Garus was exuberant, overjoyed really at the potential this site held. Of course, he hadn't finished buy the building, but it was looking like the real deal; it even had the image he was looking for outside. At the moment, he was sitting at the stage, playing with the curtains as he was pretending how his stage reveal would go. Would he open up singing? Or maybe let the music build before pulling the curtain back, letting the crowd experience his glory full on? It was a hard call to make truth be told, but being the brilliant Hutt he was, he would have this figured out in no time. Armand was in the back taking up inventory with Chime, so Garus felt that it might be time to test the facility lighting capabilities, after all, opening night was only a few months away. Taking the controls, the Hutt grinned as he pulled back the curtains and shut all the lights off in the front of the club. He put the music player's delay to thirty seconds, as he knew what song he was going to open up with. Yes, this was going to be glorious, and once it was all his, this dream would finally come true. There was a twinkle the the Hutts eyes, as he sat in the custom made chair he had brought in. Hopefully Armand, wouldn't mind the distraction, but he was a good kid and Chime was programmed to like his singing anyways. So, with the timer ticking down, Garus prepared himself for the second biggest performance of his life.

Armand was so happy! Not only did Garus the Hutt seem to like him and appreciate his abilities, he had even asked him to come help with getting his new establishment opened. The answer was naturally yes, it was the only reasonable response he could have. This was a great opportunity for him to remain on the Hutt's good side. The scoundrel had never been particularly fond of numbers or letters and at the moment, that was precisely what was needed. Little did he have to fear, however, as his ever so helpful protocol droid 'Pierre' was there to save the day. Pierre was great and Crossac was not only a little grateful that the droid always agreed to help him out.

In the back of the establishment, Pierre's voice could be heard loud and clear "No, no, no. That crate is supposed to be on the second shelf to the left" he said, looking at the human who had just put down the crate on the first shelf to the right, on the completely wrong side of the room. "I thought..." the young scoundrel was about to argue but stopped himself - Pierre was usually right anyways and it was a team effort, there was really no need to cause any more conflict than necessary. "Sorry, mate" he said before picking up the rather heavy crate once again in order to bring it to the right spot.

Just as the young scoundrel had made it across half the room, Chime entered, offering him a few cheerful words of encouragement. Stopping for a bit, he turned to the little droid "Thanks, buddy!" he hollered happily before continuing to toil away. Once the crate was delivered, Pierre started inspecting the crates contents and took inventory of what they had. Crossac watched the droid do what would probably just have made himself dizzy "Thanks again. I'll go bring in the next crate" he said. "You are welcome, Armand. Please do" the droid responded with a courteous voice. The young scoundrel had gotten used to the droid calling him by his first name by now, in fact, he thought it was rather pleasant. With that, the scoundrel turned to head out into the corridors at the back of the establishment again.

Why did she have to be back on this dreadful planet again. Sera's thoughts coursed through her mind as she made her way through the back alleys over to the Hutt den. It had to have something going on. Durr makes a broadcast asking for the head of any twat holding one of those glow sticks and now there's syndicate activity hurtling about this place all at the whims of a hutt. Uck. Still it was eating at her mind something big may be in the works and judging by the exterior and the sight of the scantily clad hutt (an image Sera wanted to burn out with a cocktail of bleach and spirits) hinted to her what this place would be. Likely a redlight district with it's array of 'workers'. That meant slaves and slaves pointed towards one hutt in her mind. Usha. If that bastard had any one of his fat slimy fingers in this pie then she wanted to know. Any lead even would be worth even if it meant busting a few heads to get. Anyone who got in her way deserved it anyways, they decided to back up that good for nothing bastard.

Still right now she had to get inside. Sera finally thought her opportunity arrived in the late night as it seemed that all activity had come to a close and not a single soul seemed to be inside. Coming up to the building now from behind, with some creative thought and the help of a low hanging AC unit she managed to reached into a ventilation shaft... Cliche but atleast it had plenty of room. Undoing the screws and removing the cover she was making her inside the building. Her mind anxiously taking note of the sound that buckling metal could make. Still she wanted to get inside and quietly so she tried to channel the force. Using it pull her body up. It was a very long far cry from something like levitation but it allowed her to minimize the amount of weight she was putting on the shaft and by extension move with a bit less noise. A part of her could almost feel a chill like a fan turned on and started to pump air into the vent. This was ridiculous, sneaking in somewhere through a vent? This was straight out of a holomovie, all she needed was some stupid fooking rope to complete the image. Would have been easier to just throw a brick through the front window and do a smash and grab.

