Almost every single cosmetics ad out there has terrible dubbing, I can guarantee it.

You get confronted with this a lot if you listen to metal, especially the more extreme genres like black and death metal. There are just some guys who sing with an extremly high pitched scream for the whole five minutes of a song and in an interview their voice is as low as you've ever heard in you life. An example is Gaahl from Gorgoroth.

Another example is me, I've been doing a fake low voice for years. It started because my mother was and still is half deaf when I was kid and couldn't hear high pitches and as a three/ four year old kid you tend to have a higher pitched voice than a cat in a fight. So I put a low voice when talking to her, and I kept it, and eventually I'd wake up every day and actually try and have to remember what voice was real and what wasn't by around grade six or so I had forgotten. I'd talk in an extremely low voice to teachers and parents and a slightly higher pitched voice when with friends. I haven't been in the same voice range of a kid since grade two.

Aw man, that makes me a sad panda :(

The simple fact that I hate the whole scream to sing idea kinda deters me away from it >.>

What's that metal band with the female screamer who sounds just like a bloke? That's quite a good example.

Arch Enemy is one I can name off the top of my head, however there are a few more out there, I'll try and dig them up.
