Clovoc Duelling Armour​

Generally near identical to the better known regular clovoc armour, clovoc duelling armour is most often used in the grand tournaments hosted by clovocs in order to attract potential patrons to their service. To suit this purpose, the armour is stripped of all functions that might offer its user an unfair advantage in battle, so as to ensure that these ritual duels are won as a result of the winner's own skills. As this has resulted in a slight improvement in terms of mobility, Kyuzo who focus on close combat have been known to prefer it over its counterpart.​

INTENT​

I wanted to make armour that fit the same aesthetic as the regular clovoc armour, while also adding a bit of flavour relating to a part of the lore that I enjoy greatly. I also wanted the armour to be usable by force users.​

Type: Medium Armour.

Coverage:

• Head: Open faced disk helmet and neck/mouth covering gorget or faceplate.
• Chest: Plastoid breastplate
• Back: Plastoid back plate
• Hands: Plastoid bracers. This part of the armour is occasionally made of phrik alloy.
• Feet: Shin guards.

Function 1: Translator (Quality of Life)

• Due to the biological difficulties involved in speaking basic, many Kyuzo have basic, single language translators built into their faceplates specifically to facilitate such communications.
