Sith bounty hunter seems like a pretty neat idea. I wouldn't want to be on his hit list, I can assure you. lol

In all honesty, a Master isn't actually necessary to advance. All you need to do is undertake missions and participate in training sessions to gain new skills, and you'll be climbing the ranks in no time. I've gone this far with Mila without ever having a proper Master.

But the choice is entirely up to you. If you want to seek out a Master then that's perfectly fine.

I can say, from experience, that I haven't had much luck with the Jedi either. In fact, Mila [my Acolyte] started as a Jedi, but I found it really difficult to get her settled there. So I abandoned it in pretty quick fashion and signed her up for the Sith. She's getting closer to a promotion though, so hopefully she'll be a Crusader soon.

You mentioned that you haven't had much luck with putting your picture into the template. Find where it says this-

If you haven't already, make an account on an image hosting site, such as http://www.postimg.org, make an account, and upload your desired character picture.
Underneath your picture on the website, you should be able to see a list of html codes. Copy the one that says "Direct Link". Then, remove the bit I high lighted in green out of the code and replace it with the direct link.

Sorry if I interrupted any Rping. One last annoyance before I leave you alone, how do you actually implement a profile template onto your profile? I originally assumed that you coded it and Sauls template was just something to work off, but after seeing how common this template was, I presumed it to be unlikely that everyone was able to code this so accurately. Is there another way I don't know about?

Your character looks great! I love the format and the template. If I had any Jedi characters, I'd offer to RP with you. But the most I could offer would be a duel with my Acolyte. Haha.

I see. Nothing wrong with that. The more time you take to put detail into his back story, the better. Something else I forgot to mention earlier, you'll need to change the Sith in his story from a Darth to a Lord. The Darths are basically the ones running the Imperium, so it would be more likely for Yar to meet a Lord instead.

I just took a look at your character. He seems wonderful! My only question would be whether or not you have more of his story planned out. He's marked as a Jedi, but his biography somewhat leads me to believe he would be with the Sith instead.

Yes, unfortunately the administrators had to put the spam filters in because we were having such terrible issues with bots overrunning the boards. But you should be good to go in no time. I look forward to seeing your character.

Hi, Reius! I just saw your question in your introduction thread shortly after I posted and figured I would answer that here rather than making an edit to my post that may be overlooked.

To answer your question, the site has a spam filter built in that prevents bots from overwhelming the site. Unfortunately, the character profiles board is one that is automatically moderated by the spam filters and it won't let someone post a profile with images or links to exterior sites until they have 4 valid posts. Basically it's a fail-safe to make sure you are a person and not a random ad bot trying to spam the site.

Once you have 4 or more posts though, you should be able to post your character sheet. And failing that, you can get in touch with an Admin and they should be able to resolve the issue for you.
