So, while I'm waiting for my character to be accepted, I'd like to see if anyone would be interested in joining me in an RP with him. Either way, it's mainly for the Alliance instead of the Order.

This will take place four years prior to this current point, so it will take place in the past. If you feel uncomfortable doing so or if you're not sure, then it's probably not a good idea. It actually is quite awkward because you have to take into consideration their maturity level/equipment/skill set/etc. during a previous time and maintain this "devolution" of your character.

It might be completely void if the character isn't accepted, in which case, it wouldn't affect anyone and this would all just be for fun (which is what it should be, anyway).

I've yet to flesh out the idea more concretely but I will should anyone wish to participate. I imagine a kind of data-gathering objective and/or an actual battlefront experience. It won't be against the Sith, Imperium, Ascendancy, or Mandalorians as I don't care to get into that. So it's going to be an Indie faction (should anyone else recommend one) or just a planetary war that the Alliance is sent to resolve/record.

Also, I'd like people would be able to post every day or every other day. More isn't necessary (nor will I have the time). Also, dedication is also important since I've had enough unfinished threads for my liking.

How about on Empress Teta? I had proposed an infantry-based battlefield on the planet at the Es Cade Palace that hasn't been done yet, so this could be it.

the biggest issue with a battle of the past would be the need to make sure it would not interfere with how things currently are, or alter anything or create a situation that could be used in a meta gaming sort of manner in modern times, or post time-skip- there has been and will continue to be sweeping changes in situations as we get closer to the time skip, and the rise of larger indifactions along the way ( many whom are just recently formed ) so I would also be cautious then that the same does not happen there, that those involved think they can use it as a springboard to " build onto" what they currently have through hindsight.

Empress: Oh, yeah. That definitely wasn't my intention. It is supposed to be a kind of standard Alliance mission separate from the war, itself. I'll be sure to make that clear and that nothing meta-gamey happens. ;P

What I had proposed would be a rogue operation during the Battle of Empress Teta. It would take place at the Es Cade Palace, the capital where Empress Caye Es Cade and Prince/Senator Cane Es Cade reside. I was thinking that a couple GA soldiers could assist the Cinnagaran Royal Guard in evacuating the governmental officials, namely Caye Es Cade. Thus, it can play a role in the battle, without relying heavily on GA resources (yet still giving your side the resources it needs to defend itself). The battlefield would focus on your crew stopping Imperials from capturing or assassinating Caye Es Cade.

I'd have Imperials be the opposition. I may start the thread. Talk with BN; he'll get you your opponents. Once you have both parties, let me know and I'll start the thread. Also inquire with Gaba if it'll be a Main Thread or not, as it's part of the Battle of Empress Teta.

Well, the problem rests with the fact that this event lies four years prior to the current happenings of the timeline. So, not only could it not be part of the current Battle of Empress Teta, it couldn't really be part of the initial raids.

And if we're strict about time, Cane Es Cade wouldn't be part of the Senate since it was currently created.

So we could still do the same thing but under different circumstances. Or does that not work for you?

The Senate has always been there. It was only OOCly created more recently, but was always there IC.

How about some Jal Shey are acting up on a planet, and the Jedi are called in to intervene.

The premise is this. Addipos has been manipulating the Jal Shey for decades. Geist Weiss could have been working on a project and made a business deal with Addipos to use the Jal Shey to attract some Jedi and GA. Geist unleashes a Rakghoul virus modified by Sith alchemy on the Jal Shey and the nearby local militia. The team sent has to neutralize the outbreak while fighting the people infected.

If Empress is interested, it could be the predecessor to what hit the galaxy during Ravenous. It was modified so it wouldn't have an antidote. When the GA and Jedi finally get a hold on the situation, a sample is sent to a GA laboratory (I forget where the Ravenous virus came from) where it would eventually mutate further thanks to the Sith alchemy where years later Ravenous occurs after it gets out.

Of course, as it's a flashback, there wouldn't be PC deaths. It's up to Empress, should we choose that path, to if there's an antidote at that time. In fact, Addipos could sell the antidote to the GA to make some profit and get on their good side.
