'A planet of water...how lovely,' he thought to himself, hovering over the large span of water without even using the Force. Psychokinesis was so useful at times like this and the only city of the entire planet was nearby in the distance. Sakiharu had come here out of his own pleasure, seeing a place like this and seeing how himself and his foe...Avare...would be fighting in the city unless he wanted to fight here over clear, open water. Which would give Sakiharu many different advantages but seeing as how its an anything goes match, seems until one of them admits defeat or is knock senseless. Sakiharu could tell one thing though. If Avare got wet, he was going to be meet with a full force of lightning. But enough with the thoughts, Sakiharu needed to find the guy if he was in the city. Flying upward with ease above the water, his elevation soon became three stories high as he headed toward the city. Who knows how this match would go...Sith Knight against Jedi Knight. Sakiharu was actually looking forward to it.

Avare' slowly made his way to the edge of a platform, one of the hundreds of platforms that made up Alto City. Looking around he began to wonder why the Grand Tournament would take place here, at least one of the battles that is, it was supposed to be a neutral world. Shrugging the thought aside he took in a deep breath and let the breeze hit his face, while doing this he caught a glimpse of his opponent. Sakiharu Dir Kurota... a Sith Knight staring up at this levitating figure his eyes fell back to the water. It was apparent he would have to keep away from the water as the Sith would have the advantage... how could he do such a feat.? Backing off the edge of the platform he made his way to the center of it, trying to put himself as far away from the edge as possible.

With the wind passing by his ears, he could see a figure although to this distance, it was little more than a dot. Enhancing his eye sight with the Force, he could now see much better as to who the figure was. Avare, no doubt. He was on a large platform, one of many in this city. He was moving by the time he saw Avare, appearing to go toward the middle of the platform and away from the water. A nice thought but just because he's away from the water, doesn't mean he can't use the place to his own advantage. As the rules say, anything goes.

Within a few more minutes of flying through the air, Sakiharu landed smoothly near the edge of the platform, his arms relaxed at his sides. His dark red eyes were staring at Avare's figure but Sakiharu made no movement just yet to be going near him. He, like Avare, had no idea what their foe was able to do and charging head first wasn't Sakiharu's idea. Instead, he just smiled at Avare, crossing his arms in front of him. "I take it you're Avare, yes?" he asked. A little conversation wouldn't hurt, would it?

The Jedi watched as the dark figure drew closer and closer, the dark aura only getting larger as Sakiharu neared. This Sith seemed smarter than other he had encountered, most would have just went right to the fight. Nodding to the Sith he gave him a slight bow, not out of respect, but courtesy.

"Yes, I am Avare' you're Sakiharu I presume then?"

The Jedi Knight's hands were hidden within the arms of his baggy black cloak. If anyone were watching they would more than likely suspect it were 2 Sith meeting in this battle, and not two of opposing factions. Reaching from their covered position his hand removed the hood from his covered face. The icey blue eyes staring back into the oppositely colored dark red hues of his foe. His hands once again slid into the arms of his cloak and he took in a deep breath, trying to collect any lightside energy from the area he could.

"Fight till a surrender or knockout then? Anything else is legal..."

Avare's choice of clothes made Sakiharu very curious in this man. Either the man just like the choice of them to his own fashion style or there was a reason for them due to either a past...or something else. No matter, he pushed the thought out of his mind, watching the man speak. "Yes," answering to Avare's first question about if he was Sakiharu. The hidden arms within the cloak made him cautious. Within Sakiharu's position, he loved using the unknown against an enemy. Fighting it though, he hated it. You never know what one may have, from blaster to lightsaber. It was always just so...annoying. He was a Jedi Knight, so must be very skilled in one skill or another. As to what it was, he wouldn't know just yet. For the moment though, he would watch...wait....think. It was Sakiharu's way to be wary when he could be and attack only when he knew he could very well win. Against this Knight though...winning wasn't going to happen so likely. "Till surrender or knockout. Anything goes," he said, answering Avare's second question. It wasn't much use to hide anything you could touch from this man because he didn't have much to hide on him. Grabbing his lightsaber from his side with his right hand, he held it to the side, leaving it unignited. Sakiharu might attack first...he might not. It just...depended....as he watched Avare silently.

