A Look into the Past and a Step Toward the Future- Midnight Men

Kyle waited in his office for the soldier, so he could start this man's training. Apparently this one was a psychometric, Kyle noticed reading the man's report which was in his right hand. Putting it back down on the desk Kyle, leaned back it his chair, resting his head on the banner, hanging on the wall. He drifted into thought, seeing how he would deal with this one, most Midnight Men, did not have any type force sensitivity and it would no doubt make the training more interesting. So leaning back onto his desk Kyle started to re-read Joran profile waiting for the man to come..

Joran rapped lightly at the door."You wanted to see me sir?"he asked the midnight man

"Yes, come in" Kyle replied to the soldier, leaning back in his chair, he paused for a moment and then continued. "Joran, I understand you wish to further advance in our ranks. That is good, you have ambition, but I need to know if you think yourself ready for our training. There is no turning back after saying yes."

"Yes, please understand that this isn't out of desperation or anything.but I have nowhere to go and no one to be loyal to.I know you have read my specs and you already know that I have no family or anyone waiting for me anywhere.So yes i do believe that I am ready

"Okay, that is all I needed to hear" Kyle responded. Meanwhile using the keypad under his desk to open the stairwell to his own personal training room. Walking down into the darkness he expected the soldier to follow, coming into a new room, he turned the lights on, dimly lighting the room. It was a follow stocked room of armor and weapons. When the soldier entered the room, he said, "Deposit all your weapons in the container next to you. Then pick one rifle, one hand-to-hand combat weapon, and one other weapon of your choice. Then follow me into the next room"

"Very well then." Joran replied.He took One of his cortosis daggers, a normal blaster rifle and a vibroblade for his hand to hand weapon."I am ready."Joran said

Walking into the training room it was shaped like a square each of the areas for a different part of the soldier's training. Walking into a distinct part he sat down on a bench near the combat ring. This part of the training was for close-combat only, he motioned for the soldier to stay in the ring. And before long an ASP droid walked into the ring with a vibrorapier. It was programmed specifically for fighting, and getting into its stance, it said in its cold metallic voice, "En Guard"

OOC:Sorry I have been gone for a few days.I was wih a friend of mine.


BIC:Joran drew his Cortosis dagger in his left hand and the vibrosword in is right.He drew into a defensivee stance so that he could better defend himself and guage his enemy.

Walking ominously closer to the man, it noted that that the weapon in his left hand was sufficiently shorter than the one in its right. Taking advantage of that it feinted to the man's right and then lunged to the man's left.

Joran saw the feint for what it was.He crossed with his right and got into a fencer's position deflecting the droid's vibrorapier.

 

[The Balance]

Its blade bouncing off the other man's, the droid used the momentum to arc it over the man's head and try to slash his right flank. Its blade gleaming under the light artificial light started to preform it maneuver with its right hand, and is it reached the highest point, it continued its movements, but at the same time it jabbed the man with its free hand.
