I can't send you one band, because they are an amalgum of 4 bands. They have the lyrics of an oldies band I heard 10 years ago and have forgotten the name of, the twang of MCR's vocals, the general feel of Panic at the Disco (second album), and maybe a bit of greed day thrown on for good measure.

also I listened to the song you sent me. Meh. I've heard this kind of thing a thousand times before. It too sounds whiny, but this time its more of a satirical dig whine where the other was just straight up whining. The singer also does nothing to draw me in. He doesn't sing, just speaks, barely changing pitch at all. as for the instruments. Its of good quality, but very repetitive. Its exactly tthe kind of self important college made shlock that makes me hate dealing with "Musicians" (cause I do know a few)
I repeat. These guys bring nothing new to the genra that wasn't there before.
Does this mean their bad?
No.
It means they are mediocre. Run of the mill. They are indie. And reek of it. But if your indie, they are for you.
ok, I started playing it again, and I take back my statement about the singer. It changes pitch, rarely. But now that I listen again, they sound like they ave marbles in their mouthes.

This sounds really whiny. Like the kind of stuff you'd hear on an adult soft rock station. This is exactly the kind of song I'd never listen too.
Ok, so I don't listen to a lot of music now, but I used to listen to a lot, from oldies to modern. These guys feel like an oldies band crossed with My Chemical Romance.

meh. I actually just acquired 5 top notch albums that will occupy my music listening for the next year.
I only get new music about once every 6 months.
I choose to listen to old foriegn music or to techno. The funny thing is, I have a majestic singing voice. So when I do sing, its beautiful. But because I rarely listen to music with words, I rarely get to sing.
I suppose I do like orchestral pieces with a good melody.
right, that dr. horrible. I kinda hate music, so I probably wouldn't like it. After all the first thing I do in any game is disable the music. and I use my mp3 player for audiobooks only.

I just can't stand the one character with the curly hair and the voice like he gargles broken glass. When I got to the point where there were two episode devoted just to him in a row, I gave up on the series.
I only like the "Awaken" song /episode of that series. the rest didn't really do it for me. I'm more a slice of life girl. Though all my friends are goth so they all want me to watch that series.
