Tribunal of blood (All Bloodied hand, especially Jediman and Veral)

James saw everyone pull the weapons out and what looked like a firing squad.

"Well if we have to have this done I'd like to at least say that it was fun." James didn't pull a weapon out or anything and was waiting for the worse.

((Yeah... no. My character is not getting punished for not wearing a mask. If he was not part of the group being punished, then I will delete this post.))

Veral had listened to the other men make thier cases, and had been silent for the entire period of it. Then he heard Ivan tell them that they were all going to be punished, and he saw the other men raise thier rifles. But, as they were doing that, which was a terrible decision, Veral had primed a plamsa grenade as they did, and waited two of the three seconds before throwing it. The throw, was at Ivan. In the closeness of the room, almost nothing could be done, even if someone reacted instantaneouesly, it would most likely kill Ivan, and all of those who were on his side of the desk. But, he knew that the one man, Kyle, was force sensitive, and might be able to stop the grenade with the force. So the moment the grenade was leaving his hand, he drew and fired his blaster pistol once, with an amazing draw time, at Kyle. The shot flew towards his head, at this range, he could either take the bolt, or stop the grenade. He started to prime another grenade, just in case his next one somehow failed.
((There is no godmodding in my post, nore is there a chronological problem. All of his actions took only a few seconds to complete, and some were being done while others were talking))

((I was under the impression that Ivan locked the doors before the guards even raised their weapons.))

Marian instinctively fired at the flying blaster bolt, knowing of the resulting mini-explosion of different energy bolts hitting each other. His eyes registered the flying explosive, but his body simply cannot move fast enough to stop the explosive or get Ivan out of harm's way. Even more so, his dominant hand was occupied with the firearm, which would take things the nanoseconds longer that could not be sacrificed.

((Sorry, I didnt see that. Edited appropraitely. Also, jsut throwing this out there, in case anyone decides that it is a brialliant idea. Grenades explode when you shoot them.))

Reacting entirely on instinct, not even knowing if what he was doing would work or fail, Kyle raised both his hands, the Force actually guiding his actions. He may be only an amateur compared to any Jedi, but in times of great need, the Force tended to kick in for the better. He barely noticed the shot flying towards his head, but even if Marian had not shot it, his immediate reaction of moving slightly would have caused it to miss. With all the Force he had ever felt, still not really knowing what was going on, he felt what seemed like an extension of his arm reach over and grab the grenade. As though in slow motion he saw it levitate and fly to the far side of the room, right into the corner. Still completely letting the Force do the work, Kyle actively focused all of his attention of pushing inwards on the grenade. The three second timer had almost run out and Kyle braced his barrier as best he could, praying that it would stop all of them being incinerated. Once he survived he would turn his attention, and that of his lightsaber to the would-be martyr. As the man entered Kyle's head for all of a nanosecond he felt more danger from him, but not yet. Worst case scenario he had another grenade. Best case scenario and he was going to take the hint and stop trying to kill everyone in the room, including himself, which was what would happen if the full power of the grenade went off.

Braced, gritting his teeth and putting all the concentration and energy he had into pushing into the grenade, as his instincts told him, he felt what could only be the explosion. His barrier held a little, enough to prevent anyone being killed by the explosion, although he fancied there would be a small hole in the wall where it exploded. And the shockwave was something he had no control over. Nor did anyone else and in the next split second everyone in the room was thrown from where they stood, away from the corner where the explosion had taken place. Kyle himself connected hard with a wall, but he was far from out, the Force-strengthened adrenaline flooding his veins allowing him to spring back to his feet and he drew his lightsaber in his right hand, the blade humming to life and his pistol in his left, his face livid.

James had fell back on his butt after seeing one of the other pirates attempting to kill Ivan. Well that is not going to happen. James pulled his crowbar out and made sure his armor was working and turned towards the man that was locked in.

((All he's down is raised his arms and pushed it in the corner, before it goes off. I just included a lot of detail.))

((Oh, you said something about the timer length, and I thought that you did not know that. Actually, If you guys want me to un-do this, then that would be fine, if not, I will gladly keep going with this.))

Max had backed up into a corner before the grenade had been thrown, but now with the mass confusion he slipped a acces card off of the belt of a gaurd, turning he slid it through the slot brely shaking his mind was still a few steps in front his body as he squeezed through the small crack now appearing where the door was hoping everyone was too stuned to respond quikly enough.

The flash of Ivan's gun was barely visible, but the large crack sound from firing roiled around the room. The shot sped towards Max, aiming for the legs. He would either fall to that, or the guards posted outside.

Veral was barley thrown back from the grenade, as he was obviously expecting it. He was still in a very oppurtune position, and he saw Ivan waste his time with a shot at Max's leg. Veral then fired his blaster at the knocked down force user, aiming for his hands. He had no desire to kill this man, only to disable everyone else so he could leave. As he did this, he released another plasma grenade, this one also had about one second left as he threw it. His armor could take a full explosion from that, he would be injured but he would survive. As soon as the grenade left his hand, he had started to draw his rifle, just in case anything went wrong. Like the idiot pirate with a crowbar who should've been working with him.

Again, the pistol cracked. This time, the grenade exploded before it would cause damage. Ivan rose. As he did so, he flipped the huge table over, drawing his sword. He charged for the fool throwing the grenades, uttering a roar.

((No, it had less than a second left to explode, you shooting it wouldve just made it explode faster. You killed everyone in the room except for those wearing heavyish armor. Which I am actually quite fine with. ))

His pistol spewed out more blaster shots as Marian aimed his firearm at Veral's shoulders, aiming to disable the man to prevent him from releasing any more grenades. His eyes were a display of anger and annoyance.

((Gotta say...no matter how "braced" or "expectant" you are, if a grenade explodes in the same room as you would be thrown across it. Even so, the speed all this is happening at I'm going to say that if you're back up and have aimed a pistol and thrown another grenade, I'm back up with my lightsaber.))

As Kyle flicked his lightsaber on a pair of shots flew to his hand. Dropping his wrist they both flew into the humming orange blade, flying back to their originator. Simultaneously, Kyle noticed the intense danger from yet another small red sphere. He opened his left hand, dropping his pistol, and barely had to concentrate on what he was doing now. He knew he could move it fast enough, he had done it once before, but he coubted he could surpress it again. He grabbed the grenade in the Force and before the invisible extension of his hand had grasped it, it was flying through the air. As a small red blur it flew out of the small opening in the door which one of the pirates had opened and there was enough time to hear it connect with something solid, either the wall or the floor, before it exploded. It wrenched the doors from the frame it was a miracle they hit nobody, but flying through the room, the force of the grnade not as strong through the wall but those near the door were thrown down. Kyle thought that the man outside, and unfortuneately the guards, must have been vaporised by the powerful explosion of flames, but all inside the room were still standing, saved by the wall and now broken doors. Kyle breathed a sigh of relief before raising his lightsaber defensively, his glare intensely terrifying from his towering frame.

(( Too much fun with grenades for me. Also it is a plasma grenade, which means that there is very little force from it, but quite a bit of damaging heat.))
