Master Grima Volitu stood in the centre of the Temple on Korriban letting all her memories, both good and ill, come flooding back to her. It was here that her journey through the Dark Side had begun and it was here on Korriban that she survived not one but two different Master's teachings. One taught her patience and how to curb her anger and her brutality. The other, taught her how to kill and manipulate others through the Force. She had learned alot from her time as their Apprentice but now she was a Sith Master and one of her former Masters was missing; the other presumed dead.

Discarding the memories of a young Togruta girl, she moved through the Temple, first stopping at the administration office to make sure what she asked for had been completed and then from there she headed toward the rear exit and left the Temple behind. She was hosting a class on Force Corruption and though she could have taught it inside one of the hot and stuffy rooms of the Temple, she chose, like always, to conduct the class or lessons inside one of the tombs in the Valley of the Sith Lords. She headed toward the tomb and resting place of the Sith Lord Ajunta Pall, one of the greatest Sith Alchemists and Sorcerers, where today her class will be held.

She entered the sacred tomb and felt the stirrings of the Dark Side welcome her. The tomb had gone through a complete make over since her last visit to the Dark Lord's tomb with the Sith winning the war and now dominating the galaxy. She cursed under her breath at the changes for the Sith were conquerors, destroyers. Not builders! She entered the tomb where two Imperial guards stood watch over a lone prisoner, a left over from the last war with the Jedi and their puppet masters the G.A.

She felt the fear from the prisoner and just as the tomb welcomed her, she welcomed his emotion. Fear was her favourite emotion. You can feed off it, manipulate it, and properly used; can be turned into a weapon against your foes.

Though this was not the first time Sin'ryk Nalessh had visited the Valley of the Dark Lords, he still felt as if the Dark Side energies that coalesced in this ancient place welcomed him home. The ancient tombs of Sith Lords past, though an outsider would say otherwise, these tombs still held the glory of the distant past. Ever since he was brought here, Sin'ryk has called Korriban home and felt as though the planet embraced. Alas, the Acolyte did not come here to revel in the magnificence of the ancestors, but to learn the arts of Force corruption from the famed Togruta Sith Witch, Grima Volitu. Accordingly, he and his fellow Acolytes were to meet her in the tomb of the very first Dark Lord, Ajunta Pall who arrived so on Korriban with the other Jen'Jidai Exiles so long ago. As the Pureblood arrived at the entrance to the tomb, he noticed that the stone with which it was made seemed. He shook his head, somewhat angry at the White Sith for profaning their spiritual-and his cultural- legacy. Unfortunately, as a mere Acolyte, he could do nothing save watch their the tombs of the ancients be changed, rather than mere structural maintenance. Sin'ryk's tendrils quivered slightly, but he set it aside in pursuit of today's goal. As he entered Pall's tomb, he looked down upon his hands. The Red Sith of Yinchorr, being primarily descended from the Sorcerers of Tund, were among the purest of their kind to survive today; his tridactyl hands were proof of that. The blood of the Jen'Jidai was introduced when refugees from the Great Hyperspace War. As a result, the Acolyte began to ponder whether or not the blood of the these Exiles flowed through his veins; if it did, it seems to be in negligible amounts if the Pureblood's appearance indicated anything.

Snapping himself out of his musings, the Acolyte walked at a respectful pace within this hallowed location. The deeper Sin'ryk went, the more he could feel the power of the Dark Side within the tomb; it spoke volumes about the Dark Lord whose bones were interred here. Such was his power, the Dark Side lingered here long after Ajunta Pall's death and burial. The Red Sith could her whispers within the ancient walls, beckoning him deeper into the heart of the tomb. As he walked into the heart of the place, flicking his long, crimson hair aside, the Pureblood caught sight of a Togruta and a prisoner. There was no doubt, this had to be Master Volitu and her test subject for the lesson. Sin'ryk, tridactyl right hand across his heart, bowed to the Sith Witch.

"Tyûk uhn asha, my Lady; Sin'ryk Nalessh of the Yinchorr Red Sith has come to seek your wisdom in the Dark Side."

Korriban. This was Tsisaar's first time on the home planet of his species, the cold desert world that had given birth to the Sith and had, for so long, been a focal point of the Dark Side and their training...the source of the Empire's true power, even if it was not the seat of government. Certainly an interesting world, though he wasn't there to explore, he was there to learn. So he quickly passed through the temple there, jogging to the Valley of the Dark Lords. And upon seeing it, he wasn't quite pleased.

The tombs - and the valley itself - had not gone through the ages unaltered. No, they had been altered quite a bit, and not in ways that were pleasing to Tsis. To see the tombs of his ancestors fooled with by the hands of these unappreciative others...Ah, but it was no matter. He strode to the tomb of Ajunta Pall, going through the spacious entrance...and again he frowned at the alterations made. Moving through the tomb, he quickly came to where the master hosting the lesson, Grima Volitu, was.

"Master Volitu," he said quietly, bowing. "I am Tsisaar Taral. Thank you for taking time to teach, today."

