Imperial Bounties & Hit List
Ash-Teared Doctor, Crocodile
Description: Crocodile is a Gungan doctor stationed at Naboo. He was recently discovered to be stealing drugs from the pharmacy there and selling them on the black market, along with several engineered strains of the Blue Shadow Virus. The Blue Shadow Virus' destruction has priority over Crocodile's capture.
Notes: Hazard suits are adviseable. Crocodile has been known to smoke, so it's unlikely he'll release any viruses in the same room he is in.
Recommended Hunters: Scientists, armored soldiers with filters.
Last Sighting: Crocodile was last seen fleeing into the Naboo jungles.
Proof: Retrieve Crocodile's lighter.
Difficulty: Average
Otoh Mendassa was, she thought, not the most enjoyable place she’d ever been before. Where was the conflict, the danger? Where were the huge, man-eating monsters lumbering out of the surrounding jungle to attack and maim and kill. No excitement here! No thrill at having to fight for your life! Oh well, she’d been tasked with dealing with the recalcitrant Gungan doctor, Crocodile – at least, that was the name he used in dealings with humans and other non-Gungans –and deal with him she would. Permanently.
The architecture, all organic-looking curves with hardly a straight line to be seen, was unusual, but Taia wasn’t here to study Gungan building techniques; she had a meeting to attend, one that could get very messy, very quickly, if those she was contacting decided to cause trouble. Not that she was particularly afraid of them doing so - she'd come prepared. All she had to do was wait ...
The man approaching her looked like so many manual workers on Naboo; rough-hewn, stubbly, heavily built and dressed in somewhat faded and worn clothing. The sort of person who doesn’t excite any notice from anyone else, as there are so many of them around, the sort of person the better-off look down on as ‘just manual workers’. An excellent disguise to those who want to be overlooked, such as this man. He grunted at her and turned to leave. She wasn't offended by his abrupt actions; she'd been expecting little else. Sliding from the low wall she'd been sitting on, she followed the man, acting as if she didn't notice the two men who came from the crowd and started trailing them both.
The course she was led to the meeting place was long and torturous, winding back and forth, sometimes doubling back on itself, cutting through grubby alleyways and down busy thoroughfares. Obviously, they were trying to make her confused and lost, but they might as well not have bothered; after years of following trails through dark and dripping swamps the blonde could easily remember a trail perfectly after using it once; she knew exactly where she was, and was getting a good idea of where they were leading her.
After half an hour of wandering, they arrived at their destination; a rundown building on the outskirts of town, the windows broken in, dirty and abandoned. How many goons will he have with him? Will they try anything, or be satisfied with the deal? Time to find out. She ignored the thug patting her down with a salacious leer on his face and walked in.
"No weap'ns on 'er, boss!"
"I gathered that, idiot! So, now you're here!" The man leaning against the wall pushed himself off and walked over to her, the two guards either side flanking him, the one she'd been led by, the frisker and the one trailing her bringing up the rear. Six of them, hmm, I'll have to move fast if they try anything ...
She tucked her fingers into her belt and waited for the man to continue ...
