Hey kids!
I'd like some people to hit up an RP, or indeed a few thereof. Basically the point of this is to establish a new character, get him interacting and beginning his little story through the galaxy. Just ftr, his profile isn't up atm, and may not be for a little while (not that it's important as I'm going to tell you all the important stuff here).
So here's the deal:
He's a human in his mid twenties. He is force sensitive, and OOC he may well have been trained to a good level beforehand. However, he is an amnesiac, and has no recollection of his life past about a year before the current date in the RP. As if to confound his problems, despite not remembering his training (and thus not being able to control his abilities), in moments of extreme danger/high emotion/stress his subconscious almost takes over - he essentially blacks out and becomes a creature purely of instinct, incapable of reason, speech, and pretty much everything else except for action, and his subconscious can use the force. His amnesia is also irregularly recurrent, after these episodes, he can have forgotten anything from the details of the episode itself to whatever he's been up to the past month.
The RP I'm going to put up occurs as a kind of flashback, he's at the moment (as the first post will show) stranded on a small ship with a Jedi Padawan. The thread will begin "One week earlier..."
Just ftr I'm not going to control the RP to that end too much, wherever the RP ends up ending I'll add on how he and the padawan came to their current situation after, in the next stage of his story.
Here's the premise:
The past year he's lived with difficulty with the recurring amnesia and bouts of Jekyll 'n Hyde style madness. After realising that living in society as he was could not really work and in an attempt to stop causing harm to others he has travelled to Thyferra in an attempt to seek help, after hearing word of a Jedi-like order based there (the Shade Order), fearing that the Jedi would not trust him and the Bogan would try to use him if he sought either of them. He had been on-world for a few days with little avail when he was approached by a man attempting to offer him help. In reality, the man was a bounty hunter.
In lieu of his past actions, a galaxy-wide Bounty had been placed on his head, although with strict instructions that no payment would be provided if he were to die. In practice, several people are interested in his condition and wish to have him for study, legally or otherwise. In addition to the Bounty, the Jedi have also heard of his predicament and have despatched a Jedi Knight to make contact with him and try to persuade him to come willingly. Going feral at the attack from the Bounty Hunter, he fled into the wilds of Thyferra, eventually coming to a remote settlement of former outlaws. However, still in his feral state he attacked and wounded the first of the villagers to approach him, before fleeing into the wild.
The Jedi and Bounty Hunter both tracked him to the settlement, although arrived at separate times. The villagers, fearing the Jedi was of the same brutal intent as the quarry, elected to feed false information to become rid of the off-worlder; likewise, upon meeting the bounty hunter and learning of the heft prize for the man, certain members of the village hatched their own scheme. The village elder, a wily and deceitful man named Jorann, elected to use the men of the village to capture him themselves and claim their profit. In order to ensure that word of this did not spread, they murdered both the Jedi and Bounty Hunter in their sleep, having offered them refuge.
It's at this point the RP starts. I'll be playing my character, and will also NPC the village elder, Jorann. Sreeya will be joining as the padawan of the deceased Jedi, trying to find out what happened to her master. I'm happy for 2 or 3 more people to join, as long as they have a valid reason (so bounty hunters/mercs have the best reasons, but if you can come up with one for a character who isn't just interested in the bounty then I'm game).
If you're interested, post here and we'll work something out...oh and I know I said 2 or 3, but don't be put off if this does get any replies as, on the off chance more people are interested, it won't be first come first served.