Another day another class. Raslekx had been training on Korriban for a very long time. He had taken many classes to this point. Most with the teacher being of the rank master or lord and this was no exception. Today's class was to be on Corruption and taught by another sith master. Having only finished his 'Homework' from master Xanthus the night before he was ready to move on with his training to become a full sith.

Walking towards the Tomb of Ajunta Pall were the class was to be held he was starting to wonder what this Master would be like. Most of his teachers to this point hadent been incredibly mean. Weather that was an act for the acolytes he had no idea but would this one be the on that took no mistakes? Unsure he decided that he would just have to try and not make any mistakes. Walking into the tomb he looked at the tomb it was fascinating how they maintained the tombs. Seeing the master and two other students waiting for him he walked towards the master and bowed as he always did at the start of a class and said "Master I am Raslekx Kongure I wish to be your student"

Grima stood in silence as the first of her students appeared, a male pure-blood Sith. Like this student, most alien species including Togrutas where shun against the teachings of the Dark Side when the humans began to dominate the Sith Order but times had changed and now the Order accepted all who wished to study the Dark Side. "Welcome Acolyte Nalessh," Grima said as she measured his power in the Force and the Dark Side through a quick scan. He was powerful but he still had much more growing to do.

Then to her surprise, yet another pure blood Sith had entered the tomb of Ajunta Pall. So the rumours were true, the Sith species was making a return to the galaxy. For centuries it was believed that they had been extinct but in truth, they were oppressed by the humans of the Sith Order for way to long. Now, they were rising through the ranks of the Order and one day the humans will fear the real Sith. When the Acolyte bowed after introducing himself, she reached out through the Force and gripped his throat, lifting him off his feet as he struggled to find his breath. "You are Sith! You never bow to anyone or show submission except the Empress for she commands it. And you are of the Sith species, you should know what damage comes from submitting to another." Grima releases her hold on him and he drops to the floor, landing on his feet as she continues, "Now, Acolyte Taral you are welcome but do not waste my time since you find it necessary to thank me for taking time to teach you."

Just as she finished speaking with Acolyte Taral, her last of her students arrived, a male Arkanian, arrived and like the Sith before him made the mistake to bow before her. She sighed under her breath and in a blur thrust her hand out, fingers splayed, and unleashed the blue and white energy from her fingertips known as Force Lightning. The Dark Side power hit and engulfed the Acolyte causing him to drop to the tomb floor and shudder. When he recovered, she said, Sith bow to nothing or no one except the Empress! As Sith, we command others to bow to us...those that are weak...and those that have no purpose in life but to serve us. To bow to another Sith shows weakness and some in our Order would pounce on the chance to end a potential rival for fear that one day you will grow more powerful than them. Fear keeps our Order in line....and fear should always be your motive to gain power and knowledge from the Dark Side."

Grima stands over the male called Raslekx Kongure looking into his eyes, "You wish to be my student do you? We shall see how well you learn then." Grima turns around and allows him to rise to his feet. With all that out of the way she is ready to begin the class.

"Tell me Acolytes, what do you know of Force Corruption?"

Sin'ryk watched with surprise as the Sith Witch used the Force on his classmates an act which said one thing: that she is the type for harsh lessons, for they embed teachings far deeper than most methods through the usage of pain. Master Volitu rebuked them, reminding his fellow Red Sith the damage submission to others has caused to their race. With the Arkanian, that the Sith Order bows to no-one but the Empress, that the act shows fear when a Sith shows none. Satisfied that her words left their mark, among other things, the Togruta Witch then asked the asked the assembled Acolytes a question.

"Tell me Acolytes, what do you know of Force Corruption?"

The Red Sith pondered this question well, Master Phurris explained the nature of this power in what seemed like a lifetime ago.

"Before I joined the Sith Order, the Tribal Sorcerer I was apprenticed to told me that this power stems from the desire to dominate others. Performed correctly, Force Corruption imposes your will upon them. Making them hold your values and beliefs is a more powerful weapon than simple mind control, for they would fight with the same zeal you would for your ideals. Depending on the ability of the user, at the very least they would temporarily under your sway. Masters of the technique, such as Lord Vitiate of the then-Reborn Sith Empire, could even turn Jedi Masters to the Dark Side such was their power. Anyone else have anything else to add?"

After introducing himself in much the same manner as he had seen Sin'ryk do mere seconds before him, Tsisaar found himself hoisted by the neck into the air. It didn't take him long at all to realize what was happening, as soon as his airway closed off; the Witch was choking him, of course. And speaking about how he should bow to none but the Empress...had Tsis not been floating three feet off the ground, he'd have snorted in amusement. Perhaps a salute might have gone down better, to show a modicum of respect...

But beneath the humour was anger. It was demeaning, being held up like this due to a simple friendly gesture...And for no reason other than the fact that this woman wanted to lecture about just who he should bow to - or to think he was submitting to her with the show of respect. Two different things, submission and respect, and when one confused them, well, it looked like another got choked.

Dropping to the floor and landing easily on his feet, Tsisaar resisted the urge to growl. He wasn't an animal, he was Sith, and if this Witch felt it necessary to impose her opinions on him, so be it; he had lived with worse before, and he would continue to do so. For now, he'd simply answer the questions that came his way.

