Mission Pack Goal: Square K-4 Conquer

MISSION ONE:
Spelunking for Charity
Although Dantooine has no official ties to the Jedi, rumors of kyber crystals had drawn them to the planet for a few decades. Some have claimed there are caves on the planet giving access deeper into the planet's crust where crystals form that are ideal for Lightsaber crafting. These lightsaber crystals are sought after by many Jedi who either fail their gathering at Ilum or wish for another blade. Locals on Dantooine are normally simple farmers, ranchers, or working people of another type. They cannot afford to put aside their work to create mines on the hope of finding wealth that may not be there. Your mission is to search any caves you can find in the area for solid proof of crystals. Help the locals establish a stable mining tunnel to benefit both us and them.

MISSION TWO:
Peaceful Plains under siege
Settlements on Dantooine are simple, with almost no defenses in place against raiders. Most defenses are small blaster turrets or even a rancher with a crude rifle watching for Kath hounds or Kinrath. Even the largest settlement on the planet with the small spaceport is poorly defended. As Jedi have been a casual presence on the world recently and the local government has asked for their consult on improving defenses planet-wide. A small group of Jedi were sent to meet with the people of Dantooine as they could not afford a whole party due to the ongoing war. Yet while they spoke, trouble was already brewing in the once peaceful plains near the capital.

MISSION THREE:
Ain't nothing but a hound dog
One of the only things Dantooine is known for in the galaxy at large is the Kath Hound. It is a large hound that has shown a large tendency for aggression. They are great for arenas, war scenarios, and make good guards if you can tame them. In the wilds of Dantooine they are untame, aggressive, and dangerous. Even the local defenses designed to keep them out often fail and a hound will kill cattle, pets, and sometimes people. One settlement has been plagued by dysfunctional defenses and the death of many children. They have requested help from the government who has asked us to help.

MISSION FOUR:
Making Bank
While most of the rim was considered poor or at the very least lagging behind in the progress being made at the heart of the Republic in the core, Muunilinst was an exception. The Muun were famous for being money smart and had built up some of the largest banks in the Galaxy. During the time of peace they had no issue defending themselves with their small bank-funded frigates. As war approaches the Galaxy is no longer as predictable and safe. The statisticians know they must choose a side before they are taken by force to come out on top. While the Republic seems content to remain inactive in these times, the Jedi will step forward to defend the Muun (and their credits). A friendship here could mean more funding for the Jedi war effort which would mean an easier victory. Whether or not the Sith try to step forward, or another party, is yet to be seen. Go to Muunilinst and convince the bank leaders that backing the Jedi is the best choice. If you get a chance to defend them, show them our strength.

MISSION FIVE:
Promise of a Future
Our casual relationship with the people of Dantooine has grown over the years as Jedi seem drawn to it. Many of the locals call on us for help with everyday tasks both big and small. They have begun to count on us for advice and defense. It seems a more permanent outpost and relationship is the next step. Looking into the future we can feel nothing but good vibes on this planet. We are hopeful it will become a safe place for Jedi to gather both during and after the war. Establish a military outpost on the plains near the capital city. We can use this as a midway point in our push forward. A refuel station and place of refuge. Clear the Kinrath from the plotted area and finalize the land plot. The desired location seems to have a large hive of Kinrath in a local cave. Those things breed like crazy, clean them out enough so we can at least build our base.
