A cold Coruscant night, people, aliens, were walking by him his emotion calm as the ice of Hoth.

Draven needed to get away and relax he was stressed over far to much and Valek let him go off training for awhile for some R & R; he decided to get a drink and make some small chit chat athe local bar.

The Outlander Club

He was in his usual atire Red ribbon over his eye sockets, Black robe with his hood over and lightsaber and blaster conceled from sight. He walked into the bar to find all sorts of beings in conversarion he liked it. All the life all the auras he felt at peace for once. People weren't trying to destroy him so he was finally letting go of his stress

The bartender looked upon Draven
"Ey kid! Your one of them Miraluka's ain't ya?"

Draven smiled and said "Why yes fellow I am does it matter?"

The bartender just nodded and said "Naw son I jus ain't seen much o your kind round' here, need a drink?"

Draven just looked at him and said "Why yes that would be grand right now"

Draven looked around the bar and waited to see if anyone would talk to him. He of course was still a 18 year old and had human desires.

Eriaz Mondale walked into the club after closing his merchant cart. The atmosphere was nice. He sat down after buying a drink and some crisp snacks. He was looking for money, and had stuff to sell. He drank and ate, while all the while conscious of his future.

Dagos piloted his speeder through the airways of Corscant in his usual way, speeding and barely outmaneuvering the traffic. He had just come from putting in his application to the Republic Navy and decided he would spend his last night as a citizen revisiting his favorite places in the city. The first on the list was one of the liveliest places around, The Outlander Club.

Dagos had spent a lot of time there in his younger years. He found the variety of patrons entertaining and enjoyed the company of the diverse aliens he met there. This would be his last “hoorah” to his old life.

He parked his speeder and hobbled into the establishment. Immediately the vast array of smells, sights, and sounds overtook him, but what struck him the most was the colors, vast hues of every color imaginable could me seen right before him. He took a moment to take it all in; he had missed this. As a slave, Dagos’s bleak life consisted of working ridiculous amounts, eating whatever no one else wanted to eat, sleeping in a dank cell that was too small for his stature, and being bullied around by the boss’s henchman. Finally, a good time had arrived.

Continuing his hobbling, Dagos approached the bar in delight.

Whate’er yeh gots that’s sweet.” He told the barman before he could even ask.

He turned to look about the bar for someone to socialize with. His eyes fell upon a fellow a little ways down the bar; he had a headband covering his eyes and yet he moved like he could see betterthan any pilot with 20/20. Curiosity overtook him and Dagos decided that this would be the first target of the night. He grabbed his drink and hobbled through the crowd toward the young man with a freandly demeanor.

The stocky Besalisk placed himself at the bar next to this strange patron. After a moment, he said very nonchalantly:
Eh, Fine nigh’ fer a party. No?

After the long day of job hunting, Cally was beat. Her poor feet felt as if the heels of her boots had been slowly hammered into her poor foot. The city planet was a lot of ground to cover.

As she meandered into the bar, feeling the comfort the steady music wrought in her very bones, a smile rose on her face. This was the life. Adding to her good mood, minus the heel pain, was the fact that she had spent the whole day walking in the city of this place and no one even knew who she was. It seemed her latest identity was as flawless as her brother had assured her.

Seeing a few heads already turn her way and admiring her figure, she could not help but give them a look to encourage such behavior. She was, afterall, wanting to have some fun tonight.

Wearing a business suit with enough cleavage showing to assure her interviewers that she was indeed a woman, but not enough to illicit responses or touches, she strolled to the bar.

"Your best red wine," she ordered with a bright smile on her face. Seeing the bartender nod his head, she undid her jacket and gently laid it on the stool beside her. Her hands went up and undid the bun her hair was in, letting those blonde tresses cascade over her shoulders and down her back.

Dagos was annoyed at the strangers silence.
After a few minutes of awkward quiet, he decided that the stranger was better left alone.

Scanning through the bar for a more talkative query, he spotted a blond human girl across the room. She was about his height and, by human standards, the most beautiful girl he had ever seen of the race. He watched her order a drink and take off her jacket. When she undid her bun and let her hair fall, giving a few of the patrons an 'encouraging' look, he decided that she would probably become the life of the party.

Dagos made his way towards her, planning what he was going to say.
About ten meters from her he was stopped by a Twi'lik male. His head-tails wrapped above his head in a ridiculous fashion.

"Hey, man. You look like the kind of guy that would just love to get some action tonight. Eh? Well tell you what. You see that girl over there? Yeah, the blonde. Well she's a close, personal friend of mine, if you know what I mean."He said in a suave, salesman voice, winking."Now I could help you out here. I can introduce you to her. Eh? wouldn't that be nice?

Of course, I would have to know that you would take good care of her. How about this. You give me 200 credits, just to hold you know? And I wont worry about her too much. When your finished and she tells me you didn't abuse her, you'll get it back. Eh? What do you say? Good deal?"

