HEIGHT: 6'7''
WEIGHT: 349 lb
EYES: Green
HAIR: Brown w/yellow streaks
CREDITS: 1,000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: A missing canine (top right)
DOMINATE HAND: Right
FORCE SENSITIVE: No

STRENGTH: Imagine a wookiee who has devoted his life to conditioning and fitness. (10/10)
DEXTERITY: Fleet of foot and agile, especially for a Wookiee. (5/10)
CONSTITUTION: As a wookiee, he is tough and heals quickly, and is regularly immunized. (7/10)
INTELLIGENCE: Technically oriented (5/10)
WISDOM: Perceptive and disciplined, yet shallow (6/10)
CHARISMA: Abraisive and loud (4/10)

SKILLS:

Natural climber
Intimidating figure
Experienced with explosives
Good at wilderness survival
Nice shot with a bowcaster, but he preferrs his bare hands.

UNARMED FORMS:

Chalwaar fights with a mix of Wookiee Wruushi and an early form of Teras Kasi. His form involves twirling dodges, feints, and maneuvering, followed up by powerful, full-strength counterattacks that involve using the opponent's weight and momentum against him to set him up for brutal blows against the head and joints. Combining his technique with his strength, he can potentially break bones and render opponents harmless with a single lightning strike.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

Physically, Chalwaar is very capable. From self defense to climbing, swimming, long marches, flat out sprints, there aren't many equals. But he is, unfortunately, socially inept. To others, he comes off as abrasive, loud, and intrusive, and has little patience for politics.

-Belt, pouched
---Bowcaster quarrels, 2 (10 shots each)
---Trail rations (3 days' worth)
---Water purification straw
-Poncho, camoflauge

-Ryyk blade (ceremonial)
Misc.

PERSONALITY:

Chalwaar, like any Wookiee, is fiery and rash. Like all Wookiees, his life is bound by an extreme sense of honor. Chalwaar fights for the Republic out of the memory of his father. Since his adopted, human father died in its defense, Chalwaar by extention believes that to die in the service of the Republic like him is the ultimate honor. (Of course, his deepest loyalty lies with the memory of his father, not the Republic). Chalwaar speaks seldom [except when he's drunk on Viserian Brandy, his favorite), and is brutally honest, blundering (and indeed, not caring) about social taboos.]
Chalwaar can't stand battle droids in general, and takes every oppertunity to tear them up with his prodigious strength. As aforementioned, he wants to be just like his father, and therefore tries to be patient, brave, and noble when his Wookiee nature would otherwise dictate. His time in training has made it a little easier, as he's been broken to the pecking order. He controls himself easily when a superior slap-talks him, gritting his teeth and moving along. One day, perhaps he will be the one giving the orders, and not the other way around.

HISTORY:

Chalwaar was born on Kashyyyk. What he doesn't remember is that his parents were conspirators and killed in battle by the Republic, and he, as an infant, was taken in by one of the footmen growing soft.
He does know that the footman, an honorable man named Vyn'terik Mossa, raised Chalwaar on Fondor, training Chalwaar in the art of hand-to-hand combat more then anything else. Vyn'terik's ultimate dream was for Chalwaar to take up in his footsteps once he "went out in flame and glory".
Indeed, when Vyn'terik's troop carrier was shot down over Coruscant, his dream came to fruition, and when Chalwaar heard of the tragic news, he packed up his things and enlisted with the Republic. Under training, though, he found it was harder than he had originally expected. Under a sniper team captain, Chalwaar had the importance of stealth, subtlety, and silence inculcated into his head, and he now stands as a full-fledged vanguard of the Army of the Republic, impatiently awaiting his first deployment.

How can we not have a Dantooine? :CShock:Taras Kasi, I can understand. Well, I'll just be changing that, then... But we need a Dantooine. Seriously, folks...

Yup, they live to be 400 years old. But Chalwaar wasn't raised in Wookiee society.

Doesn't matter. He would be pint sized. (By wookiee standards.)

"After birth, a Wookiee grew very fast, fully conscious and able to walk unassisted within one standard year."

I think that would count all the way to maturity.

Wait a sec, do Wookiees even have family names?

No, not normally. Their naming system is like that of the Native American's, with names Shyriiwook for things like Crying Brook, Running Deer, etc. Chalwaar is Shyriiwook for Silent Hunter. He keeps the surname "Mozza" out of respectful memory of his human father, Zikri'vys Mozza.

You can't out-Wookiee-knowledgify me. I will pwn any challengers who dare stick their necks out. You're welcome to try, though.
