Correlian suicide (Open)

[Jedi man]

Ja turned and walked towards the cantina still slightly angry at Basilak but he turned his anger into a feeling of fear and stepped into the cantina he approached the wookie bowing profusely,"S, sir my master. He becomes a little wild when he is drunk I think he, um, stole this from you." Ja handed the Jedi the data chip,"Please excuse him sir he is a very good man inside." Ja hoped the ruse worked.

 

[Matt]

"How about you drop your act!"

Dewbecca caught on right away and he was most annoyed, one thing that he loathed was being taken as a moronic savage, his Shirywook was nothing more then a roar but his translateer got across his emotion fairy well. It was easy to try and mask ones true appearance but the left overs of some military life was fairly easy to see, the appearance and off cause the smell. Dewbecca was still a wookiee after all and this man did not smell like a slave....In fact he smelt far different.

[Trakon]

Basilak had come back following Ja to make sure everything went smooth.But when the Wookiee became angry Basilak showed himself. "We are a couple of force using bounty hunters who decided to team up once we found out a Jedi Master was working on Correllia. Our job was to find and kill the person who could have did anything to the admiral. Here is the proof if you want it." Basilak pulled out a datapad with a bounty for killing the person who could have caused the admiral's death. Fortunately it had just literally come out.

 

[Matt]

"Who hired you"

Dewbecca was still very skeptical, there seemed to be very little logic behind hiring two bounty hunters to hunt down the mans murderer when the correlians were trying to keep it secret, also why would they off bothered informing the order. Dewbecca kept his guard up bit despite this did not think that a the bounty hunters formed ay immediate threat to him.....Though they better not think about patting him again.

 

[Trakon]

"Don't worry it was a one time trick. And to be very honest, it is anonymous. They set a time and date as to where they need to be met at and we had to get the info asap. We saw a Jedi and decided if we could get that info from you we would get the reward."

 

[Matt]

"Ah, that explains it.....Money. Well I would greatly appreciate it you do not attempt to steal anything from me again now"

*He turned rather disgruntled by the entire episode, not only had he lost a lot of time but he was sure that the correlians did not truly trust him, now it was time to stop all these shenanigans and get back down to business that he as set*

"I bid you farewell"

*He began to walk off into the distance, the many commuters and dock workers walking briskly either side....This place was so busy with so many people, a needle in a hey stack came to mind indeed.*

 

[Jedi man]

Ja turned to Basilak,"Good one. I think we got one over on him." Ja grinned,"Now what should we start doing."

 

[Trakon]

"Well when you do stuff like that for a living you learn quick or die trying." Basilak turned around and started to march back to the ship.

 

[Jedi man]

Ja followed Basilak up the ramp,"So,what now?"

 

[Trakon]

"Basically we try to not attract the wookiee's attention and we continue on with our mission." They had arrived at Basilak's ship and as they enter he sat down and motioned for Ja to do the same. "Now we can sort of talk a little. How's that resentment and anger towards me going?"

 

[Jedi man]

"It could be going better," Ja grinned,"but your just to useful. How's being leader going for you?"

 

[Trakon]

"It's horrible. But-" he said motioning to the data pad, "we may have found a suspect to the apparant 'suicide'." The data contained a set of suspects that would be able to do this and at the top of the list was a man who built ships. A worker whohad contact with the Admiral in a meeting a few short hours before his death.

 

[Jedi man]

"Let's go check it out"

Thirty Minutes Later

Ja looked out of the speeder window as theyset down in front of a ship building yard. Ja stepped out crossing the distance between him and the small shop that served as customer services in a few quick strides. He opened the door and stepped in,"Is there a Gregory Manson, here?" "Yes, hold on while I go and fetch him." The woman scurried off into the back of the area and Ja turned to Basilak,"You want to talk to him?"

 

[Trakon]

"If you think that's what I'll do to him then no. I want the information." Basilak had smiled at the statement and slipped his small knife out. "I think some force may be required." Basilak could see the two people inside arguing and then the man walked down stairs.

"Hi I'm Gregory Manson. You wanted me?"

 

[Jedi man]

"Yeah my Master has a problem with this peice," Ja held out his hand although nothing was there so the man would have to lean to see what it was giving Basilak the chance to grab hold of him and make him talk.

 

[Trakon]

As the man reached out to look at what was in Ja's hand, Basilak jumped him quickly immobilizing his hands. "Now you will talk or you will be in pain, clear?"

The man quickly nodded his head. "Why did you meet with the Admiral that just so happened to commit 'suicide'?"

 

[Jedi man]

"He, uh wanted a ship, and I, uh sell ships so there." The man was lying and he hoped the Jedi wouldn't notice.

 

[Trakon]

"I beleive you are lying to us." Basilak took out his knife and slowly pressed it into the man's neck. Blood started to come out but it was only a prick. "Tell us what it was or you get a nice tattoo."

 

[Jedi man]

"I don't know,' the man spilled,"he wanted a part and came to me for it, it wasn't standard though so it must have been for himself, while I was getting it he complained a lot about something but I wasn't paying attention so I guess I wouldn't know why," the man was panicky, but he wasn't lying,"I didn't think Jedi were supposed to do this!"

 

[Trakon]

"Who said we were jedi?" Basilak moved the blade an got into position to cut the man's throat.
