The reason the Jedi fell so quickly was because they were caught by surprise, if they had been prepared they might've survived
That's not entirely true. Yes many were taken by surprise, but even Ki-Adi-Mundi had enough of a warning to defend himself and was taken down, and he was a councilor. And let's not forget that many Jedi Masters and Knights who escaped initially were hunted down and killed by stormtroopers later when it wouldn't have been a surprise.

Also, don't forget about the Petranaki Arena where over 200 Jedi were whittled down to a handful by the laughably ineffectual battle droid. My point being, an outnumbered Jedi is at a severe disadvantage. So don't just assume you can survive because you're a Jedi with a lightwand. That arrogance is how most Jedi end up getting killed by random thugs with blaster pistols in the back in a dark alley.

I will however like to add that Darth Maul was far superior to an acolyte. So the analogy Prudii made there is inaccurate. But a Sith Acolyte and whole squad of semi-power armored stormtroopers is nothing to laugh at either.

To be fair, NPCs don't mean much in practical RP. Not saying they should be ignored entirely or anything, but try not to rely too heavily on them. The story's not about them, after all. Try to keep that in mind when you're writing.

Moral of the story is: storming the checkpoint agaon would be a very bad idea. Staying to fight would also probably be. I would seriously seriously recommend running.

Again both cases where Jedi were seriously out numbered and no cover, if you read the thread it wouldn't be too hard to defeat the stormtroopers but yes I do admit the combination would be difficult doesn't mean it will be impossible to defeat, considering my character both has cover and a blaster.

Not all the Jedi that were hunted didn't have cover. Ben, it would be near impossible to defeat both the Acolyte and the Stormtroopers, and 100% impossible to break into the garrison and take Anara. Just run. Please make this a lot simpler and run.

If the Force is so OP in canon and generic NPCs like the stormtroopers aren't supposed to have it in them to defeat any PC, why not fight your current battle and "call reinforcements" through the Force like they did in the dramatic "Call to Action" thread? In the movies jedi masters were taken out by six clones, but in KOTOR:II it's mentioned that Revan needed specialized hitsquads to ambush and defeat Jedi.

As long as you write it right, nothing is impossible.
