I think it's quite good actually. Niche better than a lot of others I've seen do some research though. Make sure that durasteel hull is mde of an alley string enough to withstand battle after you've lost some shield power. Other than that great job
Hey Mav, I have a question: Ro never received any training from any sort of master (no one ever wanted him :() and I was wondering if I should try and apply for another master and place their sessions together in the time before the enclave? I know this doesn't really pertain to our threads or anything but I'm trying to find a way to let Ro grow and maybe be eligible for knighthood at some point. Originally I was ok with no master since I figured if I won the Crucible it wouldn't matter since the prize was auto-ranking to a knight. Unfortunately, those threads died from inactivity and now I, quite literally, have no way to pretty much ever become a knight with Ro (even if he wasn't an emotional, angry, non-Jedi-like individual :P).
Just warming up. One of the downsides of RP is that it is sometimes as boring as RL, simply because that's what we're simulating through our characters - there are always going to be days when you just sit around and talk about nothing much, because people do from time-to-time. Doesn't bother me, because it's always an opportunity for a little character development. Plus it's a good time to scope out your new apprentice :p
It's not patronising, it's ironic ;) Besides, I'm enjoying your writing so far, which to my mind means post length is definitely irrelevant. Hell, only time it is relevant is when it pertains to inclusion of detail. Certainly better than that shamble of a thread I was reading yesterday. You were lucky if there was a paragraph per post. Ugh...
Noob? That's not very nice, particularly since I'm nothing of the sort! And that was a short post. If you want to see a long post, you should read my training thread with Tirdarius ;) But size isn't a measure of quality, you know!