Watching the Sith grab his Lightsaber, his weapon. Avare responded by letting his cloak fall to the ground behind him with a soft thud, the cloak looked much lighter than it reall was. Reaching to his own right he withdrew his own Lightsaber, his tool. He could almost guarantee that this Sith before him knew much of their deadly ways, of attack and slaughter. Though Avare' knew much of the defensive techniques the Jedi taught, looking around slowly the water was the key to this planet, though how to use it? Falling back to Form II, Makashi he knew that would be best to start things off as it was strong against other Force wielders. At the given time he would ignite his lightsaber and begin, though now he stared back at his opponent...

(The post is a bit vague at the end. Do you mean he ignited his lightsaber and went into a Makashi stance?)

Sakiharu raised an eyebrow at Avare, some what interested in the stance he took. Sakiharu has studied the lightsaber forms very well, though not learned how to use all of the basics of them and noticed that Avare was in a Makashi stance. An interesting opening indeed. Very well....Makashi against Makashi...' he thought to himself, also taking a Makashi stance that mirrored Avare's. Like Avare, he didn't ignite his lightsaber. Instead, he just waited, watched and listened.

Though trained not to be the user to attack first he would be breaking that rule now. Afterall most Jedi wouldn't approve of him even being in the tournament anyways. Watching as Sakiharu also take a stance of Makashi it caused Avare' to change his own stance, to his better trained form, Djem So. Taking focus he used the Force to leap with tremendous speed forwards at the Sith Knight before him. Midway through the air his lightsaber ignited the blue blade hissing to life with a flash. Bringing the blade over his head with both hands on the hilt he combined the force of his jump with the power of his arms and core muscles. Aiming the blade to bring the it down at the Sith's right shoulder with enough force to make a Mandalorian cringe.

When Avare switched to Djem So, Sakiharu also switched to it, matching his stance as well. Watching Avare leap toward him with the Force aiding him, he thought for a second he was also an Ataru user, making it three forms he knew. But Sakiharu concluded that it was just a leap, not an Ataru move in of itself. Seeing as how he was the one jumping, Sakiharu would jump as well. Using the Force to increase his speed only, Sakiharu watched and saw the attack aiming for his right shoulder. Seeing this, Sakiharu moved to the left enough to avoid the strike and in the same movement, he jumped over Avare, flipping forwards. In the same movement, he made a stabbing strike to lightly wound Avare's right shoulder in the back. If it worked or not, he couldn't say as he soared through the air, landing on his feet smoothly before turning around to face Avare. Quickly, he took the stance of his own style, Sairento Urufu, the blade pointing toward Avare's body.

Watching as his opponent gracefully dodged his own attack Avare' foreseen the comming attack from the flip. It was nothing spectacular just an attack to render his left arm and shoulder wounded, maybe even unable to be used from pain. As Sakiharu flipped through the air Avare' stayed low to the ground, as low as he could get causing the blade to just graze his Jedi Robes. The result was a hole in the left shoulder of the clothing.

Standing as Sakiharu turned and pointed the blade at him, Avare' examined the form, what was it? Pushing the thought aside he took a step back with his dominant left foot. Bending his knees he brought his arms up and pointed his own saber back at Sakiharu ready to defend against whatever the Sith had comming.

(Final stance is that of Revan on the bridge before Malak's turbo lasers waste him)

(If you look at Sakiharu's profile and go down it, you can see the style he is using. Plus, the opening stance is pretty simular to the stance Revan used on his ship and stuff)

A lightsaber fight was indeed interesting...although that wasn't the only thing he could do. He waited silently with a smirk on his face before focusing the Force to increase the power of his body, launching forward and meeting Avare's blade with a few Djem So strikes before suddenly circling him, continuing the attack during the rotation.

The defensive stance he held allowed his lightsaber to absorb the oncomming barage of attacks. Swatting each of the strikes aside he simply turned with Sakiharu and continued to block the incomming attacks. Calling upon the Force he focused the incomming energy to his legs and lept backwards with a subtle flip. Upon landing he called upon the Force once again, this time the energy was directed towards Battle Meditation.

