Onderon
North Reachtail

@EmilyHuene
North Reachtail stood hardly eight hundred kilometers away from Onderon's capital of Iziz, yet hardly enjoyed the daily blessings that citizens of Iziz took for granted. The walls guarding North Reachtail fell into ruin in 1,300 BBY. While the infrastructure of the once proud city crumbled and nature's horrors invaded, it's people lived on. They pulled into the center of the city and managed to keep the beasts of the night at bay. Tens of thousands managed to survive. Only recently have they been able to push out further into their once proud city and clear landing zones big enough for freighters to land. What little food stores they made last have since been depleted and their rooftop gardens have withered. They are in desperate need of food and medicine. The landing zones and inhabited areas have been secured by Onderonian military personnel and are safe.

The Handy Heckler, taking a temporary break from its usual smuggling routine, was one of the first freighters to be volunteered for the relief effort in North Reachtail. When the first images of the surviving inhabitants were made public, the ship captain's heart broke. Ailill Aherne, an Onderonian native, couldn't stand to see his countrymen in such a sad state. With his ship stuffed to the brim with rations supplied by the Crown, he touched down in the newly cleared landing zone. An unloading crew wasted no time getting started with his cargo, although it would take a several hours for the process to end and his ship released back to him. He wanted to see the city remnants for himself. Ailill walked through the bustling landing zone, his suit protecting him from the sun's harsh ultraviolet rays. The protective garment drew the attention of onlookers.

Several miles away from the small little rundown town a new ship was beginning to make its descent. The ship was not in any sort of hurry, per se, but it did seem to know exactly where it wanted to land. Finding the perfect clearing of trees for the ship to touch down at, it slowly settled itself to the ground and the engines shut off. Moments later the ramp would lower and out from the ship came a young woman shrouded in a white cloak with red trimmings. Although at first glance the person's identity, and gender for that matter, couldn't be identified, but from what facial features were able to be see would be enough to at least give someone a small clue. After the girl stepped off the ramp she would turn back slightly and raise her hand. The ramp would close all of its own accord and then lock up tight. The girl then continued on her way. But she was not alone in this forest.

Now that the engines had died out the forest began to return to life, full of birds chirping and wolves howling. Sensing food, a small pack of canine beasts soon began to come toward their prey. It wouldn't take long for the pack to find the young woman and no sooner had they found did they surround the woman. Baring sharp teeth and ravenous hunger, they began to circle around her. But the woman had no fear. She merely lowered down and sat down on her knees, her hands gently folded in her lap. The wolves continued to growl at her until one made its move. The wolf charged at her-

-then stopped. With no reasoning the wolf came to halt before the cloaked woman. It seemed unable to continue its attack. It growled at her again, then sniffed the air. It whined loudly and then turned tail and began to walk away. The other wolves seemed to do the same. Not having any fear of the situation, she would now stand and continue on her way. The trick she had used was actually quite simple. Choosing not to harm the creatures in any way, she merely calmed them down using her emotions. Since she had to use it on several of them at once, the feeling of her touch upon the Force would likely be felt all the way back at Reachtail.
