CARD PEOPLEZ. I have something for you to do.
The Corporation has a list of a few things we wish to acquire/complete within the next IC month:
1) Capture Force Sensitive Test Subjects
2) Construct and test a dedicated Anti-Force User combat droid prototype.
3) Research lightsaber resistant materials and devise a lightweight composite material that is a suitable replacement for cortosis or ultrachrome.
4) Make contact with potential recruits for the Security Bureau and Special Operations Legion, and induct said recruits into CARD.
What this means is this: Security people and Legionnaires; I need you guys in the field to get me test subjects -discreetly plz!- and getting your hands on potential recruits. Look for open threads [or ask, if you feel like sending PM's] and see about getting some new blood in. As for test subjects, be exceptionally careful before trying to capture anyone. Go for Padawan/Acolyte level Force Sensitives. [Note that if you're entering an 'Ask' thread to capture someone, let them know what your intent is when you ask permission to join. I don't want a major story arc for a char getting fussed up on account of us.]
As for you lot in R&D, get inventive. Start some threads and conduct some research. If you have an idea, no matter how crazy it is, make a thread on it and research it. Just make sure that ya let me know what you're up to!

If nobody claims Foreman, I wouldn't mind having the character I'm making after Dezmonariero Nnitrilyaje dies during the Ando Prime Invasion. I planned for the new character to be a Senator but I couldn't decide which planet for the character to be Senator for. I could easily have the character be the Senator of Eriadu, thus making delivery and secrecy better

Thanks to a handful of recent sales and a drove of fresh recruits, I am pleased to announce that CARD will be expanding! We will begin scouting for new locations for front companies, safe houses, and production sites; so Legionnaires, keep an eye on your PM inboxes.
We've also been making friends, friends who are going to give us a chance to get some trigger time in with our new combat vehicles and equipment. Again, keep an eye out - there'll be a sign-up thread for this once we're ready to rumble. I'll want two Legionnaires for it, and I'll be playing along with you lot.
Lastly, we're going to begin the process of hiring on new personnel. Expect to see 500 new recruits for Security, 200 new recruits for the Legion, and 20 new recruits for the Omega project. Also, expect to see 100 new administrative personnel and 900 new Production personnel to help accommodate our build-up. This is being funded by the recent sales we have made.
To give you guys a highlight of how the faction is doing right now, here's a list of our accomplishments:
-We sold a ship to Jade Armada for a tidy sum of credits, about $1 billion credits.
-We closed a deal for 4 Dante-class stealth fighters for about $1 billion creds.
-We purchased Nuka, a Jedi Master, from the Hutts and used her to develop a new breed of nanotechnological weapons, geared towards temporarily or permanently removing a Jedi's ability to tap into the force. [This is still in the prototyping stage. I have a mission planned for the R&D people that will finish this out and give us access to this weapon.]
Now, here's a list of things we need to get done:
-Acquire 2 new production facilities, preferably spaceborne
-Mobilize the mothballed fleet and secure enough funding and personnel to bring the destroyer back on-line. We will then upgrade the fleet with experimental, top-of-the-line weaponry and equipment which we will produce.
-Organize 1 armored company, composed of 20 BAU walkers, 5 Liberator battle tanks, and supported by 3 powered infantry companies, composed of 50 LANCE-equipped men apiece. Total cost should be below 60 mil, since we're building everything in-house.
-Secure new trade deals; one plan is to market, via a front company, our nanite-based medical systems to the Republic and the Jedi.
-Open the Ocelot project and begin selling combat augmentations to main factions.

Courtesy of Costa Industries, we now have the 'Hades Forge' modular drydock. Measuring in at 500 meters and capable of housing the average battle cruiser, the Forge is capable of being divvied up into multiple decks, each with its own automated production lines, turning it into a spaceborne factory. We will be using it to manufacture BAU's, Liberators, weapons, armor, and Dante stealth fighters. Delivery is pending - expect a thread soon.

Mkay, the dock is being delivered in this thread. Participation is completely optional, as CARD will never ever have a 'mandatory' thread because mandatory threads are mandated to suck. :3

Later I plan to have a battle between Republic forces vs. some pirates at an abandoned space station built into an asteroid. Nol Tsviets, Noblesse Oblige's facility manager, will witness the battle. The station's relatively undamaged so he'd be able to scout out the asteroid for CARD after the battle.

HEY PEOPLEZ. We're still on for all the missions we've planned out, and we're still on for our faction expansion plans. I've just been busy the last week or two, but all the craziness of school is dying out for me and things are going back to normal, so I hope to get us back on track by tomorrow, so stay tuned!
