His eyes were shut, there was nothing to him but silence now. Silence and concentration, concentration on the room around him, concentration on the other Padawan. Another student of the same rank, of what was supposed to be the same skill level. This wasn't a deadly competition, no one's destiny was to be determined by the end of this fight, it was just a training duel between students to test what abilities they had and what they needed to work on and so Eaon's eyes were closed and his mind was silent and clear.
Eaon's mind was submerged deep within the confides of the Force, deep where he went to concentrate. It was like being bathed in a warm bath, completely comfortable and without the fear of suffocation. It was beautiful in one sense and natural all the same, but in another it was nature that was perhaps the most deadly thing of all. In this concentration he found peace, in this concentration Eaon let the force become his guide and even though his eyes were shut he could feel the other student.
The Force was a powerful ally and by the time the other Padawan ignited his Lightsaber, Eaon had already known it was coming. Eaon's eyes opened in a flash and with a quick twirl of his lightsaber's hilt Eaon had ignited the green beam of light and moved to parry the other student's attack. Even though they were just using training sabers Eaon could remember the wound Master Jiin had suffered at the hands of a Dark Jedi, Eaon took every second of his training completely seriously.
Eaon pushed back against the student, using his body weight to knock the student over and with a quick downward swing Eaon slashed the Student's shoulder. The Training saber didn't make a wound that would kill, it would burn a little though. With a smile Eaon turned off his saber and extended his hand to the student.
"You're getting a bit better, just remember your saber isn't your only weapon." Eaon said as he pulled the student to his feet and stood back. Eaon was willing to go again, but he wasn't so sure if his Colleague was, Eaon really wished there was someone else he could do battle with. Although he and the student had the same rank, Eaon's ability to do combat was a tad bit better due to the amount of effort Eaon put into it, on top of that Eaon couldn't use all of his core powers when fighting this student as he was still a bit younger and didn't know them as well.
