugs were used to prepare him to start it all over again tomorrow. Through it all was his father, telling him why he needed to be strong, even as he knocked his son to the ground. He had to be strong because he had to win. The only way to stop the Sith, to remove their taint from the galaxy, was not to turn a blind eye and hope they go away. You had to win, had to be strong, had to get back up, no matter the cost.

That was his life then, and is still his life now. William's father has long since fallen on the field of battle, not defeated with honor, but downed by a sniper's bullet. A cowards weapon, for a servant of the Sith that dared not face a true warrior in combat. William had long since accepted his fate to likely be falling in battle, but he wished to go out with honor, with dignity. The thought of his father passing without a death worthy of a crusader of the Light caused the flame of righteous fury to burn in his heart hotter than any lesson his father had ever imparted. He now seeks to bring about an end to the Sith as a whole, or die in the process. Which matters not, so long as the crusade lives on to see the final victory of the Light.

Here's an interesting question; how is that a bad thing, or hypocritical, to wipe out a culture in the name of the Light side? Core tenets of the Light are often revolving around concepts of healing, goodness and mercy, but that's not the same as pacifism and all-acceptance. Another of the most significant stances and objectives of those following the Light Side is to fight evil wherever it is found. If a culture specifically nurtures within its adherents qualities that are not only associated with the Dark Side (and the qualities associated within), but also afflict the galaxy at large, repeatedly, it wouldn't just be understood, but even expected that many Lightsiders, Jedi included, see that culture as a cancer that has to be excised before the galaxy can begin healing again.

Of course, that's just one stance.

Apart from evil being inherently dependent on the culture at hand, there is no justice in wiping out an entire culture or belief system because their ways are seen as "evil" by yours. If they worship the Dark Side and that is the end of it, are they to be burned alongside those who spill blood in the name of the Dark? If you spill blood in the name of the Light, are you any better? The most important precaution to take when fighting monsters is to make sure you don't become one in the process...

With Rhonan's people being near-extinct at this point of galactic history, he's going to be anti-eradication if he can help it.
