Personally, I don't know how the Bogan will stand much of a chance against the Hutts for very long. Oh sure, they have Force-sensitives and state of the art equipment but their Empire is only one-sector large, as opposed to an Empire that composes most of the Outer Rim. Territory aside, the Hutts have a far large and far more efficient military and navy. If Sano is really intent on destroy you all, I don't see this Empire lasting long anyways civil war or not.

The Hutts declaring war on the Bogan is undoubtedly the single most stupid thing any faction has done on this website since its inception. I'm sorry, it's just absurdly stupid. It has nothing to do with anything that makes any real sense IC and has everything to do with the well known and unfounded OOC paranoia of the high ranking Hutt leadership.

I really think, Brandon, it wasn't so a stupid a move. This is just my opinion though. In your recent thread, the then-Emperor of the Bogan distanced himself from the Hutts, downplayed their alliance, and all but declared his intent to to extend a hand of friendship to the Republic and the Jedi, given that the Jedi hadn't attacked you first. That is enough of a reason for any IC action to be taken against the Bogan.

Personally, I don't know how the terrorists will stand much of a chance against the Americans for very long. Oh sure, they have the best soldiers and state of the art equipment but their territory is only one-desert large, as opposed to a country that composes most of the northwestern hemisphere. Territory aside, the Americans have a far large and far more efficient military and navy. If Bin Laden is really intent on destroy you all, I don't see this nation lasting long anyways civil war or not.

Fixed.

If you think the Bogan can just be destroyed because of manpower and territory, you are sorely mistaken.

Never a dull moment, though. Gotta admit, didn't see it coming, right?

Also, this. If it were that easy, the Jedi and the Sith would have been long gone tens of thousands of years before the Clone Wars era

And I also know that this plan was in the works before my interview. Don't spin it.

Actually I knew it was coming.

I never said that. I said the "Empire" will. The Bogan as an Order have to survive to eventually become the Sith, though we know, canonically, that there were only a handful of Dark Jedi that became the first Sith Lords. What if, in our timeline, the Hutts destroyed the Bogan Empire, and what remained of it went to Korriban and became the Sith?

Anyways, that's meaningless. Brandon, honestly, strategically, the Hutts have the advantage. The Bogan are fighting wars with the Republic, Jedi, and now the Hutts. They don't have a chance when the entire galaxy is against them. Period.

You're getting your canon mixed up. The Bogan have never and will never become the Sith. If they were the winners in this timeline, it would be that they eventually just died out or were beaten somewhere down the road. The Sith Empire was formed by Jedi who were expelled form the Order circa 7,000 BBY for using the dark side. It has nothing to do with the Bogan.

Anyways, that's meaningless. Brandon, honestly, strategically, the Hutts have the advantage. The Bogan are fighting wars with the Republic, Jedi, and now the Hutts. They don't have a chance when the entire galaxy is against them. Period.

The Bogan were never fighting a war with the Republic, not after the time skip. They had one battle with the Jedi. They lost 4 people in that battle.

The Bogan Empire barely has a dent in it. The Hutts are going up against the full force of the Bogan Empire. Can they destroy the infrastructure? Sure. Can they actively engage in guerilla warfare if it comes to that, while simultaneously fighting against the Republic and probably the Jedi? Good question. I lean towards no.

What'll most likely happen is that the Bogan lose their sector and go more guerilla warfare and more covert about their operations. They'll most likely have to rebuild themselves from the ground up, which will take considering their 'benefactor' wants them dead now.

Either way, my first statement stands. The "Empire" as an organization won't last. The Bogan themselves may survive and go onto guerilla warfare, but the Empire will collapse and then where will the faction be? It will have little of a chain of command left to follow, its members decimated by the war, and so on. Anyways, that's the last of my remarks on this subject. I don't want things getting too heated.

Well, the Hutts' move is a double edge sword. They may get rid of the Bogan, but they free up the Jedi's hands for the most part.

You take away their ability to wage effective warfare and they become a non-issue in the galactic theater; garrison the port-cities, exterminate any dissenters, starve the planets, and let them fight for their ruined planets. Even if they took all three planets back their ability to wage war would be utterly ruined.

Didn't the Hutts just initialize peace with the Jedi and Republic?

That's what I seem to gather from Sano's post, however, I could be wrong. We shall soon see, it seems.
