There is something deeply unsettling about The Tortured Man, he radiates with darkness to such a degree that many find it unsettling, combined with the smooth visage of the bone line mask he always wears which seems stained with blood like tears he presents an unpleasant appearance to those onlookers.
He is always dressed in fine clothing and shrouded with a black light weight hooded coat, the materials of all of his garments appear to have resistances to chemical and fire as well as providing some limited protection from blasters.
The Tortured Man carries himself with the grace of a dancer light on his feet with almost an ethereal quality, he is thin for a man of his height, many would say gaunt and sickly but his strength undermines that perception for he is little more that muscle mass carry virtually no excess weight to him, rarely seen eating or drinking he seems to thrive of the power of the force alone.
The Truth is far more sinister for The Tortured Man is in fact an Anzat, and possesses the feeding tendrils that are common with his species, the mask he wears seems to sustain him somewhat a result of the experiments undertaken on him during the time of the last empire but it does not completely nourish him and he still has the need to feed, less frequently than others of his species but the act of removing his mask to feed is often the last thing his enemies witness before their ultimate demise.
The Tortured Man is force sensitive his body radiates dark energy, his abilities in the force are primarily in the mental field, reading thoughts, taking over minds, causing fear and irrational terror in his enemies, he is able to exploit an opponents greatest fears against them manifesting illusions and magics to change his battle field, but that is not his only mastered field he is also able to manipulate the force to protect himself with force barriers and is able dissipate energies such as blasters and powers similar to force lightning with his bare hands.
Beyond his force abilities the Tortured Man is a skilled pilot, possessing his own personalised star fighter he based off the Zoist Hunter and while it is heavily personalised to his needs it does not deviate from the standard Hunter armaments or base design but features the addition of stabilizer foils for greater maneuverability which allow the fighter to make tighter turns than the standard Zoist hunter.
The Tortured Man is a skilled hunter showing an uncanny ability to track down prey with unnerving accuracy even over great distances.
It is also known that the Tortured Man is a acrobat displaying a natural talent before any enhancement, this may explain his dancers grace but it is speculated that before his time within the Sith Empire that he was in fact an entertainer of some skill.
As an Anzant his natural strength and and agility along with his vigor and endurance are flexible if he has recently fed his natural physique can far exceed that of a highly athletic human where as if a long period of time has passed between meals he is more physique is more akin to that of a regular trained human.
No one is quite sure of the Tortured Man's origins he first appeared in the heyday of the Old Empire prior to the fall in service to Lord Scillia and fought during the last war it was assumed that he had perished along with Lord Scillia and his conclave of fanatics but he has recently reappeared upon the streets of Korriaban, stalking and wandering as if lost in old memories.
The little information in records about him speaks of a victim of Scillia's experiments to create the perfect assassin, a creature single mindedly obsessed with death and destruction, to be unleashed upon his masters enemies to lay waste without mercy, there are further reports that suggest the he was a abject failure in that regard and was kept by Scillia in the role of man servant, what ever the truth is The Tortured Man does not an will not speak of it, he has shown open disdain for the the New Sith Order and has instead allied himself with the Sacred Band of Zoist.
The Tortured Man uses a pair of matching Lightsabers their core material is constructed from a Phrik alloy surrounded by rancor rangs cleaned and shaped into to the grips. both blades a red in colour.
Alongside these the Tortured Man carries an abundance of blades and other weapons, including a pair of snub nosed blasters and a collection of grenades.
