- Quiet
- Has a few screws lose, physically and mentally

Intellect: 3/10
Strength: 7/10
Agility: 4/10
Constitution: 7/10

PERSONALITY:

8D3 is very impatient, often tries to get the job done as quickly as possible. It is very quiet, possibly because its programmed to listen when others are talking or its secretly plotting to murder another fleshling. Programmed to be determined, usually when trying to annihilate its bounty. Not very kind towards targets most of the time, it would rather start shooting than try to make deals or spare them, but in its programming based around bounty hunting, it can still feel mercy for its bounties. It has a programmed lust for credits to accommodate to bounty hunting. However, due to its aggressive and evil emotions, it still has loyalty to its employers, something that stuck from its old smelting droid programming.

BIOGRAPHY:

On the desert planet dotted with volcanoes named Aridus, a smelting droid named 8D3 labored at one of the geothermal power stations owned by a Hutt. The Hutt wanted to make profit with something other than criminal business. 8D3 was resistant to heat and minor damage, as all smelter droids were made hardy and durable to work in extreme conditions. 8D3 didn't hate its job, in fact it didn't have any emotions at all.

A Hutt visiting Aridus to investigate his geothermal power station had an interest in the smelting droids working there. He saw potential in them, due to their toughness and durability. The Hutt demanded the nearest droid, 8D3, would be taken back to Hutta to be experimented on. The droid was reprogrammed with better reflexes, the ability to kill organic life, survival instincts, but most importantly, the ability to make its own decisions. 8D3 was also giving "emotion", which were simply just lines of code that resembled a human's emotions. The droid had emotional responses to certain things, like if someone spilled a drink on it, it will get angry, if it completed a job it will feel happy, and it did actions based on its emotions. It even felt a sense of its own mortality, it feared dismemberment.

It was fitted with medium grade armor, a jet pack, a flamethrower, a blaster pistol and later a extendable shock baton (due to the droid's strength often killing targets that it was meant to bring back alive, instead of debilitating them. The Hutt was impressed with his new asset, and used it as a personal bodyguard and bounty hunter.

The Hutt realized its mistake to get 8D3 reprogrammed, as 8D3 would constantly rampage in fits of anger or try to find joy in pleasures of organic life (both which were not good for a Hutt's personal bounty hunter. The Hutt ordered the droid to be decommissioned, but 8D3, in fear, fled the planet and snuck aboard a cargo ship leaving Hutta and left for the next destination, ready for what comes next...

Eventually, 8D3 found the Bounty Hunters Guild. Liking the idea of having a sustainable amount of bounties from one location instead of searching for them, as well as the credits of course, 8D3 joined up.

SKILLS:
Incineration
Arson
Intimidation
Smelting
Laboring
Jetpack flying

GEAR:
A wrist mounted flamethrower on its left hand
A blaster pistol
Extendable shock baton
Jetpack

Hey dood,

So I am mostly Ok with this guy, with only two concerns. First, please make sure the pre-recs to guild membership are included in your profile. I assume this mean you probably didn't fully read the BHG charter post, so that may help. It's nothing major, and I realize I could make it a little clearer also, but the idea is I basically want to make sure you actually read everything first. These are the pre-recs

  1. Hunters come from vastly different backrounds, and some are more noble than others. Before joining, make sure you don't have any current warrants on your head.
  2. Each candidate for membership in the Bounty Hunters Guild must have a minimum of five (5) confirmed captures, with bounty payouts totaling at least 20,000 credits.
  3. Each candidate for membership in the Bounty Hunters Guild must survive the initiation test.

You can just get creative and write a little about his pre guild professional life. It's really just fluff, but It's my only litmus test really.

Second though, maybe flesh out his equipment a bit? I appreciate that it is all mostly generic, but especially since Hunters tend to see a lot of combat, detail would be helpful. Power source, fuel soruce, ammo cappacity, range, etc. I don't think/hope you don't need to submit this particular droid character as tech, so just some technical detail here ould help.

Otherwise, nothing major. I'm excited to have a droid hunter join!

Alrighty, I'll work on it.

You know what?

To be clear, The tech stuff does not affect your BHG app, just thoughts of mine.

furthermore, I am gonna change the application process. I like this character, and thought I do want to see his relationship to the guild expanded on, there is time for it.

APPROVED!

In the next two Days I will have a new bounty board up, and post an open social thread for guildies. Until then, use @Kiro's original BHG Data vault. Congrats!

I made an assassin droid out of a betty-bot last timeline. She was...interesting.