Still making progress she reached a grate that fed air into the main room a decent exit point. Sticking a pry bar into the slots made by the grating and using the force to enhance her strength and bend the grating away to make a hole that could just fit her she deposited herself out feet first and found her self in the front half of the den. Eyes gravitating towards the stage as she walked around trying to keep her footsteps quiet when out of nowhere music started blaring through the speakers causing Sera to reach inside her Jacket and draw her DL-44 as fast as she could manage waiting for what to see if this was merely a fluke of spotty electrics or if she was about to have a very bloody encounter.

Garus was too enthralled with the performance awaiting him, the music blocked out any sounds that might have seemed out of the ordinary, while the currents flew wide open. Garus was taken by surprise, as he found an angel standing before him, and where the Hutt might have been able to bellow out any tune without hesitation, he found himself faltering at the sight of such a majestic and dangerous specimen. She had a blaster trained on him, and if looks could kill, he'd have been dead three times over. The Hutt steeled himself though, seeing that the galaxy had sent him an angel on the eve of victory, and this was his night to win her over with his voice. Running a small hand across his forehead, the Hutt flew into one of the most passionate starts of any song in his life; even Armand would take note of the energy his employer was bellowing out, as he flew into the first verse.

"Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
Let me know what Spring is like
On Quesh and Mustafar
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, darling, kiss me."

Garus felt that he was on fire, as he slide forward, gesturing outward with his right hand toward this lovely woman who was threatening his life, knowing that not only was his existence on the line, but his heart as well. The Hutt had partners over his long life span, but never had he felt anything as compelling as this. He had no clue who this woman was, but he had to know. She deserved only the best of course, but Garus had to prove that he could provide that; what better way than by the power of music. The music swelled as he pushed into the second verse, hoping he hadn't been shot yet.

"Fill my heart with song
And let me sing forever more
You are all I worship
All I long for and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you!"

Was that? No, surely he had to have misheard. For some reason, Crossac thought he heard something above him for a moment but quickly waved away the thought. He had a job to do. "The box with the fire projectors, right?" he asked, having forgotten what his mate had tasked him to retrieve. "The pyrotechnics, yes" Pierre replied, correcting the scoundrel. If Armand, hadn't known better, he would have thought that the protocol droid was annoyed, but that really didn't seem much like Pierre at all. He was always so supportive and generous. "The pyrotechnics, right. Thanks, Pierre!" he said as he exited the room into the corridor.

Just as he had picked up a large carton box, a genius place to store flammable materials in, the young scoundrel started walking when he suddenly heard loud music being played from the front. "That wasn't supposed to go off now, was it?" he asked himself in a low mumble. But then, he also seemed to hear Garus' lovely voice which would explain quite a bit. Still, better safe than sorry - Crossac decided to investigate the matter. Once opening the door leading from the corridor at the back to the main hall, he bent down and put down the closed box to hold the door open. The overly brightly lit corridor stood in stark contrast to the more damp hall with the opened door practically shooting a spotlight at the girl who stood in front of the scene. Once the scoundrel stood upright again, he spotted the mysterious presence and let out a low "Oh"

With Garus stable and reliable voice filling the locale with lovely music, the scoundrel's eyes slowly ventured from her eyes, to her nose, mouth, neck, shoulders, arm and finally blaster. Blaster?! For a moment, he wanted to reach for his own weapon but seeing the Hutt keep singing as if there were no worries in the world, he refrained from doing so and simply walked closer to the two. Whilst he was ready to duck and draw his own blaster at a moments notice, Crossac's mind was at seeming friendly - the woman had to be some sort of weird admirer or something. Once the song was over, he was ready to clap his hands enthusiastically but stayed his hands, waiting for a reaction from the her.

There were many things Sera expected and many different responses that all would have happened in seconds. From just running, diving out the front windows, shooting first and then asking questions. Sera had many hairy events in her that meant she was prepared for most things or could atleast adapt to them as best as she could. However; none of that could have prepared her for this. Never her in life did her mind could ever account for a Hutt serenading her with song and coming onto her. It was singing. It was singing amazingly too. It. Was. Offering. Her. It's. Hand. Sera's mind froze as her mind encountered a fatal exception that left her wishing she could reboot and wake up from this nightmare in the making. With lights from the stage feeling like they were shining straight at her making her the proverbial deer in headlights.

Her hands were shaking, noises trying desperately to form themselves into words were escaping her mouth. The mouth that hung slightly agape now in horror. She looked upon this filthy disgusting piece of vile as it's sickly eyes registered nothing but lust and attraction for her. Sera's throat tighten like someone had put it in a vice or crimped it with a titanium zip tie. Her eyes then registered the second person in the room indicating that she wasn't alone and judging by his expression he wasn't looking to save her from this nightmare.

She wanted to barf, to she wanted to run, she wanted to take the nearest sharp object and jab it into it's eye. But right now she was powerless to do anything. Sera's grip around her blaster loosened uncontrollably and it fell from her hands unto the floor. She barely moved or even flinched even as the blaster discharged harmlessly and sent a bolt into the right side wall.

