It had only been two years since her parents death, but she still could not let it go. She was not sure what her father's last words had meant, but she had a strange feeling that the Jedi were not responsible for their deaths. She was ready now.

She was to become a padawan and learn the ways of the Force...even though she knew a lot about them to begin with. She had been groomed to be a Jedi all her life and she had had no idea.

She waited inside the Jedi Temple now, looking through the crowds to maybe feel her new master in the Force.

The halls throughout the Jedi Temple were filled with life, a million chattering souls seemed to bombard ones ears in an instant as every individual made their way to whatever it was they needed to attent to, rushing past one another in a frantic attempt to hurry. The morning sun beamed through the windows lining the walls, creating pockets of heat in the freezing air looming in across the Metropolis planet known as Coruscant, birthplace of the Republic and where almost every war in the past fifty years had begun.

Ryaco Lyper was one of the many moving through the halls in an attempt to reach his destination, his dark brown robe giving him little warmth in the cool morning, yet Ryaco ignored it to his best ability, today was important.

As the Jedi Knight entered the main hall of the Temple, his eyes darted across the room, searching for the being he intended on meeting. It was then he realized, he knew nothing of this being who intended on recieving training, other then the fact she was a woman, which Ryaco had judged from the name he had been given. He would have to rely on the force to guide him to her.

She felt him, her master, and he was somewhere in the crowd. She smiled and stood on her tiptoes, looking over the heads of other people in the crowd. She started to make her way through the crowd in the direction that the Force was guiding her.

It took little more then a few seconds for Ryaco to feel a presence approaching in he force, apprently, his new Padawan either knew who he was, or had quite a good connection to the force, for a beginning Padawan.

It was then he saw a woman pushing her way through the crowd, no older then twenty years of age, dark brown hair hung down to the tip of her shoulders. The silver hilt of a lightsaber hung off her belt, almost completley concealed by the long robes she was dressed in. It seemed this woman was his new Padawan Learner.

Ryaco began making his way toward her, a slow pace in his steps, there was no rush, something many people around him hurrying about their day should gladly learn.

Nashia was pleased and surprised that she had found her new master so easily. She waited till her was closer before she bowed and introduced herself.

"I am Nashia Venora, your new padawan, I believe"

"Its a please to meet you, Miss Venora, and I believe you are correct. I am Ryaco Lyper."

For a moment, Ryaco stood still, basking in the sunlight beaming down upon him from the large glass sunroof spanning across the ceiling, it was a pleasant change from cold touching everything in sight.

"So, shall we commence with your training?"

"Yes, please, I would like that very much"

She smiled at him. She was excited to learn more than her parents had taught her. She couldn't wait.

Ryaco grinned at her enthusiasm, it was a big step from Padawan to Knight and Ryaco was here to help her take the step.

"Very well, follow me."

With that, Ryaco began making his way through the crowd and to a large staircase that led to the upper levels of the temple, he had the ideal place to commence her training.

Upon reaching the top of the staircase, Ryaco moved to the third door on the left and entered into a large balcony towering above the temple, the Metropolis that was Coruscant spanned across the horizon, buildings shooting up into the sky, speeders making their way across the air ways in the same frantic motion as the people in the temple.

"Fantastic view, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is. This is a beautiful city"

Nashia said softly as she followed her master. She fidgeted with her hair out of nervousness as they walked. She had forgotten to put it up this morning and she quickly did that before her master noticed.

"Excuse my ignorance, but what do I address you as?"

Ryaco smiled.

"It is traditional to call ones trainer 'Master', of course, you can just refer to me by my first name if you wish."

It was only then Ryaco realized his eyes were still fixed on the morning scene before him, quickly, he turned away and focused on the task at hand.

"Now then, lets proceed with your training. I believe the best way to begin ones training is on a personal level. Tell me about yourself, Nashia."

"Well, I was born and raised on Kirrek with my parents. I was an only child and now I am an orphan. My parents taught me the ways of the Force all my life and when my they were killed my father told me to find the Jedi. I thought at first that they were responsible for their deaths, but then I started to realize that I think my parents used to be Jedi. That's what lead me here"

She stopped talking and sighed softly. She felt tears welling up in her eyes, but she blinked until they went away.

Ryaco felt the saddened emotion in her thoughts, her feelings, it flowed from her mind freely, something he would eventually teach her to control.

"I'm sorry to hear that, would you mind telling me about them?"

Nashia nodded and then started to answer his question.

"They were very kind. My father was more aggressive and he taught me how to fight while my mother was kind and gentle, she taught me most of the powers I know. They were sad though, there was something that they never talked about...about their past. I'm guessing it was whatever happened between them and the Jedi"

She paused and a frown crossed her face.

"I think it was my fault they had to leave"

Ryaco could feel the intense emotion in her voice and thoughts, he didn't want to push deeper, but it felt neccesary.

"Why do you think that?"

"I don't know...cause she was pregnant? I'd have to do resource to see what exactly happened, but I think my father was a higher rank than her. He knew much more than she did"

She shrugged.

"That's the past though. They started my training and now I want to finish it. I want to become what they have groomed me to become, a Jedi Knight"

Ryaco nodded, he had heard what was needed. It seemed she felt no lust for revenge.

"Tell me, what was it your mother tought you of the force?"

She did not know the proper names for everything she had learned so she just figured that whatever word she did use, he would understand.

"Well, I can push and pull things, I can jump very high, I can move faster than normal all with the help of the Force"

She stopped and checked over the list to make sure that was all...it wasn't.

"And I can also make people do what I want...if they are weak-minded. My father taught me that"

Ryaco nodded as Nashia went through what she knew to utilize of the force, all were learnt by Younglings during their training, there was no difference in a child learning said control of the force from a parent. The final in the list was a little more advanced, but there was no problem with having a stronger grip of the force at a young age.

"Excellent, excellent." Ryaco began, pulling a communication device from his belt and held it out toward Nashia.

"I would like you to pry this from my hand using only the force."

"Of course"

She nodded then closed her eyes for just a second. She knew she could do this, but she was nervous about trying it around someone who was not her family. Her eyes opened back up as she had called the Force around her. She focused on his hand, the comm, and slowly reached her hand towards the hand.

She willed the comm to come to her. Through the Force she pictured it in her hand and not in his, she wanted it in hers. She could feel it starting to move and she could only hope that it would come.

Ryaco could feel the force tugging away at the device encased by his fingertips, it was difficult to hold onto, however, Ryacos grip would not waver.

"Focus." Ryaco simply said, watching silently as Nashia continued pulling at the comm with the force, it was like an odd tug-of-war.
