no I have been using the training variant. One of Ryak sabers is his real one but it has a training setting the other is a training saber. Sorry for the confusion.

If anything, this is a good thing. It gives you possibilities for your character's background, personality and stuff. And also gives depth to my own character's involvement within the galaxy. Think about it. Have a read of Lachlan's biography, and the first page or so of the thread he's involved in. You might yet find your inspiration.

If we end up on opposite ends of the 'fight', it can be awesome fun!

If you have a read of Lachlan's bio, perhaps your bioengineer could have actually been the one who set the self-destruct and stuff. Really have a fun dynamic for us to play off. An intellectual rivalry that's gone too far, of sorts. Don't abandon it! Have a spot of fun with it!
