DESCRIPTION​

The 100-series labor droid is a model of general labor automaton manufactured in the Stygian Reaches by Hogarth Machine & Foundry, a major engineering corporation with roots predating the Great Unmaking. One of the more popular models of labor droid available in the Reaches, the 100 series appears fairly crude and spindly, however it has surprisingly good build quality, and it is fairly easy to repair most mechanical faults on the model even with basic tools.

Notably, unlike certain other designs, the 100 series is outfitted with relatively robust cognitive circuitry. This allows the model to be more independent than some other basic labor models, able to solve problems and generally work unsupervised for long periods of time. The model has an integrated comlink for remote communication and datalink functionality, allowing it to be commanded remotely if necessary.

Like most droid models in the Reaches, the model's commonality is relative; 100-series droids are considered a valuable piece of equipment, and despite their clunky appearance, are generally built and programmed to last. They are not cheap or disposable.
