Apollo Korithes survives both his wife and son, killed in a tragic accident which Apollo blames on the Sith Empire. A man of simple tastes and humble ambition, Apollo was content with his station in life for many years, until it was all ripped away from him. Now he is a somber man, grit and intolerant. Apollo is best described as a man of actions and not words, a man who has taken up the blaster to resist the Empire and exact his revenges upon the would-be stewards of his world.

For much of his life, Apollo's drives could be broken down into three fundamental categories: family, work, hobbies - in that order of significance. Apollo was nothing if not a dedicated father. At times he was strict, and yet at others he was a caring and generous man who gave of himself without question. With work, Apollo operated a small shuttle service, and dedicated himself to being punctual and providing the best service. He tried to find joy in his work, entertaining children and families, making small talk with recurring customers. But the life of a shuttle pilot meant long hours, meager pay, and the burden of maintenance costs for his ship weighed heavily on his expenses and patience. To escape this stress, Apollo followed a unique philosophy: "do something new every week." He felt that most people failed to live their lives, resulting in lasting regret, all because they dedicated themselves to repetitive regimens and falling into bad habits. Why come home from work to surf the holonet for hours on end every day - was it really fulfilling? No, Apollo knew, and so he was always searching for new things to try, places to take his family, cuisines to experiment with. Apollo ensured that he was a busy man, and that even his free time was well spent. He vowed from an early age that he'd never live a life of regret, and that he'd never have to write a bucket list.

Five years ago, however, Apollo's life changed. His wife and boy were killed in an incident Apollo himself refuses to discuss. Everyone who knows him now simply believes him when he says that the Empire is to blame. Those who remember who he had been before the Sith conquest would say that, regardless of what had happened, he had changed drastically. He had been one of the few people who was truly content with life. His friends would have readily pointed to him when asked to give an example of happiness. Now, Apollo's drives have changed significantly. Where one might expect them to have simplified into one, pure goal - such as revenge - Apollo motivations have diversified further. He is fueled by a burning hatred for the Sith, for the Empire, and for everything they stand for. He is dedicated to his friends and comrades, regardless of his personal connections with them, and feels a sense of duty in protecting them. He is a man lost within his own mind, prone to drift between bouts of inappropriate humor, grim despondency, and a seething self-loathing. He stands for ideals; ideals he firmly believes will be for the greater good of the Galaxy, and acknowledges the sins he must commit to achieve them. Yet, quietly, Apollo cannot confess to imagine himself living in such a world. For Apollo, he has all but physically died, and this thought plagues him constantly.

    • Freedom - Chains are meant to be broken, as are those who would forge them.
    • Respect - People deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
    • Greater Good - Our lot is to lay down our lives in the defense of others.

    • I protect those who cannot protect themselves.
    • Someone I loved died because of a mistake I made. That will never happen again.
    • No one else should have to endure the hardships I've been through.

    • I have acquired several vices to help settle my nerves, and find it difficult to stay relaxed in stressful situations without them.
    • I do my best to avoid serious conversations, and when I cannot, I carefully plan the words I deliver.
    • Innocent people are dead because of actions I have committed, and I am okay with that.
