The vast swamps of Mimban seemed to Stretch on for eternity. Chi had been wandering deeper into them for nearly an hour, and the improvised landing platforms still weren't in sight. Her backpack filled with only what was necessary, she had make a haste escape before any of the other Jedi awoke or came back from their missions and meditation. Her whole stay on Mimban had been a complete waste, and having to strode through the wet mud and pits added nicely to the experience. The planet was the perfect place to let her former self die.
Slowly, but hardly, a white shine emanated through the fog, singling her that day had now truly approached, and making her swallow. Had it gone her way, she would have been far of the planet by now, but without the use of the force walking through these wetlands had turned out rather lengthy, and exhausting. Yet she believed that it was wiser to keep her force hidden, fearing that the dark side could be felt. Instead of using the force to ease her walk and clear her path, she cloaked herself with it and stumbled on. At the very least, it was training.
Whist walking, she had a constant lookout over her shoulder, always looking for a possible pursuer, always fearing her Master could have been found by the remaining Jedi. She prayed to force that her Master's remains would spent a few hours undisturbed and unnoticed in her locker, yet she could not count on look, only on facts. And the only facts concerning her now was that she had murdered a men, and left him amongst three of his friends. She shuddered at the thought of the others. Would they show mercy if they caught her?
When she stumbled onto a clearing, the white gleam around her finally bright enough to see ones surroundings, her heart skipped a beat. Of all possible scenarios, meeting this familiar face here, in the middle of nowhere by pure chance had not been among them. She almost reached for her sabre, an inner surge to strike at the Jedi before he noticed her presence almost overwhelming her, but she managed to hold herself back. She had hardly slept and walked far to long, to pose any danger to an older and more experienced colleague, and the chance that she would be noticed even if she managed the murder somehow was far too high. She would have to resolve this her way. With a put on smile, and feigned self-assuredness she stepped deeper into the clearing. "Hello Master, what a coincidence to meet you here"