Now though that didn't matter. She was stuck in this forceforsaken karoke bar and wanted nothing more than to get out.

Garus watched as the lovely woman dropped her guard, the blaster falling from her hands as she was utterly smitten by the power of his newly forged love. Garus was feeling like a million credits, as he caught movement out of the corner of his eye and glanced to see his main man standing by in solidarity; good old Armand was probably a reliable wingman. The moment of truth was fastly approaching, as Garus went into the final verse, Chime had chosen this moment to make himself know, as the mini disco ball made a b-line towards Sera and tried to get a good look at her.

"Fill my life with song
Let me sing for ever more
All I worship and adore
You are all I long for
In other words, please be true
In other words, in other words
In other words, in other words
In other words
I love youuuuuuuuuuuuu!"

The sounds of the music blared to a final triumphant note, before leaving the audience in silence, Garus was left panting, having put everything he had into that performance, the Hutt gave a small bow, as he spoke into the microphono. "Thank you, thank you very much. I wasn't expecting such a lovely creature to be in attendance of my first performace, I'm flattered." The hutt chuckled, before grabbing a rag off his utility belt and dabbing his face. "This is my good man, Armand, and I am your lovely host, Garus. So tell me you celestial beauty, what is your name?" Garus motioned for Armand to get over to him, after all, this woman was his guest, and it would be rude to stand off to the side like that. Maybe she was thirsty, but the drinking supplies weren't in yet; rather unfortunate that. As Garus awaited for the lovely woman to speak, he was already thinking of his next move.

He was humming along by now, having gotten an idea of how the song went. It was quiet humming, drowned out by Garus' voice - especially when reinforced by the microphone. Suddenly, a blaster shot went off, causing a loud impact as the bolt hit a wall. the scoundrel's hand immediately went to his blaster and his finger quickly wrapped around the trigger - but then, he saw how the girl stood unarmed and noticed how well the explosion matched with the pace of the song. She must really have enjoyed it. Relaxing again, Crossac raised an arm to quietly contact Pierre "Pierre, refreshments" he whispered before continuing to slowly walk towards the scene and the girl next to it.

Standing just a few meters away from the woman when the song was over, Crossac clapped his hands enthusiastically - it was always good to hear Garus sing, both talented and gifted as he was. He wasn't sure why the Hutt wanted him up on the scene, but rarely did the young scoundrel question instruction given to him by those higher than himself in hierarchy. After a short climb, he was up on the stage, standing beside Garus, but slightly behind him - he knew who the main person of interest should be in this situation. Bowing slightly, he let out a short "Hi" before standing back, letting his lips form a thin smile.

Soon, Pierre arrived through the same doorway as Armand had earlier. The bright lightning in the corridor ensured that anyone standing in it would cast a large shadow into the room, ensuring that no one would enter unnoticed. Maybe the lights would need to be toned town a bit before they opened. Carrying a tray, the protocol droid approached "Dear gentlebeings, I bring grapes and sparkling pumpkin wine" he said upon nearing the group. The droid first offered the guest to take what she wanted before approaching the stage. It was obvious that he wouldn't be able to climb it with any grace - particularly when carrying the tray with refreshments. Seeing the trouble, Armand took over. Taking a few steps forth, he picked up the tray and returned to Garus' side, holding it so that the Hutt could easily take what he wanted. Looking to the group, the droid offered "Would you like something warm to eat perhaps? A fine looking Bantha steak arrived recently" If the answer was positive, both the droid and Crossac would disappear out to the kitchen for a while.

Lovely creature? Celestial being? It actually thought she was hot? It just kept looking at her like an awestruck puppy dog... The size of a small landspeeder. She didn't know what to do... Until it occurred to her. She was dreaming. That was exactly it! This all had to be a sick nightmare that her mind conjured up. Thinking she could get revenge only for all of this to happen. She would just wake up and she could forget all about singing hutts and Nar Shadda.

The droid and the pretty boy came by offering drinks and grapes, she ignored the grapes as well... it associations she didn't like to think about. Memories of being forced to eat the grapes off of the body of a hutt or other slaves or the reverse flooding her mind. That made the wine all the more appealing as she took the glass and slammed the drink down her throat. She would proceed to drop the glass as it smashed against the floor not caring whether or not it was good quality crystal.

"I I I I... I must be dreaming. You all don't exist... This is just a dream... right a dream. Sera spoke to Garus and Armand. Though mainly she was speaking to herself trying to convince herself that this nightmare wasn't actually happening. Heck if this was a dream then anything was allowed right... She pinched herself with as much pressure as could force on her skin only to be met with a familiar pain response...