The Twi'lik oozed charm, concern, and sincerity throughout his entire pitch. Dagos saw strait through it. He had been around this kind of place enough times to know a con when he saw one. He looked the Twi'lik in the eyes and simply said, "No."

The stocky Besalisk started to move past the obnoxious Twi'lek, only to be cut off again.
"Now buddy, without security I can't let you approach her. Got it?"

"Yeh, I got i'. If that's 'ow yer gonna play i'. I'm passing." Dagos turned right arround, making sure to cover his wallet, and shuffled back into the crowd, searching for somebody to talk to and have a good time with.

Dekar walked through the door, and immediately traversed to the bar. "I want to get smashed, surprise me and make sure it happens..." Dekar's voice seemed to penetrate just enough space to get to the bartender, nothing further. With a nod, Dekar soon found a full glass in front of him, and within an instant, it was empty. "Keep 'em coming." Dekar threw credits on the counter, and the bartender went about his business. Dekar turned around, leaning non-chillantly against the bar, and eyed the room. He saw a shady twi'lek, and knew this must have been the infamous scum of these parts...con men. Dekar didn't know weather to leave him alone, or to have some fun, so, after downing another drink, he moved toward the twi'lek, all the while pulling a pipe from his pouch, and some fresh marcan herb.

He reached the twi'lek and lit up. "Do you know where I can find a good time? I'm new to this area, and I want to get the right impression of this place." "Aren't you a little young to be in a bar, kid?" "Yeah..." "Well then...you see that woman over there? The blond? Pretty aint she? I could have her show you a very good time, I'm an aqcuaintance of hers, and for the right price, I can make anything happen..." Dekar searched his options. He didn't believe for a moment that someone so beautiful could perform in that line of work, she had class. "Can we step outside to talk? It's a little loud in here, and I don't want people to see me flash my credits around... you know."

The two shuffled between the crowd, and found the exit in the back. Entering a dark uninhabited alleyway, the twi'lek turned around and began to list prices and services. Dekar didn't pay attention to this. Behind his back, he was attaching a suppressor to his Havoc-7. Before the twi'lek finished, Dekar swung the slugthrower around and brought the barrel to the twi'lek's head. "Wait, okay...I know you think I'm a con man...I am, but I can't help you thicken your wallet...let's make a deal okay?" The fear in his eyes and the quiver in his voice began to exhilerate Dekar, and he was filled with a sense of power. "I know you can make me richer, because I know you're holding credits. Why would I want anymore trouble than this?" With that, Dekar pulled the trigger and the twi'lek dropped to the ground, limp. After raiding his wallet, Dekar found 500 credits, and a dose of neutron pixie. Dekar walked through the door, and returned to his drink, as if nothing had happened...

((...what was the point of that? You totally just destroyed my NPC for no reason other than you were bored. That is very rude, I hope you know.))

It wasn't long until Dagos got bored and decided he would leave. The party here didn't seem as good as he remembered them being.
As he was leaving, Dagos noticed the Twi'lek talking to another guy, a young one too. Curious at what would happen, the Besalisk watched through the crowd as the two left the back way and after a minute, only the kid came back.

That wasn't right. Stuff like this always happened in the lower city, but Dagos couldn't just stand around and let this happen. The man was a Con, but that didn't mean he deserved whatever this kid had done.

Trying his best to be casual, Dagos exited out the way they had come, making sure the human didn't see him. To his immediate displeasure, he saw the body of the Twi'lek laying on the ground, a hole in his face and blood staining the ground. He had been searched and stripped of anything valuable. Disgusting. Dagos definitely could not let this stand.

He shuffled back inside and took a seat at the bar on the other side of a large crowd from the kid. Dagos wrote a quick note to the Bartender and handed it to him over the counter. The Bothan's expression switched from confusion to surprise and alarm. He darted into the back room of the bar, probably to talk to some manager.

(sorry, you're right, I wasn't thinking too clearly, and it wasn't entirely out of boredom, I was trying to build some type of arc for my character dealing with morality, but it was rude nonetheless, so I appologize.)

Dekar sipped his drink casually, and noticed a large besalisk watching him. The besalisk handed something to the bartender, which surprised him, and the bartender darted to the back. Dekar was getting a little panicky, regretting the deed he had just done. Thinking back, Dekar remembered feeling different when he shot this twi'lek. Usually when Dekar killed someone, they were either shooting at him, or they had some sort of perversion he felt the galaxy would best be rid of, but did the twi'lek deserve death? Dekar's panicky feeling shifted to guilt, and Dekar was torn between his two options. Leave, and avoid the trouble, or stay and fess up to his crime. Then another possibility entered Dekar's mind, what if the situation goes awry, could a shootout take place here? Not likely at all, but was it worth the chance?

Val was busy standing outside of the club smoking a cigarette. She was leaning against the wall, feeling the low vibrations of the music against her back. Her ebony hair cascaded down around her pallid features, a sharp contrast that accented her beauty. The young girl paid no heed to her immediate surroundings. Her thoughts were far away, as always, on her current duties and tasks she would be assigned as a Jedi. Of course, if her master saw her like this, he probably wouldn't be pleased.

