Biography

Adun was born into a wealthy family on Corellia. Unknown to his family he was force sensitive. When he was four years old his parents had booked a shuttle to enjoy a vacation on the planet of Balmorra. While the shuttle was entering the atmosphere the engines suddenly cut off.

As the pilots attempted to maintain control, the vessel suddenly exploded as a rolling ball of fire swept through the passenger cabins killing nearly everyone. In a final act of love Adun’s parents shielded him from the explosion, which saved his life, but cost his parents their own. The pilots managed to land in one of the space ports, but by the time they did only Adun was the survivor. He suffered heavy burns from the left side of his face down to his shoulder, and his left arm had to be removed, to this day he still suffers from trauma from the incident. The child spent nearly three weeks in a coma before coming to.

Upon being told the fate of his parents the poor child was in shock, and to his horror could not recall anything prior to the accident. With no other relatives to take him in, Adun was adopted by one of a Twi’Lek Doctor M’iarta Umari who oversaw his care. The good doctor gave the boy a cybernetic limb and taught him the basics of medical care. One of M’iartas associates, a former jedi healer by the name of Le'orna Tera, an older human woman, found the child was force sensitive and, after persuading M’iarta, provided him with basic force training which was done in absolute secret. Upon reaching the age of fifteen Adun began to attend flight school and scored highly on many of the tests, becoming one of the top students in the program and graduating at the age of eighteen. One day upon returning from school one day, Adun found that his adopted mother was missing, leaving only a thousand credits and a note urging him to start a new life. Thinking quickly he sought out his mentor Tera, but found that she too was missing. Finding that once again everything in his life was gone, Adun booked a shuttle off his adopted world and set out for a new life, hoping to find those he cared for somewhere in the future.

Being dropped off on the planet Tatooine, Adun attempted to stop an assassination, and encountered newly appointed Jedi Knight Jaleer Reukli and Rayla Natu a force sensitive Tortuga. After a rather chaotic first encounter, Adun and Rayla became students of the young knight, and joined the Jedi Order. On his first mission to Naboo, Adun encountered a young force sensitive human by the name of Jack Endel and a familiar looking Togruta padawan named Anara. After a rather troubling start, the pair purchased a shuttle and attempted to return back to the jedi. Disaster struck when the ships navi computer attempted to plot a course into the planet Sullest. Only the quick thinking of Jack and Adun along with pure luck did they manage to crash land on the planet.The trio managed to escape, after being assaulted by a group of hostile scavengers. Though none of them were armed, Adun snapped and brutally murdered the attackers. Though he came back to his senses, the violent murder still sits at the back of his mind.
During one night, he suffered a horrific vision of his master and mother fleeing from imperials. He attempeted to leave the fleet alone, but was stoped by Rayla. Seeing as how he could not get her to let him go alone, he brought her with him to Balmorra. Upon investigation of his homeworld, he discovered the severely mutalated bodies of his loved ones, sending him into a fit of rage. Rayla managed to calm him before he could act on it, but he harbors a deep hatred for imperials.After completing a few missions with his friends, Adun started to realize that he was developing feelings for Rayla. While he had a chance to finally express how he felt, he instead walked away from her as he was terrified about what this new relationship could mean for both of them. Unknown to both padawans however, is that Rayla unintentionally formed a mental link between the two, but due to Adun's mental defenses it is only active while Adun is asleep.

Personality

Adun is a friendly and helpful character. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and if he spots something he dislikes he can react quite strongly against it. He dislikes when people stare at his prosthetic arm or his scars, as it makes him feel uncomfortable. He also does not share his inner thoughts with others, as he has issues with trust, but once one gains it, it is kept. Adun is respectful to his superiors and wishes to be a help to anyone who needs it. He also loves talking about starships and racing with others. Underneath his kind and friendly behavior, lays a young man who is looking for something to fill the void that his tragic past has created.

Attributes and Ablities

STRENGTH: Adun is far stronger than most humans being able to lift around 300 lbs. He is able to do partly due to his cybernetic left arm. 7/10

DEXTERITY: Adun is able to maneuver decently for someone his size, but is unable to squeeze or slip through narrow passages. He can also trip over himself if he reacts to something to fast. 4/10

CONSTITUTION: Adun is surprisingly tough despite the tough life he had lived. He is almost never sick, and exercises regularly. When he needs to he can push through if it makes the difference between helping his friends. 6/10

INTELLIGENCE: Adun is knowledgeable about starships and their functions. He can understand Ryl, and even knows a little of the language. His adopted mother and teacher also taught him basic medical care. He also looks for creative ways to solve issues. 5/10

WISDOM: Adun tries to be understanding and kind as he can, but unfortunately can be pushed too far despite his great patience. He is a good listener and desires to help others, but has no tolerance for injustice. 6/10

CHARISMA: Adun is rather shy and keeps to himself. He usually only talks around those he feels comfortable with, and tries to hide his prosthetic limb the best he can, as he feels him uncomfortable when others stare at it. 4/10

Abilities

STRENGTHS
Adun is very strong physically.

He is a good listener and loves to help others.
Always looking for creative solutions.
A highly skilled pilot.
Can treat basic ailments and injuries.
Knows some melee combat.
His mental defenses are stronger than most, as he is forced to suppress haunting memories on a daily basis.
WEAKNESSES
His cybernetics require maintenance daily.
Has trouble fitting in.
Has no tolerance for things that go against his morality.
Is prone to give into his anger if provoked.
Has nightmares from time to time about his accident or the fate of his teacher and adopted mother.

Though his mental defenses are strong, if they do break he has been known to go into one of his episodes and his behavior becomes erratic.
Is not very agile.
Has attachment issues, due mostly to losing many of his loved ones without warning. As such he will defend his friends and family to the end, with little regard for his life.

FORCE POWERS:

Telekinetic powers- 3/10 knows the basics and can apply them.
Force Jump- 4/10 Adun can use this to help him leap great lengths and heights, he still hasn't managed to get all the kinks out of his technique though.
Force Healing- 4/10 After having to use the power multiple times now, Adun is starting to get the hang of it. Unfortunately he suffers from the after effects of it
Force Inspire- 1/10 Adun had seen his master preform this power on some of the war veterans that visited her. Though he does not know what the power is exactly, nor can he use it at all as he lacks even the basic knowledge of its use. He hopes to one day master it and be able to help others much like his teacher had.
Force Sense- 5/10 Adun has improved his technique significantly to the point he can use it with ease.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:

His training with Tera allowed him to practice only the basics of melee combat. As such he knows the fundamentals of wielding a lightsaber, and is only a novice in the use of Soresu.

Skills:

Able to repair and upkeep key starship parts. Speaks basic, and can understand most of Ryl, and can speak enough to get by. Practiced in hand to hand combat. Knows how to wield melee weapons fairly well. Knows how pilot vehicles remarkably well. Also knows basic first aid inside and out, and can provide basic consulting if needed.

Gear: Black Tench coat, Black Garments, Cybernetic left arm, toolbox contain supplies for his arm, personal data pad, and Purple lightsaber, made from the hilt of his Master’s vibroblade.

Hi, friendly neighborhood Jedi application reviewer here, do you intend on RPing out your character finding the Jedi? Or did you want them to find them in the backstory? The Order is currently in hiding after being hunted by the Sith for past 10+ years or so, so it's not exactly that easy to find them. Also, do you think you could lower his Force abilities by a point or two? We generally like new Padawans only knowing the basics like sense, telekinesis, jump, and such at around a 3/10 or less. This is to provide plenty of growth for the character and let them RP learning things and getting better at them. When you get around to this tag me and I'll take a look. Thanks