The powerful Force Power enriched his mind and muscles with Lightside energy, strengthening himself in nearly all aspects. Glaring across at the Sith he once again called upon the Force, this final call was in Force Blindness. A flash resonated from his hand bright enough to cause temporary blindness. Upon completion of the Force power he lept forward at Sakiharu swinging his lightsaber from left to right in a downward motion with all the power in his body he could muster. The attack was directed at the Sith's chest.

'He's good,' Sakiharu noted to himself before stopping his attacks once Avare flipped over Sakiharu. This was starting to get a little bit more interesting as seconds went by, raising his lightsaber in the form of an Ataru stance. The battle meditation was one thing but the Force Blindness was another. Unable to stop the flash from reaching his eyes, he could only close them as he was blinded by the attack. Using his Force increased senses, he was able to feel around him the attacks that were coming and parried accordingly. Parrying a swift number of them with slightly tiring him down, little by little but the blindness was a problem, his senses stretching to the limit. Using Force Push upon Avare to send him backwards, Sakiharu jumped backwards and landed passed the doorway of the doors to the plateform. He heard in the background a language he didn't understand but guessed that it was the language native to the planet. What Sakiharu did know though that even if he didn't understand what they were saying, he knew he was within watch of the city's camera's beyond this point. Turning off his lightsaber, Sakiharu opened his eyes, still unable to see due to the Jedi's attack. But for the moment, Sakiharu couldn't attack Avare and Avare couldn't attack Sakiharu unless either one of them wanted to get arrested. The rules said that the entire planet is the battle ground for a single round. "As I said before, Avare....anything goes," said Sakiharu, sighing slightly as he began to search through his thoughts for a way to get rid of or make due with the blindness. He had as much time as he needed for now until he could think of something.

Being pushed away with the Force he flipped in the air and landed on his feet, just at the edge of the platform. Teetering on the edge he nearly fell but caught his balance, just in time to see Sakiharu run into the doorway that would protect him from an attack. Quickly thinking he disengaged his lightsaber and charged forward using Force Speed. Being near the door but still on the platform he once again called on the Force. Bending the air around the Sith he took control of the invisible matter around him and Forced the Sith towards himself, in a Force Pull. At the same instant he lept forward using his increased speed, and the power of the jump to get closer. At the last instant he engaged the lightsaber to stab the Sith in the chest.

'Think, Sakiharu....think!' As he tried to go over what he could use, he suddenly thought about Force Sight. He had recently been trying it but he hadn't used it very much yet. Using the Force, used used the Force Power and within a split second, he could see Avare coming toward the doorway. 'What is he doing?' he thought to himself, watching him intently. He couldn't attack Sakiharu as long as he was passed the doorway but after feeling his body begin to go forward, he knew then that he was being dragged with Force Pull. 'Idiot.' Using the Force Pull to his advantage, he leaped over Avare to avoid the stab he made against Sakiharu. Landing, now turned toward Avare, he ignited his lightsaber. With the use of Force Sight, he could see Avare very, very clearly.

Knowing that the Sith could see him now, maybe he wasn't aware of where he was was, only to see the glowing Jedi through the Force. Disengaging the lightsaber he lept backwards into the safety of the complex just as Sakiharu was moments before. Maybe he would attack and the Selkath would simply pull him away. Staring out the Jedi simply waited.

The Force Sight didn't just let him see Jedi...he could see everything...even those without life. Seeing Avare now go passed the doorway that connected to the plateform, he could see clearly everything around him, the Jedi's body glowing a blue from the Force Alignment. What puzzled him slightly was that he turned of his lightsaber. Did the Jedi think him stupid to actually go after Avare and attack him when he could see everything with Force Sight. Frankly though, he liked it much better than his normal sight. He wasn't forced to limit himself to light anymore with this abilitly. Finding the attempt that Avare was trying to do, Sakiharu laughed out loudly. "Do you think I'm a fool?! If you think I'd attack, then you clearly don't know or have forgot what Force Sight can do." With that said, he started to walk backwards until stopped near the edge of the plateform. If this worked well enough to what Sakiharu have planned, Avare would find himself covered in the world's water, a fine target for Sakiharu's Force Lightning.
