Just curious why we have it? Seems like you could RP the same things in the story threads, and they're rarely used...

Any reason we have it?

Yeah I see you're using it with a couple others, which is cool; great for the site. However, beyond that it makes me wonder if it is supposed to be non-canon in regards to the site. Could I come in and wreak havoc on it killing you all and have it count for nothing?

I guess if it's just to get characters to meet each other an open thread in the story board would suffice.

In truth I'd rather see it be used for approved character sheets or the character adoption board if that's approved. I know we've never "approved" characters before, but perhaps it's about time we do and have a Character Thread and an Approved thread.

I don't think we need character approvals. We're different from other RP sites for a reason.

As for the bar casino, I know it got heavier use in other timelines. As of now I consider most of what happens there for dueling or training, not necessarily in continuity. If we changed anything I'd rather have a Main Story board (showing conflict between factions) and a Story board (everything else).
