A sly grin crept across his face as he admired her spunk and youain'tsh*t demeanor. "Don't mind if I kriffin' do," Balur said as he reignited his crimson saber and stepped through the door. They were immediately met with goons eager to open fire on them, but Balur deflected as many shots as he could. Any stray bolts were up to her to dodge, as per usual. This time, however, instead of pulling out his blaster and pray-'n-sprayin' into the air, he decided to show off some of his nifty Force powers he spent his early life learning.
He quickly linked his spirit to the many pools of Force energy, full and ready for use, and gave himself a burst of speed as he dashed towards them. Within seconds, he was in front of them and hacking away with the ferocity of an enraged wookie. Some managed to pull out vibroblades and engaged him in swordplay, but he was skilled with his saber after spending many many years honing his combat prowess with a blade. If there was one thing he was good at, it was fighting with his lightsaber.
After he made mincemeat of the first group of cronies, another troop had piled into the hall from around the corner and immediately started shooting. He deflected what he could, but was careful of how he used his Force energy, considering the burst of speed took a fair amount to use. If he were to use another advanced trick like that, it would be to decimate Shoilen. He instead reserved to send a telekinetic blast down the hall that pushed them back, knocking many of them on their backs. That would give Aska time to make her way up towards him. Once they got through that hall full of enemies, they would need to navigate through the maze ahead to reach the first of the caches. Thankfully, his datapad with the schematics would provide a reliable map.
"Attention invaders- I mean, children playing hero," a voice over the station-wide intercom said in a mocking tone, "turn back now, and we'll let you leave this station alive! I'm watching you right now from my live feed, and I'm telling you, you aren't going to make it past that hallway alive!"
"Eat a headtail, Kryat-karker!" Balur yelled as he kept an eye on the men whose pistols were trained on him and his partner. He winked at them as he waited for their target to reply. "Ima make all of you fall over again. Just wait," he said to them.
"Kidd, do you even know who you're messing with?" The voice finally asked.
"I think your brother asked the same question, and then I cut off his arms before I dropped him in that rancor pit," Balur said. "Yeah, he's dead, by the way. Like, the not-
"I know he's kriffin' dead, you failure of a pirate!... What's my name?"
"Are you kriffin' stupid, Shoilen?" Balur asked sarcastically.
"Plug 'em with holes," Shoilen responded before cutting off the intercom. The men in the hall with Balur and Aska got ready to open fire while Balur got ready to deflect the blaster bolts back at them.
"Just leave some of them standing so I can push them over," Balur said to Aska.
