Personality: Caine is an intuitive fighter in battle, he doesn't read the battle or study it he feels it's flow and follows it allowing his opponents to present targets for him to destroy.
He's almost fanatically loyal to the Mandalorian ideals but hates how easily it can lead to a fractured people and so never agrees to serve other Mandalorians only agreeing to work along side them with the condition that he can leave at any time.
He is exceptionally courageous and loyal to those to whom he has given his world or those he considers to be kin carrying the importance of family with him from his time amongst the Skirita clan.
However he lacks empathy or mercy towards those who are not amongst his family often wiping out the crews of ships who were simply following orders for no other reason then it's simpler then taking them alive.
Biography:
Caine is a convert to Mandalore and does not come from a clan, as a child he heard tales of them and often felt that something was missing in his life. That he did not belong until the day he read the teachings of Mandalore and everything came together, his family were long dead, an uncle had taken him in but did not truly want him and made no effort to prevent him leaving when the time came.
He was adopted by a clanless warrior after months of sending unaswered messages and searching wherever he could to find one and trained by him. When his new father attempted to explain the technical details of equipment to him he was unable to truly understand it but when the weapon was placed in his hand he found it felt natural.
He found he had a natural gift for battle, given a blaster and in a matter of days he would be skilled enough with it to move on to a new one, in weeks he could wield it like a veteran warrior.
Next he moved on to more complex training, first in standard hand to hand combat, this took far longer for Caine to learn due to lack of muscle, then to fighting with a knife.
He lived for months at a time covered in bruises from his training but he grew larger, developed muscle and pushed himself through the pain determined to become Mandalorian or die trying, in an effort to help Caine master himself he was trained in the steel hands discipline, a fighting style created to allow those who lacked the force the ability to fight those who had it, a style his father decided he should learn so that one day should he ever face a force wielder he would be able to face them as an equal though the self control the style emphasized evaded Caines grasp. In his teenage years now well skilled with weapons of many kinds he began training in how to pilot a fighter.
Reflexes born of countless hours of combat training proved there worth as he discovered that much like all of his training if he pushed himself and didn't give up he could be great and he would accept nothing less.
As his father always said, why settle for the rest when you can be the best?
He fought during the wars like many Mandalorians did, lost more then a few friends in the process and he ever watched his father killed in battle high above a planet the name of which he never learned interested only in the battles that he would experience in taking it.
When the blockade cut him off from Mandalore and the only living Mandalorians that he knew he was lost, he began hunting Sith soldiers picking off a few wherever he could no clear purpose in mind beyond the desire to hurt the people who were trying to destroy his home.
This continued on for months with Caine travelling aimlessly from world to world in a T97 he had stolen from Sith forces who captured it from a rebel pilots who they had taken prisoner and executed until he heard of the Mandalorian Underground.
He was cut off from home but not from his people, Mandalore is an ideal, if he could not return to his home he could join them and help build a new one. He was quickly accepted into the underground after his past was confirmed and his skills earned him a place in training the young or new converts to the mando way a job which he enjoyed greatly.
But inside he still longs for nothing more then to take his blade to the Sith, to free his home and remove the Sith boot from it's throat. Training new warriors would do for now, it would allow him to raise forces and earn promotion until he was in a position to lead the way when they were prepared to take the war to the Sith.
