Ok, so my point stands, how is Jaleer able to do anything? Given he's a rather freshly knighted Jedi, who is 'taking a moment' (moment would be, he would really really need to focus on locating each device and setting them off), when he holds his focus on activating a butt ton of grenades in the room. Which in turn, is enough time for Ebb to spurt forward with her already activated lightsaber and lodge it into his body, especially with it being a surprise to him and it would take less than seconds to complete it, he doesn't have time to squirm, flinch, or really give the reaction you have just written.

My guy has been using force valor when she jumped at him, plus he isn't that freshly (at least I don't think he is) but he knows where most of the grenades were located so it wasn't like he needed to spend really any time in focusing. But because you stop that attempted by charging, and my guy never really lost focus on his surroundings, he would have been really unable to do anything. If he didn't prepare for his last move which had his lightsaber in front of him, and the gun was already pointed at Ebb so all he had to do with that is pull the trigger so I don't that is unbelievable.

Sometimes I find it hard to believe that Jaleer can think so fast and make quick decisions in these situations. That's quite OP, even for a Jedi knight

@Boertjie Enough with the attitude. It's unwarranted and rude. I am not entering the thread. And per the parameters of the thread donned by the thread creator, the thread is death-disabled so Jaleer is safe from death (though that doesn't mean safe from harm).

He never gets the chance to use Valor, as Ebberla strikes at the point of 'taking a moment' as stated in the first paragraph:

Jaleer was not in a good spot stormtroopers had finally arrived and now he was surrounded, but he was a Jedi Knight so he was anything but defenseless, thankfully the pain in his back and the rest of his body wouldn't stop him from using the force. Extending his senses out an felt the grenades on the stormtroopers belts, an the grenades he placed on the top of the door near Ebberla, taking a moment to gather the force within him for a simple maneuver.

And it is not a simple maneuver, Jaleer is an 18 year old Knight, he certainly got his wings, but in order to divide his focus on two different directions simultaneously, its going to take definitely a moment or so for him to be able to feel such an intricate device. Even Jedi Masters have a difficult time dividing their attention on two different spots as you described.

Not to mention, given the proximity of where they are in the room (the center), it doesn't delve from the fact of the matter that Ebb uses a burst of speed, meaning the Force is aided in her very short jolt at him. How you are describing her 'charge' is how I am imagining anime characters run, which not even close to what she is doing.

Your character is not going to be very aware of his surroundings if he is focused on activating the grenades, he may be weary, but as I described above, his focus is divided, he may certainly react to hailing stun bolts into Ebb, but she is still going to be making contact and shock is going to set in very quickly for Jaleer.

Even if so, that would be a third thing he would need to focus on; which is a frequent misunderstanding among members that abilities such as those (valor) are treated like a game mechanic, ie: cast it, and it occurs for multiple rounds. However, that's not how it works in this type of RP and if your character is trying to improve his speed and accuracy (which may help Jaleer, but remember, this isn't Ebberla's first rodeo), how is this helping him sense Ebberla's attack when he is also focused on trying to activate gernades?

Well he never closed his eyes and would see that Ebberla is coming at him, and I understand that Valor could be considered video gamish but it has been used to explain how yoda is able to still move around so much. So it would help since he is paying more attention to his surroundings and would notice Ebberla sudden movement of running faster. (Im sure my logical is wrong but honestly, not the smartest person ask my GF.)

Dude. You're being attacked by someone so skilled and powerful she was the Jedi Grandmaster. She is coursing with the Dark Side, on her home turf, surrounded by a dozen or more stormtroopers. You are an exhausted, unskilled, freshly-minted 18 Year Old Jedi Knight. There isn't any alternate bubble universe where this results in anything besides death or capture for you. Due to the fact that this thread is no death, you luckily escape death. But there is no. way. for you to get out of this without capture and injury, let alone with Anara. Do the honorable thing Ben, stop fighting it, and just go down. Take it from someone who stretched the rules, everyone's patience, and RP physics to the extreme on multiple occasions to avoid death / capture. You can usually bargain and ask to live, etc, when you're captured. But man, don't fight it. Take it from my personal experience, it makes everyone think you're an ass and not want to write with you.

Its about telling a realistic logical story. And this, if he somehow escapes, is not one :/
