Onara's sister had been kidnapped. Worst of all she was kidnapped by a Sith! And then that Sith had contacted her and and started making demands! It was frankly uncalled for. Her sister was a civilian and was providing humanitarian aid to those effected by conflict, kidnapper her just proved exactly how evil the Sith were, and why Onara was convinced they had to be removed from the galaxy. What is even worse is the Sith scum had demanded they meet in person! Wasn't it enough that she had to be blackmailed and embarrassed over a comlink, he had to gloat in person, this was not what Onara had imagined her first few days as Senator would look like.

As well as being worried about her poor sister being in the clutches of the Sith she was also worried that this was just an excuse to get her out of Republic controlled space to also be kidnapped or killed, you never know with these kinds of things she supposed, but she couldn't risk the life of her sister. Onara had grabbed the pilot that the Senate had sent to take her to Chandrila and had him take her to the meeting place the Sith had designated. Borgo Prime. Her pilot was confused at the request but she explained it was for a personal errand that needed to be completed before she continued on to Chandrila. The pilot said he didn't mind as it was his job to fly Senators around and he would take her to where ever she needed to be.

They soon arrived on Borgo Prime. Onara told her pilot to remain in the ship while she took care of some business and to keep the ship prepped and ready to leave as soon as she returned. She took a few deep breaths to calm her nerves and left the ship, heading to the meeting place the Sith had designated. The Sith was there like he said he would be, she stopped when she was about ten feet away from him and crossed her arms in front of her chest, her chin tilted up in defiance as she tried not to show exactly how afraid she was. "You couldn't just blackmail and threaten me and my sister from the comlink, you needed to gloat about it in person?" She snapped at him, trying to keep her voice from wavering.

The corridor was hollow. Sullied metal and blotched floors were all that accompanied its narrow expanse. It might not have been personally ideal for Eryn. but it certainly provided an impeccable location for him and the dutiful Senator to finally meet. With his arms crossed underneath the auburn guise of his cloak, and his weapons holstered simply out of discretion, he approached the clearly defiant Togrutan.

"Senator Onara, it's a pleasure." The words glissaded from the arch of his lips, affable and genuine alongside a ceremonious bow. "I've asked that we meet in person merely out of respect. It's far more polite to talk in face-to-face, instead of hiding beneath the semblance of a comlink."

His laced arms soon uncoiled amongst themselves, opening up to nudge the Senator down the extensive passage. "Please, walk with me, Miss Onara."

Although it sounded like a request than that of a demand, it would have been imprudent to deny the invitation of a notorious Sith - especially one with a hostage. With his hand smoothly relaxed over the illustrious woman's shoulder, he proceeded to saunter alongside her down the hall. Rather than launch forward with threats and blackmail of his own, Eryn held his tongue in place. No doubt, the woman must have had questions bristling through her mind, and it was pure courtesy in allowing her to speak first.

The Sith was actually walking towards her! She stiffened when he got near and couldn't help but shiver when he nudges her forward. Should she go with him? What if he was just luring her somewhere more secluded so that he could take her as well, or kill her? All these things were running threw her head and the idea of just running was right behind them. Onara couldn't run, her sisters life was hanging in the balance and she would do almost anything to make sure she was safe.

Onara briskly knocked is the Siths arm off of her shoulder and smoothed down her robes, doing her best to make sure the terror she was feeling didn't show, though she knew she was only partially succeeding. "I did not say you could touch me, nor have the pleasure of letting my first name slide our of that vile mouth of your. Senator Va will do just fine for this occasion." she said as coldly as she could manage, her eyes glaring daggers into the cloaked man. She may have felt comfortable enough to do that but she still followed his instructions and walked slowly down the hallway, back straight and head held high.

"It seems very reckless and dangerous to meet in person, you risk both out lives by doing so in my humble opinion, if the Republic found out about this meeting they may try to ambush you or they would lock me up for interrogation, then you wouldn't have anyone to blackmail anymore." She glanced over at him once more while they walked. "I am also very busy so I would like to make this quick." she ventured, wondering if she was stepping over a line with this last demand. "What do you want from me, money, information, votes? Tell me quickly so I may go back to work."

Her words sank in. Treble, shrill, and severe. This was a woman not to be trifled with. Although, the same went for any Senator of the Republic.

His arm drifted back to his side after Onara nudged it away, but rather than threaten her defiant response, he offered a forbearing smile. Benevolence was an aspect too commonplace for him to possibly ignore, and he would make no exception in this case. After all, he had kidnapped the Togrutan's sole sister and was personally blackmailing her upon the edge of Republic space."Alright. I understand then, Senator Va. So be it."

Another bout of silence. Beleaguering and stiff, the reticence was to be expected from Eryn. As a man not merely of chivalry, but as one riddled of profound thoughts, there were a myriad of accounts for his amicable composure. It would prove no different in this case. Many manners and forms of blackmail, such as access to clandestine Republic operations and databases, the opportunity of covert assaults, and endless supplies of credits. However, he found little need for such tremendous demands. For now, he would have only a singular request.

"I will be brief then, if you so desire. All I am here for is to ask that you personally seek a peaceful resolution to this misshapen war. Attempt to convince your colleagues in the Senate, or whatever you see fit, and your sister will return safely."

When the sith scum made his demand Onara stopped in her tracks, looking at him as if he had just said with complete confidence that the sky was actually red and she was wrong her entire life. "Excuse me?" She said in complete bafflement. "You... a SITH want me to try and find a peaceful resolution to this war? Despite the fact that the republic didn't start it in the first place, your sith peers did? How do you expect me to stop a war that your people started and continue to take part in? The second I could get any kind of cease in military action the sith would just attack us once more.

"What you are asking me is far more unreasonable then any kind of information or money and frankly I believe it is completely impossible from my side of the war, that is something you would have to work out with your leaders, if they would listen to you without accusing you of treason and execute you that is."

She scoffed at him and turned her back to him, idly adjusting her lekku as she did so. "There are very few people currently in the senate who would vote for peace at this point and even if we did you would still have the Jedi to contend with, I have no power over them and I doubt they would stop the war even if the republic did so.." She turned back around to face him, arms crossed over her chest. "But as I stated before, this war is the fault of the Sith and until they cease attacking Republic and Jedi held territories there will be no end to this war until one side or the other losses. I cant help but think you are completely insane after that request."

"I'm not insane, only hopeful." He quipped. A thin smile snaked around the fringes of his jowl. Dappled eyes gazed at the woman peculiarly, a hint of plea bristling underneath. Her comment had come to pain him the most. Not because it was brusque nor insulting, but rather it was the somber truth Eryn had so hoped to evade. The Brotherhood had started this war, and perhaps it was only they who could end it. Nevertheless, he held close such idealistic intentions. He would not take no for an answer, especially at the hands of a truculent Togrutan politician. If the woman would not accept neither his reason nor request, then he would have to resort to petty threats: like that of any other Sith.

"Alright then, Senator Va." The stifled beam was quick to diminish at his words, and his features shifted to a far more austere manner. "Would you prefer I return your sister by individual body parts or would you just like a bag of her ashes? I mean, it's the least I could do for you."

Although it typically pained him to turn to such crude intimidation, Eryn almost found it satisfying. To be the one in power; to be the one in control. Either the Senator would concede to his entreaty, or accept the death of her sister.