"Many consider it to be an expansion of the mind trick ability, and for good reason," the acolyte said quietly, frowning. "Similar to the ability to cause fear in others, it moves beyond simple persuasive abilities."

It happened so fast. He had bowed and not even a second later he had been shocked with the Dark Side power called Force Lightning. This was not the first time he had been shocked before but never for bowing to a master. He had seen other acolytes be shocked for not bowing and for not respecting just a Crusader but to be shocked by a master for bowing? The idea seemed far away but here it was. The explanation the master gave once he had recovered did make sense. He had always been very respectful to the people more powerful then himself. If that was not the way of all sith he would have to find some way of figuring out who did want bowing and who did not. Thinking perhaps Master Xanthus could help him in a class he might teach in the future he moved his attenuation to the Master as he stood back up.

There was no anger from him he still had his control and it didnt even start to slip. Her question had been one he hadent a very good answer to and the first Acolyte that answered had a great one. The second sith who looked a bit out of breath maybe having bowed as well added a small amount to the answer and it left Raslekx with nothing so say. He looked at the Master and said " The other two Acolytes explained well I have nothing to add to that" Though this time he readied himself for more lightning if she didnt like his response.

"Force Corruption is more than just a mind trick...it is pure and complete domination of another; breaking and bending their will to serve you. Through this power, you can do more than just have someone agree with your ideas, you can turn your enemy to your ally using them against their friends. Anyone can kill and one does not need be a Sith to do so, but to turn your enemy to your cause making them serve you is the greatest victory you can hold over them. Everyone can and at one time hold a purpose to you, then when they no longer have a use, then simply kill them. Why....cause as Sith we have enough enemies amongst ourselves so there is no need to breed more," Sith Master Volitu said.

She looked at the three students individually knowing that the two she had to punish may hold anger or ill will toward her but she did not care. She was slightly offended that the two she was forced to punish did not move against her. She taught her current Apprentices and her former Apprentice that they should never allow another to dominate them as such. But she was not these two individuals Masters so she let it go.

Clasping her hands behind her back, she continued, "Like all Force powers dealing with the minds of others, you will come across such species that are immune to such Force techniques. Hutts and Toydarians are two such species. Their greed for...well, everything acts like a mental block. Also, individuals with strong wills can resist your attempts to turn them but everyone has a breaking pointe and if you meet someone whose will can not be broken at first, then you may need to resort to desperate measures and how you do that is entirely up to you."

Grima motions for the prisoner to be brought before her. He is handed a blaster with no power cell and the second it is put into his hands he tries to shoot the Sith Master. She quickly slips into his mind grasping it in her mental hands, holding it and reshaping it. After a couple of seconds, the prisoner lowers the weapon and stands next to her looking at the three Acolytes. "A mental nudge here or mental suggestion there is all it takes to break the minds of such soldiers. Now he is under my control and will do anything I ask. However, the power is not absolute so if you allow yourself to be occupied mentally you can lose your hold on your target or targets. As you grow stronger in the Dark Side, you will be able to manipulate greater numbers of targets at once."

Releasing her hold on him, the prisoner shakes his head realizing where he is and tries again to shoot at the Sith. With a push through the Force Grima knocks the prisoner to the ground. Walking over to the three students, she says, "Now, let us see what you three can do."

Sin'ryk looked at the prisoner, so resolute in his hatred of the Sith, so determined to kill the one who had violated his mind. A pity, no doubt, that it would be done so again. The Pureblood wormed his inward through a mind that has been wounded long before the idea of this lesson had been conceived, no doubt further damaged by the Sith Witch's burrowings. A relatively easy task, Sin'ryk penetrated into the wretch's psyche and began to pour his ideals and some knowledge into the wounded mind. With a gesture, the prisoner fell to his knees reverently and began to recite the Sith Code...in the tongue of the ancients, Sin'ryk and Tsisaar's native language.

" Nwûl tash.

Dzwol shâsotkun.

Shâsotjontû châtsatul nu tyûk.

Tyûkjontû châtsatul nu midwan.

Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha.

Ashajontû kotswinot itsu nuyak.

Wonoksh Qyâsik nun."

Then, the Red Sith released his grip on the wretch's mind. He anticipated there would be a greater challenge after this.

(Skipping Ilyusha its been a long time)

It was impressive what the other acolyte had done. He was able to make him recite the sith code in the sith's native language. It was the only thing he knew and could say in the sith language and as such the only reason he could tell what it was. He would have to do something as impressive with this man but what? Could he make him move against this master who had punished him for showing her respect? Possibly but that might result in another punishment. So he started to wonder what would happen if this man was exposed to his emotion that was bottled up so tightly. Could the man take it?. He himself had never completely lost himself into all of it before.

It was decided. Raslekx reached towards the mans mind and let his locked emotion into the mans head. He pushed it in as much as he could duplicating as much as he could. The guy looked towards him with open eyes and the all his muscle tightened. Raslekx pointed towards the ground and the prisoner got to his knees and bowed his head touching the ground until he released his efforts and he shot back up faster then he thought he could move.
