What I want to know is - who the hell came up with the crazy idea in the first place?

I agree. What was the thought process on that one. "Well what if we put the thing in a @$#!ing tooth would that work?" "Sound greats lets try it" :CHappy:

What makes it worse is the idea would have had to be run past a lot of people before it could go ahead.

'See...this dude's blind...and we're gonna put a tooth in there, and see if that makes it any better...'

That's amazing... It says the procedure allowed him to see his wife for the very first time, as he had married her while he was blind. What if he didn't liked what he saw? This whole elaborate tooth-in-eye scheme would only have ruined a good marriage!

Did you see the mans picture? He wasn't exactly Brad Pitt...

I bet you his wife was not what he expected....there was that awkward moment when he finally got his sight back, and when he looked at his wife for the first time....I would have paid to see his face haha...

Well, that's... ...enlightening.

Medical Science never ceases to amaze, does it?

He did say that his wife was 'beautiful and wonderful' in the article, for all you naysayers.

:CIsee:

I do that one because Stern Face Man, along with Drunken Retarded Fellow and my own lovely Signature, have the dreaded red 'X' of doom in their usual positions, today.

I remember reading a similar story where the blindman actually left his wife after.
