Please use this thread for dice rolling for attacks and evasions.
For the purpose of this thread, let's use a d20. 10+ will be successful to varying degrees, with a natural roll of 20 being a critical hit (I will describe just how critical the hit is in my posts as DM), with a 9- being a failure to varying degrees, with a natural roll of 1 being a critical fail (to be described by me in my DM posts.)
If you both would say your characters are skilled at piloting, I will allow you both to have a 2+ modifier to affect your rolls. Although for the sake of the RP, a natural roll of 1 always is a critical fail.
As far as your npc opposition is concerned, the squad leader will have a modifier of +3 with the other two pilots having a modifier of +3 only while the squad leader remains alive. If/When he is taken out, the rest of the squad reverts to a +2. Once there is only one fighter remaining, he will only have a +1. Note that this is just for the npcs. In the event one of you guys is taken out of the fight, it will not affect your modifier.