A sound in the close proximity caused her to snap out of her reverie. Val quietly watched as a twi'lek and a human walked out of the club. She expected some sort of illegal dealing and allowed the force to heighten her senses so she could rudely eavesdrop. It's not like they'd know she was doing it, anyway. Val was in no mood to play police, and would only find out the kind of under the table trades that were going on around here.

As the twi'lek's body hit the ground, Val's eyes narrowed to slits. She suddenly couldn't feel the vibration of the music, could no longer hear the chatter of the people inside. She could only focus on the human that had done the deed. From her eavesdropping, it was evident that there was no reason for the twi'lek to have been shot so mercilessly. Val wasn't a hardcore Jedi, but there were many aspects of a Jedi instilled in her. It was a sense of righteousness combined with a need for powerful justice. It was the deadliest amalgamation.

The cigarette was casually tossed aside, and her amber eyes followed the man walking into the club. She waited till he entered the club again before deciding to make a quick decision. The woman slunk through the shadows and followed. She waded through the mobs of people, zig-zagging like a snake that was stalking its prey.

Upon reaching Dekar, Val did not hesitate. Her left arm shot up and her fingers grabbed a hold of his hair to yank him backwards onto the ground. Her right hand quickly reached for her DC-17 hand blaster. As he would land on the ground, he would find himself staring up into the barrel, with her standing overhead. Her voice cut through the noise and would reach him loud and clear.

"You wanna try that shit again?"

"Good, I was waiting for someone to do that, I sure as hell deserve worse." Dekar looked up at the beautiful woman and for a moment, forgot about his guilt, but it swiftly rushed back and he was again utterly displeased with himself. "Are you gonna take me in, or just kill me here? That wouldn't be the Jedi way, would it? Hell, do it anyways..." Dekar's disposition was unaltered, a small sense of fear that would have been undetectable to anyone else, but he felt this woman before she even touched him, a sense Dekar wasn't used to. Maybe Jedi can make their pressence felt, but he hadn't heard of that before. Now all eyes were in their direction, waiting for the woman's next move.

OoC: Dunno where Sandwich went...

Val tilted her head. She was amused at his reaction, having expected it to be far worse. She twirled the blaster and put it back in its holster, reaching a hand down to help him up.

"You're pathetic, you know that?"

The question was accompanied with a grin. She was mildly surprised to find that he was force sensitive. She berated herself for failing to pick that up while they were outside. Val looked around and saw that many patrons of the club had stopped dancing and were openly gawking at her. She once again had to be ashamed of her outbursts. Her brash behavior would make becoming a good Jedi that much tougher. She waved the onlookers off with her hand.

"Get back to dancing, there's nothing to see here."

Val turned back to the man. She thought back to how he had easily identified her as a Jedi. Was she really like that? A person of righteousness walking around with a huge stamp of Jedi? She didn't like the thought of that. It meant she couldn't mask her identity anywhere. Then again, it may be a blessing as few would pick a fight with a Jedi, even if she was just a Padawan. But he didn't need to know that. Without giving him time to figure out more about her, she proposed another question.

"If you feel guilty, why do it in the first place? He had done no harm to you. And if you can sense I'm a Jedi, you could definitely sense that he was no real threat."

"I believe I've asked myself that question several times since...something strange came over me, it felt almost like instinct...I don't understand it myself." Dekar looked deep into the woman's eyes and realized he didn't need to be afraid of anything. "A criminal record, I don't suppose I have a chance of getting into the military now, huh? And before you decide to imprison me...What's your name?

"Imprison you? Do I look like I work for the Republic?"

Val considered his words. There had been many times she had acted without thinking. Of course, it was never brash enough to result in someone's death. Regardless, she was no one to pass judgment on this man. He had passed it on the twi'lek, and somewhere down the line, he would pay for it. Val, however, wouldn't be the one to grant him retribution. His talk of military reminded her of when she had initially signed up for it.

"I thought about joining the military, but I don't think it's for me. And I doubt they'll be too picky about records. With the war going on, I think they could use anyone they can get."

The war had cast a permanent taint in the atmosphere. It was embedded within the force and she could feel it everywhere. The feeling bothered her, but she had learned to accept its existence. She was far from experienced enough to join in the war just yet. She secretly hoped it wouldn't end before she was done with all her training. Val extended a hand for him to shake.

"Valena Cross. But call me Val. And you are?"

Dekar outstretched his hand. "Dekar Fel." Dekar was now wondering weather the military was right for him as well, or if he was trying only to fill a void. The commotion of the bar returned to it's normal state, the drinkers to their drinks. It was as if nothing happened, no one even mumbled about it.

"I wonder if it's even worth it, with this moral upset, I suppose I should rethink my whole motive..." Dekar realized only too late that he had made an implication asking for her help. The last thing he wanted was to impose on some one who was ready to beat him senseless only a moment ago. "I think I had better go then, um...thanks...Val"
