I would really like to continue this role-play, but if no one can be found to NPC in Static's spot or the majority of you would rather end it here, then let's at least formulate an IC result to what has happened so far.

I think I have a suitable compromise. The mercenaries in the hangar are overwhelmed by the amount of firepower directed at them. They are forced to withdraw back through the hangar entrance, but not before setting several high explosive charges along the supporting structure of the entrance. As the Mandalorians rush forward, taking more ground, the mercenaries jump into a hovering shuttle and detonate the explosives. The hangar is sealed, preventing the Mandalorians from pursuing or launching their own vessels to intercept. Far above, the Mandalorians on top of the bunker manage to eliminate both droidekas, though not without injuries. The end result: the entire outpost is crippled.. the hangar entrance is caved in and thus unable to launch alert fighters or shuttle craft. The communications and sensor arrays are damaged and will take some time to repair. The perimeter wall is destroyed, leaving the bunker itself exposed to direct attack. This may not be a complete victory for the mercenaries, but with the outpost unable to effectively defend itself or detect an incoming fleet, I think they certainly achieved something very close. The Mandalorians on the other hand have successfully repelled an assault, but have no idea who is behind it. They can recover undamaged equipment and abandon the outpost or send for supplies to repair and rebuild, which will take more time.

Would that work for both sides?

On that note, I'll poke around for a replacement for Static. If it doesn't work out, I'll edit my post and replace Sotelo with a facsimile droid.

I still haven't read through Corden's post, but I'll get around to it. I'll set up a date to talk with Phil on MSN or shoot him a PM and we'll talk it over. That is, unless anyone has a major issue with OOCly ending it.

Really doesn't matter to me; if everyone else wants to continue then we can; but if everyone wants to just end it so our chars aren't stuck in this thread anymore; I'm fine with that too.

Corden's idea works for me on a side note for how we'd IC finish it.

Otherwise I may be down to RP a post of an NPC character in Static's stead getting killed; his droid components would vaporize upon the Mandalorian's destroying it and put a good chunk into the hanger.
