Name: Corin Zanith
Faction: Sith Empire
Rank: Sith
Species: Human
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Force Sensitive: Yes

Appearance: Corin is of above average height, rounding out around 6'3. He has light brown hair and blue eyes, as well as an angular face. He is on the underweight side, rarely eating when he has the time. He has light skin, one of the few things he got from his parents. From a battle in his youth, he received a scar crossing all the way from his left eye to chest. This leads him to cover his face in public at all times with a mask, forged in the image of his adopted people.

Personality: Corin is a quite and withdrawn, rarely speaking to those he does not know. It is not that he is shy, its just he has little care or patience to speak to those he sees as foolish. He is slow to react to his anger, instead taking time to think things through. However, when he does commit to a fight, he does so whole heartedly. He spares no time for mercy or regret, and the few people who have dared cross him have ended up dead.

His upbringing and teaching at the hand of Kaleesh people has brought a sense of honor and loyalty to Corin's mind, albeit in a twisted way. Those he calls his allies receive the full measure of his support, and those who harm his compatriots are often not alive long enough to consider their actions. Another aspect of his upbringing is a dedication to war in all its aspects. Any moment he is not fighting, he is training, or seeking further knowledge in his pursuit of power.

Biography: Corin was born to the Zanith Collective, a small ring of smugglers in the outer regions of the galaxy. His parents, and their extended family were the best smugglers in their sector, taking jobs and deals wherever they were. This however eventually led them to become targets of a bounty hunter, sent by a former job. His parents ship was shot down over the world of Kalee, with Corin the only survivor. He was found by one of the many Kaleesh tribes on the planets western hemisphere. He was weak, and dying, not to mention an alien. Most of the search party opted to just put him out of his misery, but the shaman of the group stepped in, and decided to save the boys life. He was taken back to their tribe, and nursed back to health.

From that moment forward, Corin Zanith became a member of the tribe. He became the shamans personal ward, and he was trained in his mystic arts, a type force power that Corin had a strong connection to. He was also trained with the other children of the village to be a warrior of the tribe, to fight the constant and unending tribal wars spread across the planet. By the age of fifteen, he was already one of the tribes best warriors, and next in line to become a shaman apprentice once the current one became a full shaman. However, as things tend to go, calamity fell. An invasion by another tribe led to full war between the two, leading Corin to fight numerous skirmishes against the invaders. Nearly two weeks of combat saw little gain for either side, until a night raid by the invaders overwhelmed the weakened tribe camp. Corin was only able to get the shaman out of the village, wounded. In his dying breath, he gave Corin a map, with a location to an ancient temple. Corin left the remnants of his home, and set out for the location.

He traveled for many months to the location, seeing countless tribes fighting and killing each other for no purpose. His anger grew with every battle he found, until he finally reached the location on the map. An ancient temple, dedicated to the first Warrior King of Kalee, the first and last warrior to unite the entire world under one banner. Inside, Corin found countless relics, with links to the dark side of the force. He spent many years in the temple, learning its secrets, and growing more powerful. With little training or true understanding of the subjects in the temple, Corin made very little progress in understanding the temple. In the end, the only thing of note he was able to discover was an ancient lightsaber, from a Kaleesh Sith in ages past. Corin took the blade for himself, and departed the temple.

He repaired his parents old ship, and left the world of Kalee. He set out in to the galaxy, to seek more knowledge of the dark side, and expand his power. Among the relics in the ancient temple Corin learned of the existence of other dark side users, and tales of Kaleesh travelling across the stars to join them. Corin decided to do the same, and after months of travel, he came to the outskirts of the Sith Empire. Corin eventually landed on a planet within the Empire, where he stayed for a time. One day, a Sith that had arrived on the planet sensed Corin's connection to the force. He tracked him down, and the two spoke at length for some time. Corin eventually left the world with the Sith, becoming his apprentice, if in an unofficial capacity.

Gear: Corin has a metal mask, linked in to his suit of armor. It is the mask made similar to those of the Kaleesh, and shows his upbringing and loyalty to the Kaleesh people. He also carries with him a saberstaff, with an orange saber color, instead of the customary Sith red.

Ships: Corin owns an outdated and heavily modified vessel of his parents own design, a Z-14 Phantom, based around the famous design of the YG-300. It is heavily armed and armored for a smuggler vessel, relying on surprise and firepower to break through any obstacles in its path.

I'm no Sith expert, so imma tag ---tags---. Also, the YT-1300 isn't around yet, so you can't base your ship's design around it. Here's a more current era appropriate design (you don't have to use it, just thought I would suggest it): http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/yg-300-light-freighter.64516/.

Ayup.
My main concern here is that there is no explanation as to how this guy joins the sith. He's just sort of adrift in the galaxy by the end and he's mastered numerous techniques that would be considered precious secrets of the Sith including the forging of a lightsaber and the creation of red crystals.

I need more details here. Fill this in and explain how this guy goes from his previous life to serving in an authoritarian empire.

...aaaand you've got the yt thing covered so I'll leave that to you.

Also @Vinny, Sorry, I checked the roster and your name didn't have AFL next to it, so I was confused and didn't tag you.

The sith saber and crystals come from the accounts of Kaleesh warriors who had connections to the force, and joined the Sith. Corin copied their teachings the best he could from what he was given, and based the saber itself on old designs drawn.

However, on looking back at the idea, I agree he probably wouldn't be able to accomplish that. Rewrote it to be that he found an ancient lightsaber from a former Kaleesh Sith.

Sorry for errors, as well, this is my first character for the site. I can rewrite all of it if needed.

I've always been a fan of the Kaleesh. Quite a tragic history in store for them, still a few centuries ahead, before and during the Clone Wars.

Definitely a good basis for a character.
