So, will I be able to retain my character's age for now? It seems a little odd for me to let her go (especially when she's relatively knew due to my absence) age so fast. The four years would put her at 17, and it seems odd that 15 year olds would have more proficiency in Force and Lightsaber arts. My character doesn't even -have- a lightsaber yet.

If it's a generally -new- character, I think I remember a post suggesting that the character could be put on hold until the time skip, not really losing the four years. If they're not connected to any other character plots or the story line, or even gone through training yet, I don't see the harm in doing so. You'd have to double check with the admin staff, of course.

Just out of extreme curiosity, when the time skip takes place, since it's a war emphasized around the Dark Jedi, what are you going to call the time skip? Continue with the Hutt War banner, or go with something like:

Dark Times
Dark Wars
The Looming Darkness
Edge of Night
Eclipsing Light
Dark Force Rising (Yes, that's a nod to Tim Zahn)

That's in the write up. The war we're in now is the First Hutt War. After the time skip, it'll be the Second Hutt War. The entire timeline as a whole will be the Great Hutt Wars.

While the Bogan does militarize and become an empire, the main focus is on the Hutt Empire, whom the Bogan Empire support.

You know, if the Hutts and Bogan were to win over the Republic and Jedi, I wouldn't be surprised to see a war break out between Hutts and Bogan. Would make for an interesting continued timeline.

I don't exactly like this idea, my padawan char is looking for a master, if we skipped 4 years, I'd still not have a master and I'd be 23, so the council might concider branching me off, if they hadn't already in the 4 years
