No way, Tom Brady is a little cry baby. He gets the most "roughing the passer" penalty calls because he's such a good actor. Forgive me Patriots fans.

Yeah I gave you the benefit of the doubt, BN, as it seemed you were saying the exact opposite of what the rest of these jokers were. And you also brought up a good point. Sports entail injury. I've gotten concussions, etc and had a torn ACL. None of these were permanently debilitating but watching sports is certainly an outlet to this passion of mine and one in which (considering my baby on the way) I will probably have to partake in more often.

Bubbles: True, but I tend to give him a pass on that for being roughly as bad (though slightly worse) than some of the other big names (the Manning siblings on the other hand are stand-up guys.) Mind you, I reserve my hatred more for the Pats. A storied franchise, but also one which tends to buy its way to victory and generally is the NY Yankees of the football world.

Thank you. And indeed you will, as a newborn is really going to test your patience in ways I'm sure I cannot imagine till the day I become a father(assuming it comes).
Anywho, I'm half using this thread as an update type thing as I have been out of watching football the last year or two, really wanting to get back into it this year, though it'll be hard of I'm rooting for my home state team(Tennessee Titans).

You forgot about the blood sacrifices. Baal has truly blessed Peyton of Manning.

Ah, that explains it. Next time, the Steelers should do their sacrifice to Moloch. Should solve that problem. Then they shall reign supreme over all the other football teams and then become gods and win every superbowl ever.

I don't understand the anti-football stuff here. I don't care much for soccer, but I don't go into threads saying I don't get how people can watch two teams kick balls left and right into nets.

As for the exercise problem: I still fail to see why people can't sit down for a few hours and watch a game and then exercise the next day. If there is any complaint about people sitting in front of the screen all day not getting exercise, the focus should immediately be turned towards people that sit for hours on end playing Call of Duty Copypasta #54827: Modern Lamefare screaming into microphones at people no more than ten states away.

At least athletes do encourage people to go exercise even if they are paid to say it. I don't see Infinity Ward popping up a message saying "Do some pushups fatty, then you can play a few more matches" on their games. No siree.

Poetic justice. Some Americans rag on union workers. We get sub-par replacements by non-union workers.

Scott Walker and Paul Ryan both want the real refs back.

Irony = lost.

The Packers got ****ed there is no doubt about it.

But football 101: Never go for a pick on a Hail Mary, swat that ball to the ground.

I learned that in Pop Warner.

So my Broncos tore apart the Raven. Flacco was... well, make your own pun here.

Now watching the Patriots-49ers. Holy shit, Tom Brady is having an off day.
